I hope this doesn’t count as spam but…

yesterday I thought of a concept: wouldn’t it be cool if one day there could be (even if only a few times or only on some years?) a thing that is like a Virtual Boy related mini-convention? (maybe taking place in a bigger game related convention?)

I’m not sure if this could ever happen due to less people finding interest in the VB then… say, anime or something and also those who are VB enthusiasts might be too busy or have other things stopping them from going to said convention at whichever moment there would be one (also, considering my age at the moment and other factors, I probably couldn’t participate) but a enthusiast can dream, right? 😉

I don’t think the idea is too out there. I know that there has at least once(and I believe multiple times) has been a mini convention/get together for Atari Jaguar enthusiast and that console only sold a 3rd the units the VB did. Then again the Jag may possibly have a greater fan base then the VB but no way to really know. 😛

All you need is for everyone who goes to conventions and wants to get together with other VB fans to post about what convention they’re going to next. Everyone going to that con decides where to meet up, and badda-bing, problem solved. There are probably dozens, if not hundreds, of conventions/conferences/symposia/etc. happening on any given day somewhere in the world… 😛

If there’s such a thing as a convention for cats dressed like pirates, I nominate that location.

Gone a bit offtopic there but got cats in so had to reply.
If those are your cats then you very lucky, we have a Ginger boy just like that, but cooler, IMO, he doesn’t own a pirate costume though.
