New System Shock 2 and Thief Patches

I just read that there are amazing new patches for System Shock 2 and Thief. I didn’t played the patched games myself (yet) but it sounds like there are massive improvements to the original games. Beside many other things the games can now be run in high resolution on modern system. Also the game visuals have been polished allot.
