Hello there community.

As many of you know, about 4 months ago I did an INDIEGOGO campaign to create VB Game Cases. I decided to go ahead with the project. 😉 So! These cases should be in my hands in like 30-40 days. I have been working on the Backer’s Packages as far as covers go for the cases themselves and I wanted to pick y’alls brains!

I have the easy lists of the released Titles for NTSC and JP games, however, I would like to offer more covers and titles to my site once I have these up there. I have 2-4 other games on the list of covers to be created (Like the Super Mario Bros NES Hack) but I was hoping for a community effort in helping me create a “Wish List” of titles you are wanting to see cases and covers built for. I’m not sure how many Fan Brews and or Hacks are out there, but it sure would be nice to include them as available titles for the game cases. 🙂

Welcome to PVB! I am a backer of this project and I intend to get more some more in addition to the “package” I picked to cover my homebrew, English translations, FlashBoy+… plus have a few to grow on. I, for one, have never been happy with my VB cart storage options and was thrilled you are making this happen!

As for covers, dig through all the posts and links on the below thread and I think you will get most of what you are looking for (lots of links to other sources for you to sort out):

I am also a backer of this project. I would love a cover for the Flashboy+ as there never has been a CIB option for the + version.

Ah, maybe I missed it as the plus verison I have is in the 3d printed case.

Hi. The FB+ was never released CIB. However, a box was created and offered separately. The first 3D printed shells were done in red and those were made about 6 years ago. Before that, the FB and FB+ was housed in an official VB cartridge shell.

To clarify on the “FB+” and boxes topic:

Back when I was making them, the first 100 or so units of FlashBoy Plus came CIB and in official cartridge shells. Like the original FlashBoy, but in an updated box.

After Richard started handling everything by himself, the box got ditched and cart shells were 3D printed, in various forms. From that point, the product was called “FlashBoy+” instead of “FlashBoy Plus”.

I was still sitting on a big batch of box prints at that point, so I split these and sent them to some members of the community who sold them off to FB+ buyers who also wanted a box. speedyink posted the forum link above. I believe all boxes were sold off a while ago.

That is a part of it’s history I did not know. My understanding was that they were always sold as two separate purchases. Thank you for clearing that up!
