Virtual Boy picture aligned to the left

Good day.

I just acquired a Virtual Boy from a friend, and I’ve been checking it. It’s condition is great aesthetically but it does have a slightly blurry image.

Some people recommended me to check the alignment of the picture (with the command Left, B, Down, A, Up). And the line looks something like this:

LEFT EYE ———- RIGHT EYE

_____|_________|_________________

It looks more to the left. Though this might be my bad vision. Also, I noticed I cannot move the IPD switch as much. I can only rotate it about 135° of the total circumference. The pictures attached are reference of the start and finishing points of the IPD switch my VB can reach.

Any exact reasons for this?
