I’ve done one Virtual Boy game review so far, planning to do all of them. First things first, Mario’s Tennis.

Now… My experience with things like this is that when I show people who don’t know much about the stuff in question, they’re intrigued and appreciative but when I show it to the experts, they find all kinds of faults with it. But nonetheless, I’m going to give it a try. So if you hate my first few reviews, and subsequently me, I’ll go away 😛

sigh… no review today. The Wav containing my voice has gone missing. NO idea how that happened, but I do have another coy of it at another location. Unfortunately I don’t have a key there anymore so I have to mail a guy working there and he can send it to me. But anyway, it will be delayed because of that.

I’ve just watched the reviews you made, and I gotta say, very good production quality! There’s just one little suggestion, though…

The game sounds are kind of canned. Maybe you could make a direct connection from the headphone jack to your microphone jack, to get the best sound quality? Male-to-male analog audio jacks do exist (I have three).

Thy will be done. I have one of those cords… I’m not sure it’s long enough though. But I will look into it.

Nice review, I have not played either of them on VB unit but now I think I’ll give virtual bowling a go, well when time is my friend again…….

I’m thankful it’s on Virtual Boy because it’s a good game.

Then you’re thankful the game exists rather than it being on the VB. Not dissing the VB, sound-wise I think they made a good choice, it just DOES seem a bit odd since the VB’s 3D prowess doesn’t seem to come into play much. (Note: haven’t played the game.)

Tomorrow I’m going to record footage and voice to 3 more reviews. Bound High is next, but I’m going to take my time because I’m (that I know of) the first guy to video review it and I want to set the bar high. The other 3 are Jack Bros, Mario Clash and Galactic Pinball.

Protoman85, I have watched all your Virtual Boy reviews and I joined this site just to tell you how great I think they are! You’re the reason I dropped the money on Insmouse. I just watched you Nester’s vs. Virtual Bowling and I loved it! I belong to the 64dd.net site & would come to this site via link to see what was up in Planet Virtual Boy world and before I would spend money on a game I’d watch one of your reviews on it 1st, they were very helpful! I would like to see Jack Bros review 1st, there are not a lot of good one’s out there. Keep up the good work, and THANKS!
