Hey Everyone!
Incase anyone hasn’t seen, I’ll be doing some batches of reproductions of some Virtual Boy games. (more can be found here –> http://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=6766&forum= ) I’m in works of seeing if I can get ahold of the guy responsible for Hyper Fighting. It’s no easy task, and It may just be easier to locate a proto of dragon Hopper :P.

BUT if I do get a hold of him, and I do get his blessing, curious, who would be seriously interested in a physical production of the game? I’m not sure of a price yet, depends on what I find out. But if I get the okay, and the ROM. I plan to release it with a newly designed label (which will help tell my batch from previous ones, plus I like the design I made more :P)

It’ll be cart only, but I’ll let Uncle Tusk use the artwork for him to create a box and manual for the game to help people get a CIB copy as well as let people who want just cart only to be cart only (In exchange I’ll just ask him for a free set for myself :P)

Just getting a feel for demand and a head count. I’ll keep you all posted from what I find out

Thanks!
~Johnny

(If this falls through, my first game will end up being Gundam SD English)

The price on repros is too high for me to want to snag any.

I would like to know if this is dead or not. Because if it isn’t I would be very interested depending on the price. Thank you.

If this project does move forward, I’m interested in a copy.

Hey everyone!

Not dead, just wounded 😛 Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while now, house stuff and living situation has taken a turn for the worse :/ as well as some issues in the family. So it’s been a slow start to getting the repro’s off the ground. I Still fully intend on doing so, just don’t have a ETA at the moment.

Many people are interested in this, maybe you need some help with this? The people here are always willing to help. 🙂

Good to hear this isn’t dead! I’d love for this to move forward, which will in turn hopefully drive some of these crazy prices down. I’d of course be interested in two copies

I’d be interested, but at an affordable price of course….

Sorry to hear things took a turn for the worst. I hope things start looking better for you soon. I’m in no rush for the repro. Just make sure you’re alright 🙂

Oh OK. Take your time to resolve your personal stuff before you keep moving with the Hyper Fighting repros 😉 I’m glad the game is being made more widely available 🙂

Just wanted to add another vote as some one who would be interested in this.

i would definitely be interested as well if this were to come to fruition =D

I would also be interisted in 2 complete boxed copies if a reproduction becomes available.

Thank you.

I’m interested here – would even be willing to pay up front (as long as the price is not outrageous!)

I am interested too !

Put me in for one copy when it comes out.

Sorry it’s been so long, but I’m finally in my house and currently unpacking. I found all my VB stuff and all the blank pcbs, now if I can remember how to make reproduction games I should be good to go

It’s been a crazy 3 years to get this far, after 36 mortgage payments, I’m finally in

Sign me up for one.

If this get’s to production: count me in for up to two copies, depending on price.

Interested aswell 🙂

Absolutely interested.

Also, off topic, yes — hi! I’m new. 🙂 I just got my first VB yesterday after years of always being curious. I’m beyond hooked. Very glad there seems to be an active VB community.

Well, welcome to the community; I find that nearly all people that actually give Virtual Boy a try end up really interested. I started collecting in 2012 and I am still collecting to this day.
