I don’t recall finding this image on the site, I thought perhaps it should be in the archive somewhere.
I found it HERE. There are more images of this sign on the site if you scroll down a bit.
Apparently it was just a display sign for helping to sell the VB at stores.
Also, is there info on here about the VB TV unit? HERE is an image and some info.
Cheers!

Nice picture.
I can inform you that the item and the box is mine π
This picture is from a ebay auction from the begining. I belive i have the same picture in my colection here at http://www.vr32.de.
If there are any intrest in pictures of the box i can fix and send it to moderator.
that is a really cool piece. if i had it i’m sure i would use it often.
Ace little unit, that is about the only VB ‘collector’ type item I want, does anyone else have one, maybe for sale, maybe for not a vast amount of cash?
Real nice piece to have.
I’d love one of these as well. I think they’re really great.
What I’d give for a VB capture/debugger!
The Display Sign is here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/advertising/?m02
I am pretty sure I have some new, better images of it for adding to the site somewhere, though.
The “Video Adapter VUE” can be found here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/hardware/?type=vue&sec=video_boy
@L___E___T: If you haven’t heard it yet, I am open for offers for my VUE Debugger. π

What is the pricing you looking for the VUE debugger
Maybe i am also intrested please send me a pm about it π
Krisse has had the VUE-Debugger available for sale for a long time now, as is shown in his excel document attached to the first post of the thread “Attention Collectors! Selling my VB stuff!”
This isn’t just something that he can just give away to anyone who thinks it would be neat. As the description says, it is a Rare Version 1 Prototype Debugger, and it is the only one known to exist in the entire world.
That’s why the price is listed at 10,000 Euros.
If someone really wants to add this to his or her collection, that person really better want it a lot.
But Krisse is the one who can decide how much less he might be willing to sell it for, but I can certainly understand the current high selling price.
Alas, I don’t have 10K to spare π
If I were you Krisse I’d consider selling it back to Nintendo so that they can put VB games on the Virtual Console π
Thanks Ben, that’s pretty much to the point. It’s very hard to put a price tag on the debugger, since I don’t know of a single one that has been sold before, plus this is the only early version 1 unit known.
I have done the mistake of selling my SNES Debugger for like 1/10 of what it’s really worth, maybe less. I don’t want to do the same thing with my VUE Debugger, and that one is much more valuable and harder to guess what it’s worth.
The best way to figure its value out seems to be to write up a description of it, make some nice photos and put it on Assemblergames or ebay to see how much people want it. I am really not in a hurry to sell it, though, as you may have guessed. π

Unless I get a higher bid from within the community, or a considerably higher from outside, yes. π

Heh. Hopefully they don’t just SUE it back from me when I put it up for sale. π
But… we’re getting off-topic here.
Hey Krisse,
May I ask how you managed to acquire the VUE Debugger in the first place, mainly… from what source did you originally get it? I’m just curious. You must have had some pretty good connections to get that thing.
I just picked one up the other day. It works but I need to find a new light bulb for it.
Oh man. Iβd love one of those eventually. That is sexy my friend.
My Toys R Us back in the day had a Virtual Boy kiosk with that signage at the top.. it was a seriously super-cool effect, giving off a 3D effect of sorts.
Would love to have one of my own someday!
I’ve been dreaming about a VB sign since my first VB day’s.
Hard to find…..
Does anyone know how many of these signs are known to exists?
Also thank you for the various compliments.

I couldn’t come up with a figure, but I’m pretty sure that no more than 1 or 2 show up online for sale or auction per year, so it shows up about as rarely or even more rarely than Virtual Bowling.
It’d be hard to put a price on them, too, given their rarity as well as the demand for them among collectors.
