Hi, new guy here. I’m looking to buy a Virtual boy that has already had it’s ribbon cable soldered.

Long story short: I failed to repair my virtual boy. I suck with a soldering iron and now its dead. Or at the very least needs new LEDs.

So that’s my tale. I need either:

1) A new pre-soldered VB

or

2) Two pre-soldered LEDs

Are your ribbon cables completely destroyed? Or can they be salvaged somehow?

One of them, maybe. The other one was soldered off because of my incompetence.
