I tried searching the whole site and cannot find the ROM to Bound High. If there is not a ROM available, then why are there passwords listed in the game’s profile? I’m confused.

i can understand why you dont want to whittle away at the small amount of games that are out there but lets face it. that baseball game is shit. nobody actually likes it and there are TONS of copies floating around. we can either be sitting on a pile of shit or a pile of VB gold. personally, i’d rather see the baseball game sacrifice itself for the good of the community.

Agreed… they made way too many of something that nobody wants… might as well make something good out of them. They obviously overestimated what was needed, so if they would have estimated correctly, we wouldn’t have these extras and we’d be scrounging for cart parts.

It’s even possible that they got a good deal to make more carts, because Nintendo made too many connectors and cart plastics (the stuff that we want), so at the time they could at least make a few bucks back on their investment. But in the end at least the raw materials were made available rather than being tossed… but IMO there’s nothing special about any of these carts, which would just sit in boxes (unsold) rather than being put to use.

…This kickstarter thing, if it doesn’t eventuate do we get our money back, or does whoever sets up the program flee with all our cash?

In kickstarter, if the project doesn’t get 100% funding before the time limit, then nobody loses any money. In fact, you don’t actually pay until the project is funded (that’s when you’re charged the amount you said you would pony up). So really it’s no risk to those that want to put up money…

I would be up for donating €50 !! I need to play Bound High once in my life 🙂
