It looks like there is an opportunity to get access to this game to dump it. There has been a lot of talk about people wanting unreleased games dumped and it seems like this could be a great opportunity. We would need to find a reputable person with the ability to dump it and $700 USD. What does everyone think about it?

Are people getting their donar carts from a certain place to send in ? I think amazon has the best prices with mario tennis..but it’s all single carts from different sellers πŸ˜› I’d like to get around 9 carts or more (back-ups). If anyone has a good source I’d def. go in with em.

Need to DL that rom ASAP.

And later send some donor cards for repro-carts….

ARGH so much awesome in one thread… *head asplode*

I received the game this morning , what a great job Richard !!. The cleaned up label looks better than I expected , thank you !! .

That’s actually the label Chris did a while back.

AFAIK VirtualJockey is still working on cleaning up the original artwork for a new label.

Looks really sweet! I’m fairly new here, just got my flashboy, got bound high on the way!, as well as on the box/manual list. I was wondering if you (minestorm) are doing a run of these (space pinball) carts, or if you just made the one for Alfissta. If you are doing them, i would love to get one also, thanks!

Just 15 days ago, Richard (MineStorm) posted on this thread that he’ll make Space Pinball carts for anyone and it’s the same deal as Bound High!, so 3 donor carts have to be mailed to him. Thus, I’m sure that the same deal is still on, so if you send him another email saying you also want a Space Pinball cart to be made and also mail him another 3 donor carts, he’ll make your Space Pinball reproduction cart once he gets the donors and will have it out on the way to you.

I also ordered one and am still patiently waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. πŸ™‚

Exactly as Ben said. Send me 3 donor carts and I’ll get a Space Pinball sent to you ASAP.

(don’t forget to include a note with the carts)

Thanks

i want one richard, a will buy 3 cartridge and send to you same for the bound high

i know is late but thank’s by the new room theforce81

You are most welcome! I enjoy it myself as well, I love the VB and the way the activity has risen on PVB, I get to enjoy it a lot more than before.

I hope everyone still enjoys it, in a library that is this small, one such ROM can be a big addition to the library.

Really? and here I thought most people here wanted to help this small VB community not get something rare and release it month later

Ok if you tell us you have something rare like faceball, post proof and then say you will release it once people donate the same ammount it cost you to get the game/demo but just keeping it for no reason is just stupid

I mean sure the VB community is small but how do expect new people to come when either games people make are only made as demos then never worked on again or when you get something rare you keep it for years insteadof just saying you have it and asking for money or something

Is this a reaction to my last post? If so, I would read it carefully again, because this doesn’t make much sense if it is meant to be a reaction to my post.

Doesn’t make much sense, needless dig at homebrew games, demos & collectors, now who would post something like that……

I think akumie is still just a little upset from when he had to wait a little extra time to play Bound High! for free a little more than a year ago. His recent post seems to make large reference to that.

I just wonder if akumie would really be willing to help reimburse the thousands of dollars that would have been necessary for one to have acquired a Faceball prototype cart.

All I need is to play the stock market and I would have faceball in no time πŸ˜›

Well I guess I should be happy at least something is released from time to time

What about that Mario proto you said you had a few months ago. On a thread, you mentioned that you had a VB Mario proto, and then never posted any pictures, clearified which proto it was, or even commented on that thread again. What happened to the game?

You seem to be all for people shareing their protos, why don’t you share yours.

You seem to be all for people shareing their protos, why don’t you share yours.

Oooooooohhhhhh SNAP!

Just so that people who are new to this site don’t have any confusion:

In post #3 of the forum topic: “Do you think a copy of Dragon Hopper is in private hands?” akumie posted:

“well I have a official virtual boy mario demo but will probably never realease it”

Krisse, the site administrator, readily recognized the joke and called his bluff, making the comical comment in post #8:

“Cool! I recently acquired a beta copy of ‘Virtual Boy Barbie in Chocolate-coated marshmallow treats Land’ from a former employee of Activision. Would you be Interested in a trade?”

Obviously, the Barbie game doesn’t exist and Krisse knew that akumie didn’t have some mario demo, which is why he made the silly offer.

Akumie confirmed that he made up having a mario demo in post #41 of the forum topic: “Bound High ROM – buggy, can anyone help?” when he wrote:

“I made a fake thread on this site just to really see if someone really had the rare games because tired of waiting for so many year …”

He was evidently referring to his post about having a mario demo, which Jojobean seemed to take at face value.

akumie continued the gag of having a mario demo in post #20 of the aforementioned Dragon Hopper thread, but newer members took him seriously and got excited for no good reason.

I have a feeling that VBrulez is also well aware of akumie not having a mario demo and is continuing the gag with his recent post, but still, I don’t want any newbies to get their hopes up for no good reason at all.

So are you suggesting that this would not be the best time to tell everyone about how I found a rare VB prototype “Halo: Reach” cartridge in the back of a flea market stall?

LOL. That’s okay, colesonwilson, you can let everyone know about your Halo: Reach prototype.
