I was an original owner of the Virtual Boy having got it for Christmas in 1995 and secured the Performance carrying case and 12 of the 14 US releases (Never had Jack Bros. or 3D Tetris). BUT like an idiot, I sold all of my VB items, all were CIB even the virtual boy, for $40 at a garage sale in 2000 when I first got my license and needed gas for my car π That was one of the stupidest sales I’ve ever made and have regretted that for a long time. But I am now back in the VB world with 2 CIB units and 12 US releases (yet again the same 12 I had and still do not have Jack Bros. or 3D Tetris again haha).
I have always been a fan of the obscure systems. I am a huge Atari Jaguar collector (also an original owner as well, bought it new in 1995 and still have everything CIB) Luckily I never sold my Jaguar I kept it in storage for a while, and wish I had done the same with my Virtual Boy. I am up to 64 cartridge games for the Jaguar!
Also am an avid Sega Saturn fan as well. Never got the system as a kid but always liked it!
Thank you for any welcoming to the community π

Welcome to the site!
Looks like you got a pretty good collection already π
You have 64 carts for Jaguar? Seems wrong to have any other number. π
Wikipedia says there are a total of 67 carts, plus 15 CD games. That might be off, since there’s an AtariAge forum that says there’s a total of 83 games, which is one more than 67+15. Shrug. Either way, that’s a phenomenal CIB Jaguar collection.
And VB collection too!
Welcome! I think I saw you post on Facebook. Your collection looks familiar π

I think the list on the Atari age forum doesn’t include some of the non commercial releases. I have a couple that weren’t commercial and are homebrew that I had someone make me carts for. Fallen Angels, Tube SE, and Gem Race are three of those I can think of. Also Mad Bodies I don’t think was a commercial release or Hyper Force (but that one came out years later). I am still in search of the elusive CD add on console so I don’t have any CD games just yet π
Either way I love the Jaguar and the Virtual Boy! Both were my consoles of choice as a kid since they were cheap to buy and I couldn’t afford the big ones at the time (N64 and PlayStation) π

Thank you thank you! I have seen your posts on the Facebook page as well. You’re probably the only one with a custom pink Virtual Girl! That’s creative!
Ill likely end up selling my second unit but if I don’t I wouldn’t mind a like green one that’s my favorite color π

That would be me with the Virtual Girl lol. If you do wind up painting it, I wanna see pics! I love seeing customs.

You’re looks great how you did it and it makes sense to have a Virtual Girl if there is a Virtual Boy. If this system hadn’t tanked who knows maybe they would have made a pink one for people or a case to swap on! Seems like it would be pretty easy once taken apart, but I better like it as no one will want to buy a jacked up green VB unit!

It was pretty easy to do. The only thing that kept me from finishing sooner was the virtual girl logo was constantly being delayed by the printer.
