I’ve noticed a curious thing where when my VB + HF32 boots, it seems to reset itself about a second in, so games that have a startup chime play it twice. Before my VB was shipped to Belgium, it was tested with an official supply and an original Teleroboxer cart, and this didn’t happen.
It’s no big deal really, but I’m curious as to whether this sounds familiar to any of you, and whether it would be caused by the HyperFlash32 or by my unofficial AC adapter. I don’t have an alternative cart or power supply on hand to try it myself.

It sounds to me very much like a problem with the power that’s being delivered.

I think maybe the HyperFlash, being more complex than regular carts, might be pushing things.

Are you able to try it with batteries?

Yeah, my feeling was that it’s a power thing. I wasn’t sure because I’m pretty sure there’s some regulator circuitry in there, though I don’t know the full implications of that.
My system unfortunately only came with the DC adapter, so I don’t have a convenient way to test it with batteries.
