Mhm the World in the Backround looks too real. It should look more like comic. Besides that i am wondering why you go for that ugly US Box design. The japanes Box design was much better.

I’m just making sure I didn’t screw anything up that I don’t know about VB games. I’m an NES collector. I’m very confident in this design. The world is what was designed by someone else. I’m not sure who. But I touched up the color a little bit and used it.
That looks awesome! Please put me down for two combos!
Also, there is a misspelling on the third bullet point on the back of the box. It reads:
“Challenging scenarios will *provice* players…” This should say “provide.”
One letter isn’t a biggie, especially since one of the original games, Virtual Lab, had “Nintenndo” misspelled. I was just wondering if it wasn’t too late to change that?

When you say other repros – what do you have in mind? I thought repros had stoppped now?
I think folks here might be a bit concerned if VB repros went the route of lucrative repros as seen on NintendoAge.
I’m interested in a combo though, without putting cash down right now that is.

I think he meant other released cartridges of Virtual Boy games, instead of reproductions of commercially released games. Richard only said that no more reproductions of commercial games, whether officially released or not, will be made by him. All homebrew titles are open game, however, just as long as the creator of each game allows carts of the game to be made, and thus, also boxes and/or instruction booklets to go along with them.
Also, I know for a fact that Richard isn’t the only one on this site who knows how to make reproduction carts of Virtual Boy games. If another capable person decides to take on the task, reproduction carts could still be made.

I do not plan to ever make a box that you could readily just buy for x amount of cash. I’d only make boxes and manuals for new homebrew games or old ones if there’s enough interest. This Bound High box and manual is an experiment in itself to see if there’s enough interest for it. It seems to be going well. I’m looking forward to doing lots of these. Ive had enough people come and ask me to do this, that I finally was like. It’s Time! haha. so, here we are.
So, if you guys ever want anything, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

I totally understand your worries. I worry the same thing about game boxes and bad people. I get emails weekly asking for repro boxes of actual games that are rare. “but it’s for my collection” haha. Yeah right.
