Hi all, I’ve been checking eBay to see what Virtual Boy things there were, and I found these two auctions:

Last year, I was ripped off more than 1,300 euro by a guy called Michael Starkey, who has even posted in these forums, by putting up for sale Virtual Bowling and SD Gundam at eBay. I won the items, but never got them. I got eBay to cancel his account, but two months later, the same e-mail address (sparkeyflex@ntlworld.com) created another eBay account. Now, there’s this guy called “electricalmick” who’s selling Virtual Boy Bowling and Gundam, and curiously has 8 positive feedbacks.

If you search for a user with email “sparkeyflex@ntlworld.com” at eBay, you’ll see it’s a user with 8 positive feedbacks and 100%. Too many coincidences, so be VERY careful with these auctions. I’ve already reported them at eBay. If someone has already bid, I’d recommend you check his information when you win the auction, and if he is “Michael Starkey”, forget it, it’s a RIP-OFF.

I hope he doesn’t rip off anybody else this time.

Michael Starkey is the biggest cheater I have ever seen, and his absolutely abysmal defenses are beyond a joke. Whatever I said in my last post I want to immediately wipe from history, as I am now truly embarassed for putting any kind of trust into that charlatan. My biggest appology goes to palacious25, and I thank you for warning me – I managed to pull out from Starkey’s tricks just in time. So I will reiterate this warning to all: Michael Starkey will decieve you without blinking an eye, and he will revel in your losses. He has done it before, he is doing it now, and he will do it again. Avoid like the plague!!!

Sampler, what makes me very happy about all this is that I was able to avoid you getting cheated. As I have said many times, I have all the evidence regarding the money he stole from me last year. He is even reported to the Spanish police and to the British police. The problem is that in the UK, any theft below 10,000 UK pounds is a minor theft, so I could only report him, and they cannot do anything else. On the contrary, in Spain, any theft above 300 euro is a major theft, and since the money he stole from me was 1,300 euro approximately, I reported him to the police so that everything (including the evidence) goes to the judge so that the situation is investigated.

Unfortunately, this will not be the last time that Michael Starkey tries to cheat people. I hope that on one of those cheats, he finally gets caught by the police and gets the punishment he deserves… 😕

reply to sampler i cant see how u can say that when u never rang me after i sent u a reply with my number so nothing has become so why the bad vibes ,my vb is broken so i have no use for the games and if u was coming to collect then ,how could i of ripped u.

the only thing u achevied palacios is left me with some unboxed games which are of no value to me at least virtual bowling finally got a home to somebody who trusted me to sell without being subjected to trickery ,mr palacios is tricking the lot of u and u are all falling for his story ,come of it mr palcios stop holding back the full truth

Ok Michael, here’s the scan of the report to the Spanish police to demonstrate it, as well as the bank receipt of the 1,323.19 euro I sent you for SD Gundam and Virtual Bowling. Now, Michael, can you scan and post the receipt of registered shipping demonstrating that you shipped the games to me? Of course not, because you didn’t send them… I also have all the e-mails we crossed regarding the trades. As I said, the truth is there for everyone to judge. If you hadn’t ripped me off, why would I be doing all this? I’m just warning people that you cannot be trusted, that’s all.

Yeah, I couldnt agree with you more. I find it almost unbelievable to what extent Strakey lies – I have never seen before a person with such cruel and deceiving intentions. If you hadnt pointed him out in this thread, I shudder at the thought of how much more honest people he could have ripped off.
