While this past week has been a strange one with not being able to connect to PVB unless I use a proxy, its got me thinking about another way to communicate and stay in touch with the community.

With that I thought of Discord.

Would anyone else be interested in a PlanetVB discord server?
I personally would enjoy using it as I’m a fan of chat rooms, but if the built in PVB chat room is any indication… you all might not be. ( It’s always so lonely in there. T-T )

Just curious about what others think. πŸ™‚

It’s an amazing idea! I’m down for it all the way πŸ˜€

I already set up a server and some channels a little while ago but did not yet get around to properly configure everything and thus did not share an invite link yet. You’re right, though. With the recent connection problems, this is a good time to get started. Come on in! πŸ™‚

Awesome!!
Thanks KR155E!

on occasion we have also chatted in the channel #VirtualBoy on Efnet, IRC. it isn’t widely populated with PlanetVB members, but can be a chill place to idle and communicate about VB stuff.

Discord is a very nice option though and people seem to have found it already! No need to be online to see back through communications since it has an active server that saves the history.

To add to this, it also has a very good app for Android and iOS, very nice to use! Also to PM and such.
