There’s a few problems I’ve been having with the site lately. They’re all pretty minor, but they do bug me a lot. First of all, the auto-login box is checked, but the auto login doesn’t seem to work (I have to login every time I visit the site. Second, (this one doesn’t bug me, but I thought I’d mention it) the flags on the login scrren all move slightly to the right when you click the login button. The last one, which is my biggest problem, is that the 32bit theme is the default for my account now. I liked the classic theme, but now I have to click on it every time I log in. It takes the site longer to load that way. I don’t mean to be a bother, but these problems have been bugging me. Anyway, is there any chance of them being fixed soon? By the way, I’m using Firefox (everybody should.)

hmm, the autologin is a hack made by a japanese, so i can not do much about that, i am having some troubles on other computers too. πŸ™

i didn’t notice the thing with the flags on the intro screen, but i think it’s cool somehow. πŸ˜‰ what do you guys think, should i try to fix it or keep it like that?

about the theme thing, you can permanently change your theme on the “edit account” site. i should add a few lines about that to the theme select block…

thanks, fwirt, it’s always good to get feedback about such stuff! πŸ™‚

About the autologin, I had the same problem, but the solution is very easy (just “hidden”, but very easy). If you have logged in before and checked the “remember me”, next time you enter the web, although you see the space for “username” and “password”, just click on the big Planet Virtual Boy image without entering the info again. It will access the frontpage with your username.

KR155E, maybe you could make the web check the cookies in the computer, and if http://www.vr32.de cookie is present, perform the click automatically. It’s just an idea, and it might be very silly because I know nothing about programming, but it just came into my mind.

Cheers.

hmm, i guess that’s what the hack is doing. i’d have to do some research on “xoops 2.2 autologin hack” or something to see if these problems are known and if there are solutions….
