What poll?

even though I don’t see any poll… I’ll respond anyways!

I get them at eBay because I haven’t had luck finding them other places (however I’ve asked a few local videogame stores, however only one of them had one VB game and it was one I already had; Mario’s Tennis!) but if I find some good priced ones in good condition outside of the internet or on a different site I might buy VB games from there

Ebay and Tradera (Swedish ebay).

Ok well back in the day (2007) I didnt have ebay or tradera (swedish ebay site) so I went to a swedish site called helgon.net and asked on the forums if someone could buy the vb for me threw tradera and that person would get 50:- (SKR) and someone did

After that I bought 8 games from another Swedish site http://www.kellen.se/virtualboy_index.php

Less then 8 month after I bought the 8 games the flashboy was released and its true I would never have bought the vb games if the flashboy was released but now that I did its nice to have the box art and booklets even if most are in japanese

And in august 2008 I got the flashboy from Krisse 🙂

I also got some old USA power magazine issue with about 8 pages about the VB but dont remember where I got it from

Never seen a VB in any store in Europe, thought I did get my first sega dreamcast from a retro store in Malmö, Sweden

Oh fishpaste!!!

I might of accidentally clicked thread….. well i bought my VB in parts first head unit then controller then marios tennis then the stand and after that i started building up my boxed collection. Yesterday i just got a boxed new sealed copy of virtual league baseball from amazon. I got some of my games from a vintage stock such as Wario Land and Red Alarm

Think the unit came from ebay, was a gift so not 100% sure, then I bought from amazon, cos i had a voucher and wanted red alarm, got some from ebay and then a couple recently from this sites market place.

So far i have bought everything on amazon but tonight i am buying a hard case on ebay. None of the local thrift stores or and game stores that i go to have VB games.

Huh, looks like a lot of people use Amazon. I’m not much of a collector, and I’ve always found Amazon really pricey. I’ve gotten almost all of my stuff from eBay, but because of the way prices shot up in the last couple years, I haven’t bought anything recently. When I bought my first VB, I paid $20 shipped, and it came with the foam eyeshield, an unbroken stand, a controller with battery box, Teleroboxer and Mario’s Tennis. A couple weeks later I got a set of 5 boxed Japanese games for $25 shipped. NOw it seems like you can’t even find an incomplete system for less than $50…

The weirdest place I ever got VB stuff was a free box that a friend found at a garage sale and brought to me. It had a copy of VB Wario Land and a controller with a chewed up cord in it. It also had a Dreamcast arcade stick and 4 regular controllers… I kinda wonder if the rest of those systems were at the garage sale. >:(

I buying them on yahoo or ebay
or in some shops like superpatato or trader in akihabra in tokio

Shops in my country ( the netherlands ) dont sell them.
