Original Post

A family crisis has recently hit home and I need to raise as much money as possible in as short a time-frame as possible. I have until the end of next month to sell everything that isn’t nailed down so that I can help my brother out of a bind. The first thing on the chopping block is my Virtual Boy collection.

Over the next week or so I will be launching items DAILY to the eBay auction site. I chose to go with eBay because even though I love this place, and you guys are great, more people looking at the items means more potential for a sale.

Tonight I have a bunch of games with manuals going up.
Also, my Prototype Japanese Adapter Tap (Mosaic Box)
My TravelMaster case (Alas, I barely knew ye)
Japanese Earbuds (in the box)
Performance Adapter Tap (in the box)

More great rarities tomorrow. πŸ™

Some of the stuff is already online with BUY-IT-NOW prices, but some of it won’t show up until later tonight (around 6:pm Eastern Standard Time)

Here’s a link to my store : http://stores.ebay.com/Big-Pickers/_i.html?_nkw=virtual+boy

Feel free to putter around and look at all the other cool stuff you can find in there : http://stores.ebay.com/Big-Pickers/_i.html

Thanks, guys, you’ve been great!

If there’s anything we can do..just let us know. Don’t hesitate to get back in the vb scene once the trouble has passed. I know we all have some extra vb stuff to help you get back on your feet when your doing better.

you mean you can’t sell it to us through here πŸ™

It’s a family emergency and he needs money quick..if he thinks he can get money faster from ebay..go for it.

I noticed the auctions said no international bidders..if anyone from this site wants an item..I’ll bid on it and send it to em. We can figure something out if you really want it.

@ colesonwilson:
If one of my stand fix kits helps you to sell a working set up with a good stand for more bucks then I am happy to send you one out for free, just pm your address and I’ll get one off, usually takes about a week to get to US.

I really think you should allow international bidders.

I could grab some of this stuff, but I can’t bid.
Greece is in a dire situation but Germany for example is fine and there’s demand for the VB in Europe due to it never arriving here.

Just my two cents, but I thought it was worth a mention.

Ditto from a VB collector in Canada.
Thank you Eric for your offer to send internationally, I may take you up on that.
It’s so easy to ship to Canada from the US, I never understand why people wouldn’t (I ship tons of stuff to the States), but that’s not the point here, hopefully things work out well for you in your current situation.

The reason I don’t ship internationally is due to the incredibly massively hugely disturbingly high level of fraud. If I ship 10 packages internationally only 8 of them will make it. This is fine if I’m shipping something that I make, or can replace, but on rare stuff or collectibles I just can’t take those kind of hits.

Don’t worry dude..for vb guys..I’ll lend a hand. Just let me know what you guys want..I’ll bid and pick it up..and we’ll figure out shipping.

If you’ve joined like yesterday and I’ve never seen u….srry..outta luck.

Gez amd L-E-T..just let me know what you want and how much you want to pay.

Just noticed, you put the wrong graphics up for this…

And the reviews also show Mario Clash…

Sorry to hear the bad news, I hope everything works out for you and your family.

There’s a demo tap going for 99c on there.
If it goes for under $150, it’s because I couldn’t bid on it.

If you only send via registered/insured mail (as I do), you can protect yourself against this, but good luck with the auctions and I understand your stance. I hope you can get the amount you need for the circumstances, which we’re all very sorry to hear about.

Sending world wide is no problem as long you send it insured and with tracking.

I also will like to bid on some offyour items but i cant beacouse i am in the netherlands πŸ˜‰

Sorry to hear about your situation Coleson. Lots of tough times myself with my mother’s medical probs, but right now I’m happy to report that all is good for the time being. I’m still in quite the financial pickle, but my mother seems in good health.

I wish you and your brother the absolute best.
