I have applied a quick and dirty hack to the PM module to allow notification via email when new PMs are received.

There’s currrently no option to turn new PM notifications on or off, the only option to turn them off currently is to entirely turn off notifications via email. I will try to find an easy solution, though.

I’ve now implemented an option to turn the new PM notifcations on or off. It can be found under http://www.planetvb.com/modules/profile/edituser.php.
