Well I know that other buyers have explained this to him so on this occasion I did take a strong stand.
I buy a lot from this particular seller so I wasn’t going to be misled.

It actually really annoyed me and took quite few e-mails to get a half admission out of them, but I got there in the end and recived a demo tap for free I suppose (after I paid for the other one).

I was at one point expecting to have to return it to get a refund , which is a moot refund basically (after return shipping costs) and I can assure you it took a lot of strongly worded e-mails to get that tap in the end.

Though I was royally peeved on this occasion, I did work things out with the seller and have continued to buy things, putting this singular unpleasant episode in the past. I’d still definitely and wholeheartedly recommend him, maybe just stay away from the taps…

Seems high to me for just the cart…but I don’t know. As a collector, I guess if I spend the money ..I want it more complete.

I think you are right that there are no scans from this on here
Also the latest issue from games tm have 2 pages with virtual boy including a interview with my self about virtual bowling 🙂

Before I throw it up on eBay, I was wondering if any of you guys are interested in a Platform display unit. It has the original keys, original low serial# console, and even has that little white controller cable clip still attached. I only list on eBay to US buyers because I have been scammed more than once from chargeback scams (USPS delivery confirmation often ends at the country of origin’s customs facility), but I trust all my international friends here. 😉

If any of you non-USA guys/gals that I know want it, please advise me of the best way to ship such a large heavy item overseas economically to you.

I may be interested – any pics? What would you be asking for it?

I’m not sure what the going rate for a Platform display is, so I’m open to reasonable offers. The last one that sold on eBay went for $750 Best Offer and was in worse condition, but I’m not looking for that much.
As for shipping costs to Canada, I have no clue. Weight of actual unit with AC adaptor is 9 pounds 15.3oz. I imagine packaging will add an extra 2 pounds. Shipping would probably be safer if the left and right flyer wing attachments and the console were detached for shipping. The wings are attached with 4 Phillips screws each (all same size screws), and the console simply can be removed/attached to the stand with the included keys. Neither of the displays exhibit the glitchy line problem, and Mario’s Tennis is included(you can change it to any game you wish by removing the console from the stand).
