You are correct… It is missing the little informational sheets that are on either side of the item.
Mine has them, though. hehehe
Do you have a picture of what they look like? I’d be interested in what is missing before bidding…

i’m pretty sure that was the displayed i used at toys r us, it had mario tennis on it. i remember it being really small just like that.
hours later and no way to edit my post….
the virtual boy pin is back. they are asking $250 buy-it-now or b/o. they have it listed as from 2004 E3, is that correct?
This is what the site has on it:

Not worth nearly that much. I paid 10 dollars for mine a few months ago..but it isn’t in the wrapper.
One pin sold for a bunch of cash..it was a bidding war. Now everyone one is trying to sell that thing for 100’s of dollars. I’d put a value of 50-60 on it at the most. It scares me abit that he has 5 offers on it…maybe i’m way off ???

btw..never seen the ‘silver’ version of it before
a bound high cart has made its way onto ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bound-High-super-rare-unreleased-Nintendo-Virtual-Boy-game-htf-1-day-auction-/200817293596?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec1a4b91c
we knew it would happen.

Bad news… I’d like to know the reason why this guy sell a Bound High cart . Richard works hard to give us a free BH cart and someone take advantage to make money .Does anybody know who is this guy ?
Yep. It’s been determined that User 83Skillz on this site is the culprit:

Thanks to him, Richard probably won’t be making reproduction carts of any commercial games anymore.
Anyone should feel free to send tons of hate mail 83Skillz’s way.
I could NEVER sell my copy! Its such a good game & one of my crown jewels! I feel like I’m giving the finger to Nintendo for not releasing it, every time I play it, That’s too bad, he did that. He should know better that all of us on this site have nothing better to do with our lives, other than sit and wait for it to show up on ebay and expose him! We were waiting for it! Some more than others.
He made it a 1 day auction, hoping we wouldn’t notice but a good portion of us are members of NintendoAGE also. I also check eBay daily for Virtual Boy items.
Just to be clear, my copy of Bound High is never gonna be for sale.
Shame.
It’s okay, though, because in about 4 days the name of the buyer will be available through eBay’s API, at which point we can figure out who bought it and then just tell them they could have gotten it for free here, and also implore them to return it for a full refund.
If they file a NAD dispute with Paypal the seller will have *no choice* but to take the item back, no matter what caveats or warnings skillz boy put in the listing.
Teach that joker a lesson.
Yes, thats a good idea. Hope it will work out, as I also want the game one day soon, and it would be quite unfair to those like me who don´t own a copy of it…

That is most excellent. I am definitely all for sticking it to 83Skillz, especially given all the lies and distortions contained in his listing, which were deliberate attempts to deceive those who aren’t familiar with Planet Virtual Boy.

Too bad nobody knows Sean Killingbeck’s e-mail address, because if people knew seankillingbeck@ymail.com was his e-mail they would be lighting up his inbox letting him know how much of a dick-move that was.
BTW – do NOT harass the Sean Killingbeck on Facebook, who has a deceptively similar username. They are not the same person.
I wish he wasn’t such a crook, he even bought Super Maruo from a member at NA for about $45 shipped and is trying to pass it as rare at nearly $150 shipped on eBay.
He claims it’s rare and you would be getting a great deal when you can still buy it for $45 on NA.
He’s good at screwing multiple gaming communities and lying to trick people out of their money.
Can we find out the buyer´s email address, so that we talk him into retreating from the purchase? I think this might be the best solution. Plus clearifying the real “value” of the game…
Nope, eBay protects buyers from angry other bidders whom didn’t win. We will never know the buyer whom got screwed into thinking it was a rare item.
Once the buyer leaves feedback we’ll be able to know who bought it, then we just contact the member and let them know.
what is the point of doing that? richard already said he will not make more retail game reproductions. does everyone think that it would be some type of small victory to get the buyer to return it? the seller would just list it again some where else. the buyer would probably get upset to find out that he could have traded 3 donor carts for one, and after reading that richard will no longer make them he will realize that he has something rare and probably keep it or resell it.
either way, richard isn’t making them any longer. it won’t matter if it gets returned or not. the damage is already done.
I said it before & will say it again, I would NEVER sell my copy of Bound High. I’m gonna play devils advocate. We all new someone was going to do it someday! Richard new too! That’s why he said we better not put it on ebay. We just didn’t know when and who would do it.
Now that we know, people are saying, lets go after the guy & harass him through email, which isn’t right either! Others say, stop the buyer of the game, some say whats the point. But what is the point of even posting the fact that someone put Bound High on ebay if we all had to pay a penalty for it. Just to be the first one on this site to say Hey, look what I found on ebay, bound high?
Now we all have to suffer the consequences of this joker. Im sure Richard doesn’t have the time to troll ebay all the time to check to see if its there, why do we? Im not gonna lie I checked ebay before to see if one of you all have put it up before as im sure a lot of you have as well.
If I ever found that any of you had, I debated whether I would say, because I didnt want to contribute to ruining it for everyone. We all are self destructing on this site, its done, game was sold! Let go back to loving the VB, and appreciating each other! I love this site & the people on it! Minus 83Skillz, for what he did.
This is my opinion, Im sure you have yours.
