I have been toying with the idea of attempting to replace the red plastic lenses considering one of the virtual boys I own has very scratched and scuffed lenses.

I first thought it would be a good idea to use poxy to try and fill and coat the lens but due to the thickness and bubbles I decided to look elsewhere.

red acrylic transparent plexi glass was looking good but expensive and I would have to cut it with a saw.

I then went on the hunt for clear flimsy plastic and found this.

Basically I would cut 2 small squares & disassemble the unit then glue the pieces on the inside.

the last idea was to heat up the lenses or torch the scratches with a lighter to smooth it out.

Anyone have there own methods to repair or replace the red plastic lenses?
