sometimes sites or companies (or even for the history of a videogame series) have stories on their site(s) (or, depending on what it is, theres sometimes a Wikipedia article on its/their history) of how they began, what they did in the beginning and how it progressed over time…

I read these sorts of things out of curiosity and wonder, yet… Planet Virtual Boy doesn’t really have a log of its history and how it began (besides the news updates and scattered things around the site) so… I have began to wonder…

how was PVB thought of, how did it begin and what happened over time that made it what it is today? 😀

(EDIT: oops, I realized after I posted this that it should have been posted in “PVB” and not “Main Virtual Boy Discussion”! sorry about that…)

A couple German dudes liked the Virtual Boy, so they made a fansite. Exciting stuff.

I can’t really offer much since I’m one of the creators, but if you haven’t already – you could spend some time on “the wayback machine”.

I know it’s not the same as getting a written account of how it all began from one of the site’s creators, but it’s still fun to kind of see how the site has “evolved” over the years.

I did go to the wayback machine to look at how this site looked years ago before (and interestingly enough, one of the few versions of Planet Virtual Boy looked like a site I swore I have seen before years ago… I was looking at various Nintendo related sites back then, but didn’t seem to remember reading about/remembering what the Virtual Boy is)
