I just bought a virtual boy with 5 games off ebay, when I turn it on both eyes work fine untill I get to the title screen, then the left eye either goes blank, scrambles or is just horizontal lines, and it does this for ever game I have. Is this the games messing up or is it the ribbon cable is loose?

Display cable problem for sure.

Definitely a display issue. Try leaving it on for a while and see if it gets better. I have a VB that, for some reason, needs to “warm up”, and the display sometimes gets better after 10 minutes or so… go figure.
