Is this possible? I would like to buy it. Anyone interested in selling it between this prices?
CIB, No cib….i want the cartridge in working order that is all….thanks
It actually just shocked me when I saw what the average loose copy goes for on eBay.
I can’t believe what has happened to VB collecting in the last 6 years, prices have basically doubled for some games (IE: Waterworld) and went half price (IE: Virtual Fishing) for others.
PM sent.

Researching for the series has made me come to this realization too. It’s crazy.

I’m a little confused. Maybe you can help me out. You posted that you were looking to buy a Waterworld cart between $70 and $90, so I fished mine out of storage, checked the condition, and tested it to be sure it worked. I then let you know I’d sell it for $85 – less than the top of your stated range. You then asked me for shipping cost to Israel, so I figured out a method to ship it safely, but cheaply, and mocked up the envelope so I could weigh it and price it. I then let you know I’d include shipping at the $85 price – no extra charge.
You didn’t respond to that message for a couple of days, so I inquired again as to the status. At that point, you said you didn’t really have the money to buy it.
So I’m kind of wondering what this posting was about. Why post an offer for something if you don’t have the money for it?
In all fairness, you’re not the only person on this board who has done this type of thing. Over the years, I’ve had numerous people ask me detailed questions about condition, agree to prices, ask me to work up shipping costs, and then either simply stop responding, or let me know they don’t have any money. That’s a lot of effort to go through when the buyer clearly had no intention of making a purchase. (And just to be clear, I’m ok when we don’t agree on a price. I’m talking about people who agree to pricing, then just walk away.)
I love this board, and I’ve gotten more out of it than I can possibly give back, but frankly, I’m baffled by this behavior. Maybe you can shed some light on it – that’d help me out. Thanks.
I sold mine on here for $80 shipped loose with the manual in mint condition a few months back. I didn’t gouge anyone like they do on ebay. I gave the buyer a good deal on that! I think it’s the same guy that does the solder fixes (NES FREAK)
I can’t explain that behavior, but… I know a guy who is looking to add Waterworld to his collection. 😀
If you still want to sell, let me know. If you’d rather not, no biggie.
Thanks to Splain for restoring my faith in people. He inquired about the price, sent Paypal quickly, and let me know when the package arrived. Kudos to him!
Glad to hear it all worked out. It definitely does suck when people bail on you.
Lol, I did the easy part. Thanks for the great deal on a like-new cart. And for encouraging me to actually give Waterworld a chance!

You were a pleasure to deal with when I purchased Insmouth no Yakata from you too, Neil. I’d recommend you to anyone looking for VB stuff (provided you had stuff to sell lol)
Splain, I think you’ll be able to find some enjoyment in Waterworld. When I got it, I was expecting the worst and honestly I had fun with it. Definitely not the worst game on the console like many say it is (at least IMO)

Well, originally I posted this while having the ability to get it, but then by the time you responded I didn’t. you know, life happens, I’m sorry for your trouble
