Hello I recently got into the Virtual boy community around 2 months ago and have recently been experienced the glitchy display problem that all Virtual boy owners eventually encounter.
My video cards are fine but they need to be soldered,the oven method just doesn’t last long enough for me and if anyone would be willing to discuss soldering my cards for me it would be appreciated.

I highly recommend Tiptopjames on NintendoAge, he soldered up my two Virtual Boy units and they work great.

I actually contacted him and I am currently preparing my LEDs for shipment, I also checked with tiptoejames but runnerpack’s rates were better and I heard better things about him so thanks everyone for helping.

Yes RunnerPack is great! I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and keeps you informed of the repair process. He has fixed the displays out of one of my vb’s and I have sent him a second set to fix too.

Well everyone thanks so much for the responses and recommendations,Runnerpack fixed both of my Virtual boys perfectly and I no longer have any problems.

Why don’t you ask RunnerPack directly? He’s very helpful.

RP fixed my VB displays at a very fair cost* and did a terrific job.

Incidentally, I took an unusual route and ordered two displays off eBay to be sent to RunnerPack in USA. He then sent me the fixed displays to my address in United Kingdom. Quite a convoluted process, but it worked out great.

*No, I won’t say how much it cost me. I think that should be between you and RP.
