i have a Virtual Boy, but this does not boot up, when i turn it up on the virtual boy does not show any image on the lenses, but only make a sound like a old refrigetator

That sounds bad indeed, not necessarily unfixable, but it isn’t right. I cannot tell you what it is exactly, but it sounds as if one of the mirrors is blocked or something like that. Best is to open it up and hear/see where it comes from.
