The problem is everyone on this forum is aware of resources to fix their VB. Thus nobody ever has a system that can be parted out.

May I ask how you are missing a display?

Hi Dreammary, I’ve had my VB’s displays fixed in the past. I got a very nice set fixed by Runner Pack.

The problem for me was that one of the ribbon cables got accidentally creased and the display unit crushed, and it wouldn’t make connections since.

Thus I have one working display, and need another.

If you aren’t in a hurry I might have one in a couple weeks to a month. I have 8 I’m sending off for repair. There’s a chance 1 might not work so I’ll be left with an odd number.

Piggybacking off this thread.

I tried to do my own display repair and failed; the flex cable came apart after I _just_ couldn’t get all the connections to work properly.

Is anyone willing to send me two displays which have been properly soldered? I don’t think I have it in me to ever try this type of repair again…
