I can’t seem to find the topic that talked about this, but I asked for one for Christmas. I was wondering why an app was needed to run the thing since it was just an enhanced Viewmaster, until I read the box in the store more closely and realized the app needed was just a preview sample thing, so as long as you buy the reels you don’t need it. It also has a game to play, which is odd because it’s sort of like an old Odyssey 1972 two-player game where there’s extra stuff needed like cards and crap to play it. It looking like a Virtual Boy was only one of the reasons I wanted it. I thought it was just a groovy looking thing that I could use and maybe make a homebrew game of my own for it perhaps? The Viewmaster website is one of those stupid fancy-pants websites where you have to click on stuff and the URL doesn’t change, but I’m putting it here anyway. If I get one for Christmas, I’ll come back to this thread and report on it.

I found the original thread. It was from March. I didn’t realize how old it was. Well, if no one doesn’t do a write up until then and I get it for Christmas, I’ll be sure to say something about the Viewmaster VR.
