My VB screen is starting to show signs of the dreaded bars (they show up periodically and then disappear) is it best to fix it now, or when the bars become permanent?

Also is there any one in the UK that does repairs?

It’s probably better to get it fixed now verses later, that way you can continue to enjoy the awesome that is the Virtual Boy. Check out this thread for people who do the repairs in the USA and also UK:
