Hello i have the display box fore Virtualboy Mario tennis. But it has faded colours in the fromt of the box? Then i check with pictures here and the box look the same but the bottom off the box seems diffrent. Not bu colours or anything but the cutting of the papper looking weird conpaired to the scanned mario tennis display box that its scaned her.
I want to know if any have it on your boxes or its the box a copy?
OK, this all makes sense…
except for one thing that just came to mind.
Since as others have confirmed, that the U.S. version of ‘Mario’s Tennis’ was never sold separately,
and furthermore, that the only U.S. version of the box was the display box, I have the following question:
I would assume, that since I believe that Japan does not seem to follow the practice of factory sealing games, that a factory sealed copy of either region of ‘Mario’s Tennis’ does not exist, correct?
I am not going to pretend that this is authentic, but it is worth showing. I would imagine that it was done by Blockbuster for the purpose of display, a looong time ago- before it would have been worth selling as rare or sealed. Strange thing is, it has a game inside.

Since the value was so low, some blockbusters shrinkwrapped the used VB games and sold the “loaded” product on the shelf. (I mean, it was only like $1.99)
I’ve seen multiple sealed used copies with the blockbuster stickers on the shrinkwrap.
