One thing that I’ve always found quite fascinating about the Japanese VB floor model displays, is the fact that they have two power cords (see above picture), one for the 3-D sign, and then the normal JPN AC Adapter for the Virtual Boy. This gives you the option to keep the sign’s light on or off as you play the Virtual Boy.
The North American displays did not have the option to keep the light off as you played the VB. Instead, they have a built-in power outlet behind the rail that the AC Adapter plugs into. There’s one wire that comes out of this built-in outlet, and once you plug that wire into an outlet, the 3-D sign will light up, and the Virtual Boy is ready to be powered on by the controller.
Pretty cool though, don’t you think!? 🙂

You lucky son of a gun! 😀
Yeah, definitely let me know. If I’m correct, the wire for the 3-D sign should come out from the bottom of the sign.
Keep me posted!

Oh ! That was you 🙂 I was the buyer from France. I’m so pleased to get this rare game sealed (mostly because there is almost no one in Europe).
Thank you very much 🙂
I went here because I had found this auction on yahoo :
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m263849739
It seems to be the same as the one on buyee (but there is less furniture in the background,so it shows that the move progress ). The price is not so expensive unlike what the delivery must be.
Here’s an impressive Japanese Floor Model Display on Yahoo! Auctions Japan:
