I have a VB (Japan version) which always worked fine, I haven’t used it for a couple of years and now the display doesn’t seem to work. I have sound on some of my games (which is loud and clear) but otherwise nothing. One of the games I did see the intro text for a second but then nothing, haven’t been able to get it to come up again.
I’ve watched some Youtube videos but they’re usually to fix flickering screens or one lens out, is it all the same issue? I’m a bit nervous about taking the thing apart as I’ve never really done anything repair wise (although I did take apart a switch controller to change the joystick to sort out a drift issue, that’s about the extent of my knowledge!)
Is there anyone in the UK that repairs them? Is it easy to do if not?
