I tried one of the settings I never use on my colored lights in my Virtual Boy display case, and found an interesting result! I love how as the lights change it highlights certain colors on the boxes. My favorite being how the Virtual Boy logos seem to flash in the red hued colors =P

Heh, nice effect. However, it led me to your other vids reviewing the Omate TrueSmart. I didn’t know it was that awesome, so now I’ll have to order one! Thanks for that 😉

It is pretty rad. Careful though, the company itself isn’t that great for support, and not all the specs are truthful. The main one is it’s not as water resistant as they claim, so if you want to use it underwater then don’t get this one. It’s only good for about a splash or rain.

Otherwise it’s pretty awesome, I really like it.

This is my display for Virtual Boy, it’s small but it’s still very nice.

The only thing not pictured is my other Virtual Boy box and my Blockbuster cased system with the power tap and 3 games (Teleroboxer, Mario Tennis and Galactic Pinball – **All duplicates of my main games**)

I actually have 2 boxed Japanese Panic Bomber’s and one boxed USA version too, it’s one of my favorite puzzle games.

It is very cool to see how other people display their collections =D

BTW I think panic bomber is an amazing puzzle game as well. I think I prefer it to Tetris actually..

I like how the enemies of Panic Bomber animate in 3D but I also enjoy how V Tetris has lines explode outward in a 3D way. 3D Tetris is also okay as it reminds me of the arcade game “BlockOut” but it doesn’t feel as good without the colouring of the blocks to help you form lines easier.

Virtual Boy definitely has nice puzzle games though.

(Also there’s a good side angle of the display, it came from GameStop.)

Damn when i see pictures like this from somebody else collection
I really start missing my virtual boy collection
But i coming back already have 7 games again 🙂

I like collecting many videogame related things, there’s a rich and interesting history about videogames with many different choices for collecting. 🙂

(I added a plexi cover to my best boxed system and rearranged the shelves to be more visually pleasing to look at.)

I hear you there. The problem with getting into multiple consoles is all the games that are out there. The list of games I want seems to never end =P

Sport Vii (impossible to find other VC cartridges)
Playstation 3 (haven’t bought a game for it in a long time, mostly use it for Blu Ray’s.)

Love your display (as well as the other ones here). Your laugh in the beginning of the video had my dog all sorts of confused. She wouldn’t stop tilting her head at the screen.

I thought of making a display shelf thing for my VB cartridges… imagine a flat piece of plywood-ish wood, with strips of wood on it sort of, making it a grid (red of course and the big plate being black) I’d make the squares be big enough to hold one VB game and basically so I could have all carts there. But I need to get the wood, not sure how to make the strips, I’m not a carpenter and I’m sure the wood would break and get uneven and stuff. Plus I’d have to lean the thing against the wall or something, if it’s perfectly flat on a wall I’m sure the games would fall out.

So it’s a good idea with problems and with a high probability of never seeing the light of day. A normal thing when it comes to me.
