I haven’t been a VB fan for long, but I have been avid about the collecting so far.

Today in fact I get to add 5 more complete mint boxed Jap titles to my list. The purchase is complete, but the shipping has yet to begin.

Looks like you caught the collector bug, too! Trust me, it won’t go away for a while, if ever. Researchers are still looking for a cure for it. Hopefully they’ll never find one. 🙂

You should be very happy with the condition-quality of the games when they arrive. Somehow, tokyotoyfactory actually had a few copies of both of those major rare ones, and from what I know, each copy was and is as mint as they come.

Way to go foil_lone_wolf! That is an awesome start to your collection. Go big or go home, right? It was a good idea to get those titles first because they don’t come up very often, and when they do, it’s usually several months before another one becomes available. Plus, who else has enough time to stalk ebay every day to look for this stuff, other than bigmak of course? 😉

…well, let’s just say “I opened a geek haven store to hold my collector bug in check and to house the results” 😀

So far I haven’t had time to answer this myself. If I display them at my store, it’ll look like they’re for sale, AND they’ll be out of reach of playing. And at home I don’t yet have a good option.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It`s a case I scored from Zellers. Zellers has been taken over by Target and are clearing out EVERYTHING so I scored five cases for my store. Really sharpens the place up, but I couldn`t help myself and commandeered one for my VB collection.

I`ll post a pic of the entire case when I get the name plate installed on the top.

That looks very smart indeed. I especially like the depth of the display and the fact the bottom is clearly visible and lighted. You did a great job organizing it all as well. However, I agree with Protoman85, you have to let Insmouse stand tall. 🙂

Also, I’m very curious about the small hint of the case next to it. I see some Wii and Sega(?) stuff. Any chance of posting an overview of everything so I can be even more jealous?

Good Eye! There is a very good reason for Insmouse on the floor.

All the other boxes are “new” most NM. Insmouse however (and Waterworld) have used boxes and aren’t sturdy enough to survive the shelf holders. I ran out of plastic boxes to hold them. Once I have protective boxes or better condition boxes, they will be put in their rightful place.

Everything else is store inventory. As requested here are the pics. Take note of the display names. As mentioned before I’m getting custom one done which includes our beloved VB.
