what do i need to wrigt my homemade game fore vb?

I trying to understand what i need to download and how to make them work on my computer.

Im completely new to coding (in a way). And came to ask what is the first program I should get? Im new to C but I think I might catch on quick….what should I do :question:

You need gccvb, VIDE, and just your basic Notepad. Of course, you can always go the next step on that and get Programmer’s Notepad.

Or, if you don’t want an exotic editor but still want to have multiple files open at once and indent code easily, use the MS-DOS Editor. That’s how I write VB code.
