So I recently was registering for Planet VB, and it was a strange experience. FireFox was warning me that the website might be malicious, the website didn’t automatically send me my activation code until hours later (I guess it’s manual? Might be good to write that somewhere so new members don’t second-guess themselves), and even after that it was more hours until I could post.

The weirdest part was that after I clicked the first E-mail link to activate my account, and then I logged in, some of the website’s components were constantly refreshing themselves which made the webpage run really slow, and I was denied access to anything on the forum. I had less access than when I was logged out.

All these problems existed on both of my PCs.

It’s a cool website, but I thought I’d tell you guys about those problems I was having.

I had a strange issue as well, I ended up stuck in a loop after registering where the site said I wasn’t confirmed so it goes to reload the page, then it says the same thing after redirecting, again and again…

I eventually got out of it by going into another browser (started in Chrome went to Firefox if I remember correctly) and resent the confirmation email.

Also, my profile says I’ve been a member since 1970, so… that’s a thing.

Edit: I’m a time traveler! Now it’s 1969!

Plus you get the 15 year member badge and have 0 posts, even though I’m literally reading your post. What dimension are you from, anyway?

Its normal… this site is a pain in the donkey to create an account. there quite a few bug this site should have ironed out and features that should be added.

the message system doesn’t sent email notification and if you reply too many times the amount of text all piled in makes i difficult to find what was recently sent to me.

Not being about to edit the forum topic or post after a certain amount of time.

To be honest I’m not sure… Everything is red and black here, is that normal? 😀
