Kiosk..small platform display

Nice find.

I also like the snes display in the background.

lester nailed it.

on a different topic.. this guy is making VB cabinets to a very high standard..

With my minimal knowledge of media materials, I thought I’d share what just came up on Yahoo Japan.

A Mario Clash poster. A lot pricier than I’m willing to spend on a poster, but awesome just the same.

Have you learned how to see all of the known Virtual Boy flyers on this site? If you select a game, whether released or unreleased, that has a known flyer, such as Mario Clash, a picture of the flyer will appear under the “Images” tab for the game and in the “Flyer” section. If you then go to the far right of the Flyer line, you will see a link that says “Show All.” Click on it, and you will see all known flyers that Krisse has been made aware of and uploaded to the site over all the years. This is a good way to quickly inform yourself about all the media materials to search for, if you plan to collect them. If you ever find a picture of a new flyer, etc. that isn’t already on the site, bring it to Krisse’s attention so it can be added. Who knows what all is still out there to be found! 🙂

Boxed copy of SD Gundam Dimension War up on eBay for the low low price of US$1,500

Yeah, I don’t forsee a complete Japanese collection in my lifetime…

And Space Invaders for US$800, while we’re at it…

How about the one for about two-thirds of that price, eh? 😉

Given the normal price of Space Invaders, I’m tempted to take the hit and just have a crummy box, heh.

I paid $800 for mine, in about 2005. The only “Japanese Only” I’m missing are Bowling and Lab…

Can’t remember what I paid for Space Invaders, couple hundred. Squash was $100, good game — well worth it.

I called Atlas in the 90’s and got two used “Jack Brothers” for under $20 each, with zeroxed manuals. (Sayyyy, didn’t I see a copy of that manual on this site???)

I’ve gotta say, speaking of Jack Bros… I’ve been playing Persona 4 Golden, and it was pretty hilarious to see Jack Frost, et al in a completely different style of game. 🙂

I think I scored Space Squash a couple years back for $70 or $80 – great deal, it’s by far my favorite of the Japan-only releases (not that I’ve gotten a chance to play the “big 3” … but my FlashBoy’s on the way, hehe).

Oh wow, great prices for you! Maybe if the USDollar becomes strong enough, I can fly to Japan and the savings vs. what I’d pay on eBay would be worth it, haha. 😀

As pointed out, there’s a Gundam for about EUR$800 on a different country for eBay… so I can probably get one a year for the next few years and not feel too bad, if they’re available… but I think it’s time to calm down on the collection for a little while.

Finally someone willing to ship this thing instead of local pickup only. Zero feedback makes me a bit curious, but I can’t bid right now anyway. Good luck to those of you in the game!

“Member since January 29, two thousand thirteen”.

Yikes. At least ebay will refund your money up to a point — but this will go beyond that point….
