This is the official announcement for the release of Bound High complete with box and manual like it always should have been.
Together with Mindstorm and Bigmak we have been able to assemble an all star team to get this together.
Couple of notes.
There will be an original 50.
The plan is to make 100 of these total. If there’s enough demand we will continue to make them. But once 100 sell we’ll need a bunch more to do another batch!
If you have already paid and/or agreed to pay for the box and manual, you can still receive the box and manual. Or you can use the money you paid to put towards a Complete in box version.
What you get.
Box, manual, cartridge with label, inlay, and i believe inserts (bigmak?)
These will ship out in roughly 2-3 weeks
The price of the game, shipping included will be
US price $71 USD
International price $75 USD
We’ll be staring on our second release, Space Pinball. We look forward to doing lots of these. And other releases. So, get your butts in gear game designers!
The first 20-30 carts will be in my hand soon. So, the first 20-30 people to pay will get there’s in the order received.

Since I cannot update this original thread I’ll be keeping track on my own and on Nintendo age at this thread. This is the official release thread! If you’re on this list and have paid and I have forgotten, please let me know.

If you’ve paid 25 or 30, just subtract that from the price and that’s what you owe.
Please contact me via PM or post in this thread to be added to the list. The sooner you pay the sooner your game will go out and the higher on the list you will be!
Thanks a bunch. Attached is the box image. The rest will look just as amazing!

Got mine as well! I must say, absolutely top marks to everyone involved in making this a reality. I honestly did a double-take at how EXACTLY like a real box and manual they are!!! I’m thrilled and proud to be able to add it to the collection.
Looking forward with great excitement to future projects!
With the awesome review and the classy work, I would like to have the option to donate additional $$ to the cause to help those that are working so hard to bring these titles to the community at great expense in their own time and money.

Totally unnecessary! But if you must, you can send us chocolates! or chocolate covered money if you absolutely must! Only way we will accept it!
There may be some projects where we need more work done then currently is being done, like artists, or the cost of recreating inserts. etc. Eventually the stockpile of actual inserts, like we are using now, will run out.
Other than that, keep buying the releases when they come out. Buy more than 1. Buy one for your mom!
Let’s see some pictures of it up in collections, hanging out with his/her friends!
I forgot to mention that mine came in yesterday also. It looks official!
Just wanted to chime in here and offer my kudos to UncleTusker– got my BH set at work today and it is very professionally done. A couple folks on my team were amazed at how official it looked– they didn’t believe it when I said it was a fan repro. To all of you still waiting– I can’t find anything about this set that is unimpressive.
Well done, and thanks! 🙂
I am also super impressed by the quality of everything. The pictures on this thread don’t even do it justice. It seems that the paper used for the box, as well as the paper used for the instruction booklet, are actually of a higher quality than the paper used for the boxes and instruction booklets of the officially released commercial games. Seriously… I don’t know if it is because of the age difference between this and the commercial games, but I have some rather minty CIB copies of commercial games, and they aren’t as high quality as this.
Awesome work to all involved. This is one of the best community made sets that I have ever gotten(and I have gotten many over the years). If I didn’t know it, I would think this was an official release(Hell, even better really). Top Marks, A+++!
P.S. I really loved the “papertowel” wrapping paper/packaging. LOL
Well, I got mine in, while the box does look nice, something went wrong with putting it in the envelope unfortunately. One corner is ripped, right out of the envelope and the envelope looks fine.
How can we solve this problem?

This is my unboxing video, I made it the day it arrived but just finished the editing. I have been entirely to busy with work and finals in college… next week is also finals.
But yea, there’s my video! I am the first to make a video about it on YouTube.

Oh no! I’ll have to send out a replacement. Not a problem. PM your address!
Can’t wait for mine. We just had snow… have to freeze myself to skip the waiting time…

Yeah got mine today 🙂 well pleased, top job UncleTusker! Thanks.
I looked at your time stamp before I remembered where you lived. I thought you got mail at 7:30 in the morning and was thinking you had the most amazing postal workers.
Got my two sets of manuals, boxes & stickers today, unfortunately lots of admittedly minor issues, but hey, we’re all collectors after all!
The envelope came very bent – there is even a note written on it (I guess by Canada Post) saying “Sorry – received it in this condition”, I guess from USPS.
The boxes are bent a little but ok, but the manuals and stickers were sliding around in the fairly large envelope – so the corners are bent, and one corner of both stickers stuck to one of the manuals, guess there was some residue there. I unstuck them, but the sticker corner is bent, the manuals have small sticker marks on them, sigh.
Would be a good idea to put them between thin cardboard and tape it together so they can’t slide around so much, doesn’t add anything to the weight.
