Ahh so it’s an on board thing, kind of like how someone would tinker with a pot wheel for consoles like with optical drives and what not. I could see how that could be a time suck, but far better than wasting time and money with replacement parts if it’s something of that sort. So that is good to know.

Just an FYI im still fixing consoles and dont plan on stopping any time soon. i get that question alot. so just wanted to clear that up 😛 PM me if you want your console fixed!
Another satisfied customer. Nesfreak fixed 8 lenses for me, all look spectacular. Clearly he’s a pro, and all 4 units work great (dare I say even better than before the glitching occurred)
Send him your lenses. Don’t second guess it. Just do it.
Thanks again Dave!

bump! no longer charging extra for cable swaps once retro dan has released his new virtual boy cables.
I just received my repaired VB back. I can’t express what a great job Dave does. My screens scan lines are totally fixed and are crystal clear now. Thank you so much!
ime been out of town for 5 weeks now. im back and ready to fix more consoles 😛
I don’t suppose anyone has the low-down on anyone that does these repairs in Australia?
My VB unfortunately started having an issue with one display flickering but has now gone completely blank also 🙁 Sound/controller are fine.
Would love to know if there’s anyone in this part of the world fixing them up, I assume postage to the U.S.A. would be horrendous 🙁

My Virtual boy is acting up. I do not see any 3D depth. I noticed if I close one eye I do not see an image. If I close the other eye I see an image.I am unable to open it because the hole with the screw is to long for a screwdriver. I am not explaning the problem well probably. I would happily send it in for repair to someone. Nintendo is no longer excepting them for repair. Can I get the info on how to send this in for repair here.
