Hello all!
Anyone know if there is any way to reset the score board for Galactic Pinball?
Thanks!
There are various ways described here: http://projectvb.com/tech/erasesram.html
If you have a Retrode, I’ll be releasing a firmware update with SRAM save support using a modified VB plugin. You’ll be able to read/write your save games. Erasing your save would mean writing FFs to the SRAM.
Why would you want to? When I got my game used this guy “Josh” had all the high scores, I just played it like hell to beat them all 🙂
Thanks all for replying. I thought I was missing a setting in the game haha! OH and I have had two others play my virtual boy that have NEVER heard of it. They told me they wanted to get a virtual boy as well! yeah!
I just discovered this amazing page, I am Mexican and I love Virtual Boy I discovered how to reset the score here a video …..

Is this a clever scam bot or something? Posting links as your only two posts is sketchy as hell. I’m not clicking them, lol.
believe it or not the trick works, just go to “Top Score” wait a second and press up up down down left left right right B and then A and bingo! ¡the message to erase data will appear, do not click the links but the trick works even if you don’t believe it
I tried it in Mednafen and it does write something to the SRAM if you choose “yes”. I guess it works.
If Galactic Pinball has battery-backed saves, I suppose removing the battery would successfully wipe the scores.
I did it over nine months ago so I don’t care to google and try and find the where to do it exactly but there is a fast fix. All it needs is a AA battery, 2 small pieces of wire (one for each side) and you connect the wires to two spots on the board/chipset and it wipes the data in an instant. I had some crazy scores on the Pinball I got last year and wasn’t going to stand for it, then found the battery trick and it popped it back to factory settings.

I totally missed this back in November. It’s really rare that new, undocumented features are discovered in Virtual Boy games! So, even though there are a few other ways to erase save data, this is a very cool find! 🙂
