Is anyone on here a Hyperkin retailer? It would be nice if say 50 of these sets were made available to this forum.

Ummm…why should they do that? The people on this board are the people most likely to BUY them. And it’s not like we’ll take them, and promote them to our friends, none of whom own VBs.

I would rather that the people here who need them actually buy them, so there’s a market. Then, maybe Hyperkin will continue to produce them, or produce other interesting niche items.

It would enable some people to buy them – that understandably steer well clear of the infamous Global shipping Program…

So that the 5-10 people here who want it won’t have to go through a 3rd party who may or may not up the price, example is that auction link. Also to avoid possible expensive shipping costs. Also to have them on hand now and in the future.

Definitely interested, but my bank account isn’t. 🙁

Hyperkin has replacement stands now. Anyone own a business who might be able to get verified quickly? It would be really nice to have the eyeshade and stand replacements available here.

I sure could use a few of these. And the new eyeshade/holders.

i work at stone age gamer. i brought this up at work today. we buy hyperkin items. how many people would be interested? they said something about maybe a group deal.

That’s so cool! It’s a good priced replacement too!

Sign me up, I’d definitely like to get one, two even.

I would like a second eyeshade (not the plastic mount, just the shade). I’m tempted to buy a replacement stand, but mine is doing well so far. If they were made available I would probably end up buying one just to have it.

I’d probably be in for a stand. I already bought one of the eye replacement shades. It does a good job but they didn’t make them to OEM size. The ends that meet toward the nose area almost touch which means your nose is inevitably going to rub on it.

I could use a eyeshade and a couple of stands as well.

i am trying to set up a deal at stone age gamer on the virtual boy hyperkin items for everyone on planet virtual boy that would be interested. a price that would be lower than the msrp. i will see what i can do.

Getting a pair of stands would be wonderful!

That looks like a poster (flyer). I do not think that is a box image of any kind.

Yeah, given that the auction shows a flyer and a loose Virtual Boy unit, while saying that the product is new and that the pictures are of the actual items, it is hard to trust anything about the auction at all.

True.
