Since I’m sure not too many people will be interested in the box only I am no longer offering it and will be offering a Box + Manual. It will cost $20 + shipping if we get 20 people or close to it. If you add your name to the list you are 100% committed to ordering. No orders will be shipped out until everyone has paid. I have attached the artwork that will be used. Please do not reply to the old thread to avoid any confusion. If you had your name on the list before you will have to add it again. Please copy the list and add your name if you are interested.

I’ve got a guy that say’s he can make the boxes. But, he needs a higher resolution pic of the box on the front. And a link to a manual we want to use. I’ll order one and check it out..I’ll post pics once I have it. If this works out….we can do space pinball and some of the homebrews.

Here’s a link to the original High-Res box:

If there were ever any external links to an instruction booklet, I think they’ve all expired. They are nowhere to be found, it seems. 🙁
I found the instructions in a rar I once downloaded! Also included the full case cover from the same rar. I hope it is good enough!

I had some issues creating my own version of the manual due to the page numbers being too close to the outer margin and would end up becoming partially cut off when trimming the manual to size. I corrected that by moving the page numbers inwards a bit. I also bolded the outline and shadow on the Bound High cover title to smoothen it up and removed the white marks present on the inner artwork (notably page 7).
The colors looked a bit flushed to me, so I cranked up the contrast to make it pop a bit more (Maybe too much?). I also added red outlines to the screenshots shown on page 6.
…And finally, the original box art had a misspelling on the last bullet point: “Challenging scenarios will *provice* players…” I corrected this on the version I printed.
Not sure if this is any better, but I had some extra time to devote when making mine. Although, mine are made out of 80# paper stock, so a more professional cardboard version would be nice! 😉

Here is the spell corrected box art.
*Special thanks to the individual who created these works of art. I hope I’m not stepping on anyone’s creative toes by editing this stuff!

Almost forgot pages 1 & 9. I removed the shadow which was visible in the original scan.

What size should the box art be before printing? I’ve made a sample box but it was way to small.

Just found the original posting with the box art and manual that I used to modify above. The post below gives printing instructions which state “DO NOT SCALE TO FIT.” I went to Staples to get mine printed, but they had to use 13″x17″ stock using the “Do Not Scale To Fit” option. ****They also had to save it as a .pdf on their system first before they could accomplish this (not sure why, but this worked)***
Depending on how close you fold it, the box will either be slightly larger than normal or significantly larger than normal. Maybe scaled down to 98-97% of original size would work a little better, but I’ll leave that for someone else to tinker with.
Here is the post for the original box with instructions:

Also, see the same thread (Post #100) from Virtualboyfreak who created the manual. Thanks to both these individuals for doing the hard part!
I’d highly recommend going somewhere like Staples because it only cost me $0.69USD per copy vs. wasting all my own ink. I printed several copies to make sure I’d have a few to practice with.
yeah i discovered that link not minutes after posting that but i have yet to go to staples for some legal paper.
Hello,
I am interested in a BOUND HIGH copy too….
Unfortunately I checked back here on the forum today to discover that it can be ordered.
Am I too late?
Please contact me off-list. I wanna buy it.
Thanks,
Wolf
I love Bound High, I have a cartridge of it coming in soon. But I wouldn’t mind having the box and manual.
Just so you guys know the boxes are in the works along with the manual. I wanted to make this a special release and actually release the cart with it. If that’s not possible I’ll just release the box and manual. But would love to do the game justice.
I have no idea how to make VB carts. I’m told some of you guys here can. I’m new to this forum but I do run http://www.uncletusk.com and am looking forward to start to make VB everything! Let me know what you need. I do have the die for the VB box ready to go.
I’ve found the art files here, but does anyone have the original PSD file or something of the box needs a lot of work since the black cut line is merged in the final jpeg. Any one that can help can definitely get some good stuff!
Best way to contact me is probably through email vince@uncletusk.com or just post here.

Anyone who could make me a cart, please PM me. Interested in this box as well… if I can get the cart.
DaytonaUSA, I got mine from MineStorm; message him I am sure he can sell you one.

Awesome. Thanks man!
Someone is selling Bound High boxes on EBay, but won’t ship to Canada. Is that someone from here?
The only ones i’ve seen are the oversized boxes on ebay. We have a box maker currently getting the boxes and manuals done. I think the current time table is a month til he’s done.

Oh dear,
my eventual plan is to get Bound High, so I may as well get the box and manual as it becomes available.
Also, I noticed that this Topic is getting very cluttered, would it make sense to create an “order” sheet in another, more visible way? Perhaps a poll, or maybe there is another way that I have yet to find on the site…
I will not be making anymore repros of commercial games.
