I searched the forum first and I couldn’t find anything on this so I’m going ahead and posting. Does anyone know how to get past L-8 in Wario Land. You know past the big watermelon that just looks at you. As far as I can tell there is a watermelon way off to the left before the conveyor belt and you must move that over past the belt and onto the springboard, but when I try it either will not budge or I destroy it. The sign says put a watermelon on the spring board or lever or whatever it is but I can’t seem to move the melon. This is really a great game and I would hate to give it up because I’m too dense to figure the first riddle out. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you,

this actually confused me for a couple minutes as well. go onto the conveyor belt, and the little fly dudes will drop watermelons every few items – those are the watermelons you need to stand under to catch – the big ones are just red herrings (and sometimes hide secrets!)

Yes… Make sure that when an enemy over the conveyor belt appears with a melon and not an explosive bomb, you do stand right under the enemy and catch the melon in air. If the melon hits the ground, it will break and be unusable, so you’ll have to wait for another melon-dropping enemy. Also, there are three conveyor belts that have buttons at the end of them, on which melons caught from enemies must be placed. I’m pretty sure that you can make it past the third button without having to launch the two melons into the two quickly moving baskets in the background. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend keeping at it and going back to the melon-dropping enemies and launching the melons until you do get both melons in the two quickly moving baskets. You won’t regret it. 😉
