I believe not too many people are familiar with the fact that VB Mario’s Tennis does have in-game credits! If I remember correctly, if a player beats tournament mode while having it set to the hardest difficulty, the player is then treated to the game’s credits, with its own original theme! I absolutely adore the music’s colorful, quirky instrumentation, and catchy rhythm. For some bewildering reason, this song is not listed on VB Mario’s Tennis’ soundtrack, under the multimedia page. Can anybody explain the reasoning behind this? Well, anyway, I have applied the MP3 file of the song. Unfortunately, it’s not at the highest quality, as I simply ripped it from a long-play YouTube video of VB Mario’s Tennis. Enjoy, and thank you!

I didn’t know there were credits! Then again, I don’t think I’ve played tournament on the hardest difficulty yet.

You know what they say, “you learn something new everyday.” To be honest, the hard difficulty is not even… -well, too hard. Although, I do find Donkey Kong Jr. to be somewhat tricky to play against. His servings and returns can be a bit unpredictable. One thing I forgot to mention, however. After the credits, the game will reveal a button combination one can use on the title screen. It basically unlocks a special expert mode. From what I remember, it’s not anything that spectacular. However! After beating the special tournament mode, the player is treated to a variation of the in-game credits, including its own song! I find the inclusion of the special expert mode to be pointless. It doesn’t really change much in terms of game-play, graphics, and music, besides the difficulty. I hope the Planet VB administrators include these two missing songs on VB Mario’s Tennis’ soundtrack listing, in the near future!
