-I.------------------------ INTRODUCTION ----------------------------
=======================================================================
This document is a complete walkthrough for the game "Wario Land",
which was released out on the short-lived Virtual Boy system. Although
the system itself was not a favorite of mine, this game is. A nice
little adventure game whose only real flaw is how short it is, which is
why Wario land was the most popular game for the Virtual Boy. Some of
the secret treasures in this game can be hard to find, but this guide
of mine will lead you to each one of them.
=======================================================================
-II.---------------------- THE STORY SO FAR -------------------------
=======================================================================
The story below is taken directly from the official Wario Land
instruction manual.
o_______________________________________________________________o

I, Wario, have an interesting story to tell. One day during
my vacation in the Awazon river basin, I landed my trusty
seaplane, Bulldog, and decide to relax in the shadow of the
beautiful Aldegara Waterfall. While basking in the sun, I
spied some strange creatures with masks entering the water-
fall. This piqued my interest.

I hurried over and followed them into the waterfall. Behind
the falls there was a large cave, and in the back of the cave
there was a vault filled with a glorious mountain of
treasure!!! Some of the masked creatures jumped me, but I
quickly overcame them. "This Treasure is all mine now!", I
thought to myself and rushed in to collect the loot. Suddenly
the floor collapsed and I fell!

I found myself deep within the Earth! I was quite angry and
vowed revenge on these creatures.

I WILL get their treasure!!!

-III.-------------- HOW TO OPERATE THE VIRTUAL BOY ------------------
=======================================================================
The Virtual Boy system on which you play this game is different from
any other video gme system, in that you have a lot of adjustments you
must deal with. Due to both the 3D effect the system creates, and the
piercing red light it shoots into your eyes, this thing may just blind
your for life.
So if the line above didn't make your throw this system out the window;
read on as I go over the basic adjustments you can make to the Virtual
Boy system.
========================
-----IPD Adjustment-----
========================
This control is found on top of the Virtual Boy. It is the grey dial
that is marked with "IPD". The small arrow points to where on the scale
it is currently set. This dial alters the two screens found inside the
system by moving them either out or in. Turning it to the right moves
the two screens closer together, and turning it to the left moves the
two screens farther apart. Look into the lenses of this system during
the first game screen, and you should be able to see four small
squares, each in one corner of your view. If you can't see all of them
clearly, then you must use the IPD Adjustment dial until the distance
between the two screens matches the distance between your eyes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
==========================
-----Focus Adjustment-----
==========================
The Focus Adjustment is found on top of the system. It is the sliding
dial you see just below the IPD Adjustment, and has two small arrows
pointing to the right and left. This dial focuses the image you see so
that it is as clear as you can get it. Usually the dial is best set in
the middle, but sometimes you may need to slide it in either the right
or left direction in order to get the clearest image. You should be
able to clearly see the picture, and the edge should be sharp.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
====================================
-----Automatic Pause Adjustment-----
====================================
This is a scary little feature. Due to the strain on your eyes that is
a result of playing the game, you must stop and take a short break
every so often if you want to avoid doing any permanent vision damage.
The Automatic Pause will cause the game to pause your progress every
20 minutes, and remind you to stop and take a rest. This feature is
always set to ON when you start up this system, and Nintendo strongly
suggests that you keep it that way. The Automatic Pause can be turned
off just as easily as a normal pause; just press the start button.
Unlike the other two adjustments above, the Automatic Pause can only be
changed during gameplay.

======================
----The Enemy List----
======================
Your treasure-hunting adventure as Wario is filled with all kinds of
creatures trying to stop you. The list below details what you're up
against.
==~Mask Guy~==
A shy little animal who hides behind a piercing sharp mask. Either
barge into him from behind, or hop on him. You may find some of these
guys to be without their trademark masks, in which case you may safely
barge into their faces as well. He is also vulnerable to fire attacks.
And if you run (but not barge) into his back, then you will temporarily
knock his mask off to one side.
==~Flaming Mask Guy~==
This guy looks similar to the normal Mask-Guy, except the nose of this
mask is sporting a small flamethrower. His weakenesses and stranegths
are otherwise exactly like the normal Mask-Guy.
==~Unmasked Guy~==
This enemy, as his name suggests, is just the unmasked version of the
enemy above. Usually he is found be smacking the mask off of a
Mask-Guy, but other times he is just found this way. The only real
difference it makes is that without a mask, you can barge into his
face.
==~Bomb Bat~==
An annoying little enemy that floats up above Wario, and drops spiked
bombs down upon his head. This enemy can be destroyed by fire if you
have the power-up, but if not, then you can bounce on an enemy and
throw it at the Bat. However, usually it is easier to just avoid him.
==~ChainSaw Fish~==
A twist on your average swordfish, this guy has a power-tool edge. His
chainsaw nose is best avoided rather than confronted. Watch out for the
charges he will make at you. Swim underneath him, and float up to hit
his belly with your head. This is the easiest way to defeat him.
==~Chippy~==
A little forrest creature equipped with a supply of bombs, which he
enjoys sending you way. Jump on him after he throw his bomb at you, and
be sure to stand clear of the blasts from his projectiles.
==~Dark Tortoise~==
An angry little turtle armed with a sharpened hat. Wait for him to fire
his projectile at you, and then jump on him before it comes back at
you.
==~Honey Bee~==
An angry little honey bee, who drops either watermelons or bombs on top
of Wario's hard head. The bombs are only there to hurt you, but at
times, those watermelons are used to progress through a level of the
game.
==~Vase Based~==
An angry little honey pot, that holds a little guy armed with a pair of
spears. The spear guy will pop out anytime this pot is not sitting on
its bottom correctly. If you can get it sitting upright, you will
recieve a Large Coin.
==~Mastah Mosquito~==
Another enemy who attacks from above; this little pest attacks with a
sharpened nose. The best attack is a fire-dragon blast, so you can keep
him at a distance.
==~Stinging StingRays~==
These are small, black enemies that look like a fish with wings. They
are found only in the water that moves up; NOT in the normal water that
you just float around in. These enemies can be destroyed with fire
attacks, but it is just as easy to avoid them completely.
==~Skele Spider~==
A large spider who got squashed some years ago. These arachnoid remains
travel around on the ceiling, and try to drop down on poor unsuspecting
Wario. The best way to destroy them is by waiting for them to drop down
onto the floor, and then attack them before they jump back up.
==~Coo Coo~==
A bird that only appears from inside a cucoo clock, who will drop bombs
on Wario only when the time isn't right.
==~Blade Face~==
A mysterious mask that has sharp knives along its right and left side.
Luckily, their pattens are easily memorized and avoided.
==~Thorn Ball~==
Yet another angry little honey pot. He shoots spiked balls at Wario,
and is better avoided, than fought.
==~Octopus Plant~==
This is a small enemy, with a head that opens up to send out a flurry
of annoying tiny enemies. If you want to kill him by barging into him,
you must wait for his head to open up. But he is vurnerable to fire
attacks at any time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
====================
----The Pick-Ups----
====================
==~~Small Coin~~==
This item looks like a circle with a diamond in the center. Pick up as
many of these as you can get your hands on, and use them to play one of
the in-between stages mini-games.
==~~Large Coin~~==
This coins looks like a larger circle with a crown in the middle. This
coin has the same value as 20 small coins.
==~~Small Heart~~==
These look like small hearts, and are found inside both enemies and
blocks. Collect 100 of these items to earn an extra life.
==~~Large Heart~~==
These are not as commonly seen as the small hearts, because these are
10x their value.
==~~Diamond~~==
This looks like a large diamond, and will give Wario an extra life if
he can find one.
==~~Treasures~~==
There are 10 of these items in total to be found. There is one in every
stage of this game, except for the Boss Battle Stages. These items are
neccessary if you want to see the special ending to this game.
==~~Elevator Key~~==
At the end of every stage is a elevator, which will take you up to the
next stage in the game. But you must search each stage for the key to
that elevator.
==~~Mini Boss Key~~==
This is the key to the elevator that follows each boss battle. It can
only be found in levels 4, 8, and 12; and can only be collected by
successfully destroying the mini-boss of that level.
==~~Viking Helmet~~==
This helmet turns Wario into Bull Wario.
==~~Onion~~==
This turns Small Mario into Normal Wario, and it turns Normal Wario
into Bull Wario.
==~~Eagle Statue~~==
This turns Wario into Eagle Wario, but if you are already Sea Dragon
Wario, then you will become King Dragon Wario.
==~~Dragon Crystal~~==
This turns Wario into Sea Dragon Wario, but if you are already Eagle
Wario, then you will become King Dragon Wario.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
======================
----The Mini Games----
======================
As you travel in the elevator that takes you from level to level, you
can take a break and play the mini-games.
==~~The Coin Game~~==
In this game, you decide how much money you will bet. The bigger the
bet you make, the more money you can win, but also the more money that
you'll risk losing.
==~~The Heart Game~~=
In this game, you will first decide how many coins you are willing to
spend. Then you will see a line of jump pads appear below you. You can
use those pads to jump over into the background. Your goal is to jump
back and fourth between the two lines of pads, as you try to collect
as many diamonds and hearts as you can get. Just be sure to avoid the
flapping bats that are also on the line. The more coins you pay to play
means the faster it will go, and the more bats will be on the line.

=======================================================================
-V.------------------------ THE WALKTHROUGH -------------------------
=======================================================================
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--- ---
--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 1
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
First, you should begin walking to the right, and stop when you reach
the first swinging spiked ball. Wait for it to be far into the
background, and then run past it. Up ahead is a small pit filled with
spikes, that has another one of those spiked balls swinging over it. So
just like before you must wait for this one to be far in the
background, and then jump over the little pit. Do this one last time,
and then you can continue through the doorway on the right, and into
the next area of this level.
Jump up to hit that [?] in front of you and pick up the coins from the
top. Then jump up onto the platform to the right and barge into that
next enemy. This will earn you another coin. do the same to the next
enemy as you continue to the right, and jump up to break the three
bricks above. Collect the coin and heart that fall down, and then you
can go over and break the next line of bricks. Then hit the two [?],
and pick up the Onion from atop the second one. This will turn you into
Bull Wario.
Continue walking to the right, and you will pass underneath a Coin
Cloud just before you reach the next enemy. But rather than barge into
these next two enemies, you should hop on them. Then pick up their
bodies, and jump up into the small cloud that floats above. For each
enemy you put into the cloud, you will get a Large Coin. Just past them
are a couple of large bricks. Barge into them both to pick up a couple
of Large Hearts. Just past them are a couple of bricks as well as a [?]
in the floor below. Stomp the two small bricks to clear them out of the
way, and then barge into the [?] to get a Large Coin.
Hit the [?] up to the right, and pick up the Onion if you have already
lost your Bull Wario. If not, then you can't pick it up. Either way you
can now jump over the next small lava pit. Quickly jump up onto the
platform on the right to avoid the Bomb-Bat overhead. Crouch down and
walk underneath the next [?]. Hit that [?] and collect your Large Coin.
Continue walking to the right, and barge into the next two enemies. Up
ahead, you can see a couple of Jump-Pads. Use them to leap over into
the background.
Once you land back there, you can break the large brick to your left to
get a Large Heart. Then start walking to the right, breaking the bricks
over your head as you go. Just past them you will come to another
Jump-Pad, that is followed shortly by a set of six bricks. Barge into
these bricks and you will reveal a door. Enter into that door, which
will take you into the room that contains the Treasure to this Level.
Pick up the treasure sitting on the bench, and then jump back out of
this room.
Use the Jump-Pad to the left of that door, and you'll hop back into the
foreground. Pick up the key sitting on that platform, and then use the
Jump-Pad to get back into the background. Walk to the right as far as
you can, and then use one of those next two Jump-Pads to leap back into
the foreground. Start walking to the right, and hit the next three
bricks over your head. Pick up the two pick-ups that drop down, and
then you can keep going.
Hop up onto the black platform, and use it to safely get across the
lava pit below. Run to the right after you drop from the platform, and
underneath the next two Bomb-Bats. Just past him, and inbetween the
next two bridges, is a single small brick. Break that brick to reveal a
Jump-Pad. Use that pad to jump into the background, and there you can
collect some coins. Then jump back into the foreground, and start
walking to the right again. Break the large brick above your head, and
you can get a Large Heart. Walk into the elevator to the right, and
you'll head up into the next level.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--- ---
--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 2
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
Walk out of the elevator, and jump up over the large bunch of bricks
in front of you. Let the skeleton drop down from the ceiling, and then
barge into him. Up ahead are three doors, and hiding behind the middle
one is an enemy. Walk up to that door, and quickly barge into that guy
before he arms his pitchfork. Walk over to the right, and you will find
a [?] between a couple of small bricks. Break the bricks, hit the [?],
and pick up the Viking Helmet to become Bull Mario. Now turn back
around and go right. As Bull Mario you are able to break those large
bricks back at the begining and get a Large Coin and Heart.
Turn around and start walking to the right. Eventually you will see
a group of bricks in the background that are inbetween a couple of
waterfalls. In the foreground you can see a single small brick sitting
between a couple of small crates. Stomp down on that brick, and then
the crate below it to reveal a Jump-pad that you can use it to leap
into the background. Destroy all of the bricks back there and you can
collect a lot of coins and hearts. Use the Jump-Pad hidden in the small
brick on the right to get back over onto the foreground.
Hop on the Mask-Guy, and then barge into him to recieve a coin. As you
walk to the right you will come to another [?]. Jump up to hit it, and
you can pick up an Onion if you need it. There is an enemy hiding in
the door to the right, so approach it carefully and barge into him
quickly. Go just a little farther right and you will come to a Warp
Pipe. Go down that pipe, and you'll be taken into an underground room.
Down in this room are a couple of Mask-Guys. You can kill these guys
one of two ways; barge into them from behind, or hop on them and then
stomp them. Either way, be sure you kill them both. Collect the three
Small Hearts that are on the ground, and then go over to the door on
the right. On the floor, and just to the left of that door, are three
crates lying on the floor. You can stomp down on the middle one to
break it and get a Large Coin. Then enter into that door on the right,
and you will be taken into another underground room.
In this next room is a Skele-Spider and a Mask-Guy. Kill both of these
and pick up the hearts that are on the ground. Then smash the three
crates that are in the same place that they were in the last room, and
then go up the pipe on the right. Now, you are in the background of the
level. Walk to the right, and break all of the small bricks that you
pass underneath. The last one you come to, contains the Key to the
elevator. Walk past those two Jump-Pads and jump up onto the platform
that runs behind the two waterfalls on the right. Over there you can
stomp the small bricks below you collect both Large Coins and Large
Hearts. Then go back over to the left, and use the Jump-Pads.
Once you land back in the foreground, you will see four Mask-Guys to
your left. Hop on all of them and throw their bodies into the Coin
Clouds. Collect your prizes, and then go right. Barge into the [?]
sitting on the ground to get a Large Coin, and then hit the next [?]
to pick up an Onion, if you need it. Slowly approach the door directly
to your right and barge right into the enemy that bursts out. Break
that next small brick to recieve a Small Heart, and then you will come
to a black staircase.
Barge into the large black brick that makes up the middle portion of
that staircase, and enter into the door you just revealed. Pick up the
extra life to your right, and then jump back out of this room. Now hop
up to your right, and be careful of the Mask-Guys as you walk to the
right. When you drop back down to the ground, you will have to barge
into another enemy lucking behind the door. Jump up to hit that [?] and
pick up the Viking Statue if you need it. Just to the right of that you
see some crates that make up the floor. Break the middle crate to
reveal a Jump-Pad and use it to take you into the background.
Pick up the items above your head, and then jump back over into the
foreground. Walk to the right, and kill the enemy behind the next door.
Enter into the doorway that is just past it, and you will be in the
third area of this level. Kill the Mask-Guy, as well as the three
Skele-Spiders in this room, and then go over to the floor near where
you entered this area. You see four crates along the ground, and hidden
underneath the 2nd one from the left is a Jump-Pad. Use that Jump-Pad
to leap into the background, and break all off those small bricks above
your head. Get all of the items and then jump back onto the foreground.
Now walk to your right and barge into that [?]. Jump up onto it and
pick up the Dragon Crystal, which will turn you into Sea Dragon Wario.
Use your fire breath to burn through the blocks marked with flames, and
then go down the pipe. Pick up the hearts in this underground room, and
be sure to use your fire to break the bricks underneath the pipes. Now
go up the pipe on the left.
When you come back up on the other side; start walking to the right and
pick up all of those Small Hearts. Then use the Jump-Pad to get all of
that stuff over in the background, and then jump back over here. Use
your fire breath on the six blocks to the right. Enter into the door
you just created, and pick up the Treasure for this level. Then exit
this room, and break the two blocks above you. Use you fire breath to
clear out a block just to the right of that gap, and you should be able
to jump out of here.
Go right, and you step through the doorway that leads into the next
area of this level. Then continue right, and you will eventually come
to the Elevator that takes you out of this level.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--- ---
--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 3
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
This level finds Wario in water, rather than standing on solid ground.
Float toward the [?] up ahead, and hit it. Now touch the Dragon Crystal
to become Dragon Wario. Use your fire breath to destroy the small brick
to your right and left, and then kill the incoming Chain-Saw Fish. Now
turn back around and float over to the elevator you came in on. Use
your firebreath on the large black brick above it to recieve a Large
Coin. Turn back around and start swimming to the right. You will swim
over a small group of large black bricks. Use your fire breath to
destroy the last two bricks and pick up some Large Coins.
As you continue floating to the right, you will have to burn through a
couple more Chain-Saw Fish. Then use your fire breath on the two fire
blocks you see up above. Use your head to break the large black brick
that is just above that, and then float straight up into a secret room.
In there you will see a small fish floating around above the [?] and
bricks. This fish can hurt you when he appears in the foreground, so
you must burn him before he gets you. Hit all of the [?] and break all
of the bricks. Now drop back down the hole and into the main area of
this level.
Continue right, and use your fire breath on the large black brick that
is near the ceiling to collect a Large Coin. Hit the [?] to get another
Large Coin, and then float into the pipe to the right. From here you
float all the way to the right, and hit those two [?] to get some
Coins. Float up above that and then swim over to the left. Use your
fire breath to stun the Large-Mouth Fish for a while, and then float
past him and go right. Use your fire breath to do the same to the next
Large-Mouth Fish, and then continue right.
Up above you is another Large-Mouth Fish. You can't get in the position
to blast this one with fire, so instead you have to swim up past him
in between chomps. Next swim over to the left, and turn to blast
through those three fire blocks. Collect all of the coins, and then
float back up. Above you is a trio of small bricks. Break the brick on
the right, and float up and to the right to avoid that next Large-Mouth
Fish. Then float over to the pipe to the left, and use it to enter into
the next part of this level.
This next part is pretty easy. There are jets of water that try to push
you down to the floor, sometimes into small sets of spikes. So you can
just try to stay up as high as you can, and use your fire breath to
kill any Chain-Saw Fish that get in your way. Go through the pipe that
you'll eventually come to over on the left, and you'll enter into the
next part of the level. From here you can float straight ahead and burn
through those next two large black bricks you see ahead. Pick up your
Large Coin and then wait for the right moment to swim up past the
Large-Mouth Fish that is directly above you. Break the three small
bricks that are blocking your path, and swim up into the passage to the
left.
In here you will find a long line of [?]. Swim underneath to hit each
one of them, kill the fish floating around above it, and then collect
all of the items and the elevator Key. Now swim back out of this room
the same way you came in, and then swim over to the right and into the
large pipe. In this next room you will find another collection of small
bricks and [?]. Use the water jet to carry you down underneath them,
and be careful to kill the fish as you collect all of these items. Then
continue right. Just past the next water jet are a couple of large
black bricks. Use your head to burst through them, use your fire breath
to destroy the fire blocks, and then go up the large pipe above.
Up there you will find another hidden room. Pick up the extra life to
your left, and then break all of those small bricks and collect the
little prizes. Then you can go back down the same way you came. From
here you can swim through the pipe you see over there on the right to
be taken into the next area of this level. Jump up onto the blocks that
are sitting above the water, and go over to the right. Climb up the
ladder. Then walk over to the left, and proceed up that next ladder.
At the top of that ladder, you will find a single flame block to your
right. Use your firebreath to break that block, and then crouch down to
crawl in between the two long black bars. Start crawling over to the
right, but you must be careful to avoid the three spiked balls ahead.
Past them is a hole leading into the right wall. Enter into that hole
to find yourself in another hidden room.
Once inside this room you can see a large line of [?]. Walk all the way
over to the right, and then drop down into the water. Now hit all of
the [?] by swimming between them, and then blocks that hold the spikes.
Now swim back over to the right, collect up all of the items, and then
go back through the doorway on the left. now carefully crawn over to
the left, and you find yourself back at the ladder you used earlier.
Jump up and hit the black ceiling directly above that ladder to get a
couple of coins.
Next, jump up over to the right and hit that [?]. Pick up the Viking
Helmet to become Bull Wario. Then walk back over to the ladder to your
left, and crawl down to the large black brick directly below it. Now,
once you are standing on the large black brick, use your stomp to cruch
that brick and reveal a door. Go through that door to find the Treasure
for this level. Jump back through that door to re-enter this level. Hop
up onto the platform to the right, and over to the elevator. Use the
Key to open the elevator shaft, and use it to travel to the first Mini-
Boss battle of the game.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--- ---
--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 4
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
Take a few steps out of the elevator shaft, and then use a flying-barge
to ram into the large brick above the elevator. Pick up the Large Heart
you just found, and then go right. Like in all of the Mini-Boss
Battles, you must first fight a weak enemy just to gain access to the
battle room. But since this is the first Mini-Boss, it isn't difficult
at all this time around. Walk up to him, and you'll here the music
change. This means he is about to attack, so get ready. Let him shoot
up into the air, and then run to one direction. Wait for this little
guy to pound into the ground, and then you can jump on the flashing
button you see temporarily exposed. He will then slide back over to his
starting position. Do this one more time, and he will fade away to
reveal a Jump-Pad. Use that pad to enter into the Mini-Boss Battle
room.
Once you step into this room you will see a huge lava pit before you.
Over on the other side is a large open skull, which will soon hold the
Mini-Boss. When he finally does waddle himself into view, you will see
a small ball above his head start to spin. So start running back and
forth across your platform, and jump up as soon as you hear a couple
of beeps. These beeps are the cue that he will fire it at you; but if
you are airborne he can't hit you. Let him do this a couple more times,
and then he will skip across the lava and over to you.
Now he will once again start attacking you with his ball-and-chain.
Except this time it will be a much slower and lazier swing, which is a
little easier to avoid. Wait for his spike to smack into the ground in
front of him, and then jump over and land on his head. He will be
stunned for a moment, and then hop back over to where he started this
fight. Once again he will try to attack you from afar, by using his
long-reaching chain. Run back and fourth across the foreground, and use
the sound cues to tell you when to jump. After the third long range
attack he will again skip across the lava pit and over into the
foreground.
His attacks will be a little quicker now, but not much more difficult
to manuever around. Score another hit on his head to send him back over
into the background. Now his attacks are as fast as they get. Just like
before, you must keep moving and make use of the sound effects to alert
you of an incoming attack. Let him fire three times, and he will hop
over to you for one last time. Wait for his swinging ball-and-chain to
be down into the ground, and then hop on him one last time to finish
the job. Wait just a few seconds for it to start raining coins, and
then start your little collection frenzy. After that you will be taken
back to outside the battle room, where you will recieve the Boss Key.
Use that key on the elevator to your right, and travel up the shaft and
into the next level.

===============
---------
Hit that [?] right in front of you, and pick up the Onion to become
Bull Wario. now begin walking to the left, and ram into that Chippy
before he fires a bomb. Now start running towards the left, and barge
into the large black brick that stands in your path. Kill the two Mask-
Guys in this room, and hit all of the [?]. Pick up the Eagle Statue to
become Eagle Wario. Jump back through the door in the middle of this
room, and then once again start walking to the left. Barge into the
[?] you see lying on the ground ahead to get a Dragon Crystal, which
will transform you into King Dragon Wario. Use your fire blasts to kill
any chickens that get in your way, as you go over and walk into the big
pipe leading into the left wall.
Walk up to the ladder in front of you. Quickly jump up and shoot a fire
blast at the flying Chippy that appears to your left, and then climb up
the ladder. Pick up the three coins above your head, and then hop over
onto the small ladder to your left. From here you can blast the Chippys
to your right and left, and then hop over onto the small ladder to your
right. Climb up to the top of that ladder, and then up onto the one the
is directly above it. Use the blocks to your left to get over to the
big pipe above, but don't go through it before you collect the coins
all lined up to your right. Use your wings to fly over and collect them
all, and then go into the pipe on the left.
As soon as you walk out the other side of this pipe, you can jump up
and fire a blast to kill that next Chippy. Then walk up to the flame
block in front of you. Crouch down low to the ground, and then fire off
a fire blast. This will not only clear that flame block, but make a few
more appear. Collect your coins, and then start using this technique to
make it safely over the spikes below. Then kill that next Chippy above,
and hit the next two [?]. Pick up the smalll heart that just popped up,
as well as the Onion if you need it.
Pick up as many coins you can as you continue to the left, and kill the
Chippys that drop down from above. When you come to a large black
square in your path, you can use your fire breath to destroy it and
enter into the newly revealed door. Inside you will find a bunch of
items you could use. Then jump back out the door you just came in
through, and walk to the left. There is another line of spikes below,
but you can get over them by using a fire blast to reveal hidden
blocks. Walk across that new line of blocks, and kill that chicken
before he attacks.
Jump up onto the collection of tiny ladder ahead, and walk on top of
them rather then climb across them. Use your fire to destroy any
obstacals you find in your path. When the "ladder floor" below you
comes to and end, there will be a Chippy just up ahead. Use a fire
blast to get him out of the way, and then use your wings to fly over
the spikes below. Enter into the pipe you find just past those spikes
to enter into the next area of the level.
Once you step back out of the pipe, you will see a line of Small Coins
above you. Jump up and fly across that line to collect all of the
coins, and you will land right next to the elevator (which you don't
yet have a key to). So instead climb down the ladder to your right,
and hop over to the Large Heart to the left. Then drop straight down to
land on a platform that is a ways down. Use a stomp to pound into the
ground, and it will stun most of the Chippys that are in this room.
Now walk over to the right until your drop down off of this platform.
Go left underneath the platform, and carefully dispose of any Chippys.
Hit the [?] over there in the corner to get an Eagle Statue, which will
turn you into Eagle Wario (if you need it).
Now go over to the right, and climb up the ladder you see up above you.
At the top of that ladder is a small platform sitting just underneath
a [?]. Hit that to reveal the Elevator Key to this level. You could
take that Key over to the Elevator now, if you were really in a hurry
to leave, but I suggest you stick around so you can collect a lot more
stuff. Speaking of which, you should now go ahead and climb down to the
bottom of the ladder. From there you can fly over to the left, and go
in between those two blocks. Now if you destroy the wall to your left,
then you will find the room that holds the Hidden Treasure for this
level.
Now hop back out of this room, and drop back down to the floor. To your
right is a pipe, which you use to enter the next room. Now walk up to
the pinacle of the wooden structure ahead, and use a stomp to break the
platform directly above the Jump-Pad. If you need a power-up, then you
can fly over to the right to get a Dragon Crystal.
Use that Jump-pad to leap into the background. Break the small bricks
to your left, and then walk over to the right. Break the large black
square that sits in the right corner, and enter into the newly-revealed
doorway. Kill the Mask-Guy to your right, and then pick up all of the
Small Hearts. Now use your fire blasts to destroy the wall to your
left, and walk over to the very edge of the spiked floor in front of
you. Now jump up and fire a blast to your left. This will reveal a pair
of blocks that you can fly over to. Just past them is an extra life.
Then fly back over to the right, walk underneath the remainder of that
wall, and enter back through the doorway.
Run over to the left, and use the Jump-Pad to get back into the
foreground. Then walk over to the right and enter into the pipe you'll
eventually come to. If you need a power-up you can stand on the other
side of this pipe, and jump up to reveal a block with a Dragon Crystal.
You can go up there and get that crystal, and then go over to the right
and get the Eagle Statue. Then use the Jump-Pad that is just to the
right of where you got the Dragon Crystal, and you'll leap over into
the background. If you use your wings to fly over to the right, you
will eventually come to a wall. Blast through the large black brick
in that wall to reveal a door, which holds a room with a few items you
can collect. Then jump back out of this hidden room.
The background in this area of the level is full of items to pick up;
most of which are in plain view. So if you find it worth the time it
takes, then get to it. Besides the coins and hearts just sitting
around, there are also a few hidden in the thin black walls that
seperate the background into three sections. But that's not all. If you
climb to the top of the wooden structure that is in the left corner of
the foreground, then you can fly over to a tall pillar that is just to
the right of the bed of spikes. Land on that pillar, and then fly over
to the next one over to the right. Then fly over to the right one more
time, and you'll be standing on top of a line of small bricks.
Use your stomp to pound through each one, which will get you a Large
Coin every time. At the bottom you must crouch down to crawl underneath
the blocks directly to your left.
So when you've got all you want, you can use one of the Jump-Pads to
get back into the foreground. Then take the pipe to the left to enter
into a room you were in earlier. Run over the top of the wooden
structure, and enter into the pipe that is past it, which takes you
back into the Elevator room. Climb up the ladder on the right, and at
the top you can fly over to the left. Climb up that ladder, and it will
lead right up to the Elevator. Use the Key you got earlier to unlock
the elevator shaft, which will take you up into the next level.

===============
---------
Jump into the water in front of you, and press LEFT on the Control Pad
to fight the current. As you swim forward, jump up to hit the [?] and
get the Onion to become Bull Wario. Hop on the Dark Tortoise you see
ahead. Then quickly jump over to the left before the Bomb-Bat flies
into the foreground. Stay up near the surface of the water as you
travel to the left, and jump over the two small waterfalls before they
draw you down onto the spikes. Just past the second waterfall is
another Dark Tortoise. Jump on him, and then stomp down on the brick
below him to reveal a couple of Large Hearts.
Continue to the left by swimming underneath the thin wall, and past the
Bat-Bomb overhead. Jump up onto the platform just past him, and walk
all the way to the left edge. Wait for the next Bat-Bomb to drop his
explosive, and then swim underneath him and over to the next platform.
If you need it, you can hit the [?] to your left to get a Viking
Helmet. Jump into the water to your left, and swim along the bottom to
pick up the coins. This will lead to a couple of small bricks that are
just before the next platform. Stomp down onto these bricks to reveal
a pipe. Enter into that pipe to be taken into a hidden area of this
level.
Down in this room you will find a bunch of enmies to your right. Jump
up over those enemies, and barge straight into the large brick below
the [?]. Then jump up to hit that [?], which will reveal a cloud. Now
jump on each one of those enemies to stun them, and throw them up into
the cloud to get a bunch of coins. Next, use the Jump-Pads over on the
right to leap into the background. Once you land back there, you can
hit the two [?] to your left to get a couple of Large Hearts. Then walk
over to the left, getting the coins from the air as you go, and enter
into the doorway.
Over to your left you can see one of those Mask-Guys. Jump up to break
the bricks that are directly above your head, and you will have enough
room to jump up and onto the Mask-Guy when he gets over there. Now
start breaking all of the overhead bricks in this room. You will stun
a bunch of the Mask-Guys in this room, which will leave their bodies
temporarily harmless on the ground. Throw the bodies of the stunned,
at the others to clear them both out. Break all the bricks overhead to
pick up any and all coins and hearts. Then enter into the doorway on
the left.
Barge into the little guys to your right, and then hit both of the [?]
to the right. Pick up both the Eagle Statue, and the Sea Dragon, to
become King Dragon Wario. Use your fire blasts to clear out the flame
blocks that have formed a barrier, and then jump up into the large pipe
above. Kill the Dark Tortoise to the left using a fire blast, and then
do the same to that next Bomb-Bat. Continue to the left, but ignore the
coins and hearts you see down in the water. There is almost no chance
of getting them without dying. Stand on the platform that is to the
left of the next [?] below you, and shoot a fire blast into the brick
to your left. Destroy as much brick as you can, and then swim down
there and pick up the coins and hearts.
Continue to the left, and break the brick directly above the doorway
before you enter into it, and into the next area of this level. Right
in front of you are a couple of different kinds of water. Drop down
into the lower half of the water, and use fire blasts to kill the two
ChainSaw-Fish down there. Then swim over to the left, and blast through
the bricks and flame blocks. Float up into the pipe you just revealed,
and you'll enter into a hidden room. While standing on top of the pipe,
you must fire off a fire blast to your left to clear out the flame
blocks. Then walk over to the left and jump on the big button. Now turn
around and go back down the pipe you came in through.
Swim out from below the pipe and head to the top. Jump onto the
platform on the left that is exactly where the water changes, and fire
off a fire blast to clear out the brick. Then walk into the hole you
just made. Ingore all of the dangers below by using your wings to fly
over them all. Go from small platform to platform, and eventually you
will come to a heart, and a dead-end. Shoot a fire blast to your left,
and you'll make yourself a little pathway. On the other side you will
find a couple of hearts, as well as an extra life, and some power-ups
that you don't really need at this point. Then swim back over to the
left, and walk back through the hole you came in through.
Jump up onto the small brick that is just above you, and shoot any
Sting-Rays you see in the water. Now jump into the water to the right,
and start swimming straight up the water. Make you way over to the
right, and onto the platform. Break all in the line of small bricks,
and then jump up onto the pipe they were right next to. Now go down
into that pipe. Kill the Dark Tortoise you see over on the right, and
then walk over in that direction. Drop down the last waterfall you come
to, and then start fire blasting each of the three Dark Tortises. Climb
up the waterfall you just dropped down, and then you can fly across to
the left and pick up the coins and hearts. Then you can enter into the
hole over on the left.
Start jumping to the left from one [?] to another, killing each
Bomb-Bat that you see in front of you. Then, when you reach the fourth
[?], you can drop into the water and start hitting the [?] from
underneath. Next jump up onto those [?] to pick up your items, which
include the Elevator Key. Then go back through the hole over on the
right. Continue right, until you hit the wall. Now swim up the thick
waterfall all the way to the top platform. Once you there, you can walk
over to the left and up the pipe.
Jump up onto the black platform that is above the pipe, and kill the
Sting-Ray up there. Then turn to the left and shoot off a fire blast to
reveal a hidden block. Get the Large Coin from the [?] above, and then
swim over to the block you just revealed. Swim even farther over to the
left, and swim along the very left edge of the water. Keep swimming up
and you'll come to a large black brick overhead. Break that brick with
your head, and then drop down onto the button below you, which will set
off a chain reaction to clear out the large black bricks.
Walk over to the Jump-Pads to your right, and leap into the background.
Enter into the doorway, pick up your treasure, and then leap back out.
Use the Jump-Pad to leap back into the foreground, and then you can go
swimming back up the water. Make your way up to the left, and then walk
into that pipe. Swim up to the ceiling of this room, and then continue
to the left. Let the current take you down, but pull yourself up when
you are underneath the two [?]. Hit them both, and then swim the rest
of the way to the right to get the four coins. Then go back up into the
same current you used last time, except hold UP on the Control Pad to
keep from being drug down. Enter into the tube you see over on the
left.
Once you are in the next room, then you can swim up into the current
above you. Let it carry you through a series of coins, and then down
to the left corner of the room. Once you are there, you can turn to
face the right and shoot some fire blasts. This will clear out a couple
of flame blocks. Now quickly pull yourself down that hole to enter into
a hidden room. In here, you will find a bunch of items along with a
spike. Swim up into the middle current, which will take you over to the
left. But drop down before you hit the spiked ball, and go over to get
the extra life to your left. Then go up to the top current, and it will
take you through a line of coins. Go up the hole in the upper-right
corner to re-enter the other room.
From here you can swim straight up, and into the current you used
earlier. Except this time, you must pull up BEFORE you reach the bottom
current, and enter into the pipe that is just above the floor. Walk
over to the left, and you will find the Elevator to the next level. But
before you go up it, you can crouch down and shoot a fire blast into
the line of [?] to your right. You will want to get those last few
coins and hearts before you enter into the elevator shaft, and up to
the next level.

===============
---------
First, hit the [?] in front of you and pick up the Onion. Now, as Bull
Wario, you can jump onto the elevator and stamp on the bricks below to
pick up a couple of Large Coins. Then begin walking to the left. Up
ahead is a large sand pit. Jump into the sand pit, and then quickly up
onto the small platform before you sink down. Now wait for the spiked
enemy ahead to be down, and then jump up over him and onto the next
platform. Do the same regarding the next one, and then you'll come to a
large brick sitting in your path. Barge right into that brick to reveal
a hidden doorway, which will take you into a hidden room.
Jump over to the left side of that Mask-Guy, and barge into his back
to knock him away. Hit that [?] to get an Eagle statue and turn into
Eagle Wario. Now barge into the four large bricks that make up the wall
to your left, and get the coins and hearts. Now walk back over to the
right and hop through that doorway again. Now that you're back outside,
you can see another large sand pit to your left. Since there are no
platforms to land on, you must jump high up in the sky and start flying
to the left. Hit the [?] that is on the first platform you come to, and
pick up the Dragon Crystal to become King Dragon Wario. Now jump up on
that [?], and you can fly over to the next platform. Just make sure you
don't accidently fly past it.
Wait here a moment, and you will see a black tornado with eyes is down
below you. If you stand on the top of these twisters, then you can be
protected from the dangerous floor below. So jump down onto the first
one, and let it carry you to the left. Use a couple of fire blasts to
take care of the small bricks ahead, and then carefully walk over onto
the next one. Then go over to the next tornado, and it will take you
underneath a [?]. Jump up onto that [?], and then up onto the platform
that is alongside it. From here, you can jump up and fly over to the
left, and onto the next platform.
Walk over to the left edge of this platform, and fly over to the left
again until you land near a large mass of sand. Directly to the right
of that sand monster are six small blocks. If you break the bottom
block on each line, it will allow that tornado to blow over and destroy
the sand monster. Enter into the door that was just revealed to you. In
this room you will see a couple of Mask-Guys charging into you from the
left. Hop onto each of them, and then put their stunned bodies into the
cloud above to get a couple of coins. Then walk over to the left and a
Mastah-Mosquito will appear. Jump up to hit this guy from underneath,
and then take his body up into that cloud to get another coin. Then,
enter into the doorway you see over on the left.
Wait right here for a second, so that the Mastah-Mosquito will get
close enough for you to kill him. Then face to the left and shoot off
a fire blast to clear out a couple of bricks. Stand just to the left
of the doorway you came in through, and jump straight up to reveal a
hidden block. Then jump up onto the two blocks just above and to the
right of it, and then fly over to the left. Fire off a flame blast to
destroy the flame blocks, and then fly back up there to enter into the
doorway.
Stomp on the small brick that is just below and to the left of the
doorway. Step down to where the brick used to lay, crouch down, and
shoot a fire blast to the right. Crawl along the path you just cleared
for yourself. Carefully destroy the two Mask-Guys, and collect all of
the items in here. Then you can crawl back over and go through that
doorway to the left. Now fly over to the right, and land on the two
blocks you stood on earlier. Stand on top of the left block and jump up
ro reveal a hidden block. Break the brick that is just above that, and
then get up onto the block. Jump up and fire off a fire blast to kill
those two Mask-Guys. Jump up onto the platform they were on, and you
can hit those [?] to get some items.
Then drop back down the hole you used to get up here, and go down the
ladder to the left. Kill the Mask-Guy to the left before he gets you,
and then start hitting the bricks that make up the ceiling. The two
[?] down here won't give you anything you don't already have, but some
of those bricks above do contain coins. When you've broken them all,
you can climb back up the ladder. Walk over to the pipe on the left and
enter into the next area of this level.
Once step out of the pipe, you need to shoot a fire blast to your left
to destroy one of the blocks over there. Take a step forward, and you
can jump up to reveal a hidden block. Jump up onto it, and you can
reach the Small Coins floating above you. Then jump up onto the
platform up to the left. Get on top of the single block to the right,
and then use your wings to sail over to the left. Use a couple of fire
blasts to clear out the wall of brick, which will allow you to fly past
it. Walk over to the left and kill that next Mastah-Mosquito. Break
the trio of small bricks ahead to get a Small Heart.
Continue left, and use the Jump-Pad to enter the background. Once you
land back there, you can fire a blast to the right to destroy some
small bricks. Walk to the right, and jump up to the top of the
"staircase" of blocks. Break the two small bricks that are just past
it, and you can drop down below. Jump up the small staircase to the
right, and use your fire to destroy the brick to the right. Enter into
the doorway you just created, into a secret area. Begin walking to the
right, and carefully avoid the spikes below. Then get up onto the
platform that is up and to the right, and hit the [?] to get a Large
Heart. Fly over to the next platform you see over there on the right,
and enter into the doorway that is just past those spikes. In here, you
will find the Treasure of this level.
Hop right back out of this room, and you can head back over to where
you started in the background. Fly across the sky to pick up as many of
those Hearts and Coins as you can, and then go through the doorway that
is all the way over on the left. Drop down the little staircase, and
jump up onto the platform that is above the doorway you just came in
through. Break the block up there to reveal a Large Heart. Then go down
to the left, and at the bottom of the staircase you will find a couple
of Jump-Pads. You can use those pads to take you back into the
foreground, right next to a pipe leading to the left.
Don't go into that pipe yet. Instead you must start walking to the
right; picking up the coins as you go. Eventually you will drop back
down to the tube you originally came through. From there you go left,
and jump up through the hole in the block that you created for yourself
earlier. Drop down into the water, and swim over to the left to get a
few Small Coins. Now go through the narrow passage way to the right,
but you must be catious of the small fish in the background. Swim up
and to the left once you get through, and break the two small bricks
above to get the Elevator Key.
Now, if you need it, you can go down to the left and hit the [?] to get
an Eagle Statue. And while you're there you can break the large bricks
to the right of it to get some Coins and Hearts. Now go right, back
through that narrow little passage way, and swim up. Swim up to where
you first dropped down into the water to reveal a hidden block; which
you can use to jump up to the right. Drop down the hole, and up onto
the platform above you. Then run to the right and enter into the pipe
leading into the left wall. But before you go, you can turn to the
right and shoot a fire blast to reveal a Jump-Pad. You can use that to
leap into the background, and get a few more Small Coins. Then you can
leap back over and go in the pipe.
Ram into the small brick down in front of you to get a small coin, and
then fire a blast from your dragon's mouth to kill the little spiked
guy. Jump over the sand pit, and quickly fire another shot up at the
Mask-Guy standing on the large brick ahead. Then destroy that brick to
get some Small Hearts. Up ahead is a series of pillars split up by a
few small sand pits, some of which contain those little spiked guys. It
is easy enough to just jump over them, but you can fire blast them as
well if you don't want to risk it.
Just past those pillars is another Mask-Guy. Dispose of him and destroy
that large brick in your path. Enter into the doorway you just created,
and you can fly around in here to pick up some Small Coins. Then hop
back out the doorway. Crouch down and fire off a fire blast to the
left. This will reveal a couple of hidden blocks. Now start walking to
the left. Destroy the small bricks above, and you'll get a couple more
Small Coins. Now start running to the right, and you should be safe
from both enemies above and below.
Past that are three large bricks. Stomp into the middle brick to break
it open and pick up a Large Heart. From there you can fire off a blast
to the right to reveal another hidden block containing a Large Heart.
Jump back over there to get it, and then fire off one more fire blast
to the right to reveal one last hidden block. Get the heart from that
block, and then you can start heading to the left again. Ignore the
black tornado below, and just fly through the line of Small Hearts
above, and land on the next platform. Now enter into the pipe.
Destroy the two large bricks that are in front of you, and then kill
Mastah-Mosquito that appears. Down below you, the floor is made up of
large bricks. If you stomp down on the 3rd large brick from the right,
it will break away create a hole. Drop down the hole, and crawl to the
left. Fly over to get the small coins, and then fly back. Jump back up
the hole and walk to the left. Kill the Mask-Guy you see up above the
pipe, and then you can jump onto his platform. Fly over to the right,
and kill the Mask-Guy on that next platform. Then go over and climb up
the ladder.
When you reach the top, you can stand up against the right wall and
jump up to break the small brick above. Break the one just above that,
and then get up onto the platform above and to the left. Kill those
Mask-Guys, pick up the Extra Life, and hit all of the [?]. Then drop
back down the hole you came up through. Walk over to the left of the
top of the ladder below, and kill those next two Mask-Guys. Barge into
all of the [?] to pick up some hearts and coins. Then use a fire blast
to destroy the large brick that is to the left of the ladder, and enter
into the doorway.
In this room you will see a large mass of blocks in front of you, and
a narrow passageway directly below them. Wait for the Mask-Guy to be
to the right, and then drop down and crawl into the narrow crawl space.
Shoot the Mask-Guy before he touches you, and on the other side you
will find a door. But before you enter into that, you can pick up the
coins right next to it, as well as jump up and crawl into the top
narrow passageway to get the samm hearts. And then go into the door
over on the right. Fire at the [?] to your right and left, and then
pick up the items in here. Then jump back out of this room, and get
back over to the door on the left by using the upper narrow crawl space
above the blocks.
Climb down the ladder to your right, and then go down to the pipe over
on the left. Continue wlaking to the left, and you will come to the
Elevator that leads up into the next level.

--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 8
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
First, get a running start to jump over the sand pit in front of you.
Up ahead you can see a small enemy that is blocking your way into the
Mini-Boss battle room. So first you need to walk over to him. Stand up
until the enemy rises up to fire a missile, and then crouch down to let
it fire overhead. After the third missile is fired, you will then see
him shoot up into the sky and attempt to land on you. So quickly run
over to the right and let him get stuck in the ground. Now jump up and
land on the flashing light that is temporarily visible. Then run over
to the right and wait for him to do it again. Repeat the process, and
on this second hit he will fade away. Now you can use the Jump-Pad to
enter into the Mini-Boss battle.
As you can see, the floor below you is made up of small bricks,
breakable bricks. The Mini-Boss here is a long swordfish, who has his
sites set on you. You can be hurt be both his sharp nose, and his spike
fins. This guy attacks you by leaping high up into the air, aiming at
the small brick you are standing on, and then slamming into down into
it nose first. So the best way to avoid his attack is to keep running
around back and forth to avoid him. Then, he wil rise up from the sand
and quickly poke his head up. This is when you must make you attack!
So first, start running around back and forth across the small bricks.
Then, after the shoots down and breaks one, you need to wait 3 seconds
from impact to land on the top of his head. Notice that I said LAND,
and not jump. You have to time your jump so that you will land exactly
3 seconds after he breaks the brick. Also, you must land on the very
top of his head. If you land too far to one side then you will touch
his sharp nose, and if you land too far to the other side then you will
be hurt by his sharp fins. So it has to score a direct hit right on the
top and center of his head.
He'll be stunned for just a second, and then he'll start back up again.
So start running back and forth across the small bricks, but this time
you need to jump over the hole created earlier. Then once again, let
him shoot down and break another small brick. Time your jump right, and
you should land on the top of his head 3 seconds after he hits the
brick. Once again, this will stun him for just a while.
Now his attack will speed up a little, but it will still stay pretty
much the same. So let him break one more brick, and then jump onto his
head one more time to finish him off for good. Now all that's left to
do in here is collect the coins as they fall down from above. The best
way to collect the most is by catching them before they hit the floor,
since they are difficult to retrieve when they fall into the sand pit.
And when they stop raining down upon you, you'll jump out of the battle
room and collect the key to the next Elevator.

Hit the [?] right in front of you, and jump up to get your Onion and
become Bull Wario. Then go down the pipe that follow it. You will land
down on on a platform of blocks above the floor. This is because as
soon as you step down onto the floor, you will be attacked by a Mole.
So drop down there via the block-sized hole to your left, and then
quickly jump back up before he bashes into you. But as soon as he turns
his back on you, barge into him to knock him away. Do the same to the
other Mole that is waiting for you in the left corner, and then hit all
of the bricks and [?] in here. Hop back up the pipe in the ceiling to
get back into the first area of the level.
Begin walking to the right, and hit those next two bricks and [?] that
you come to. Just past them is a little Octopus-Plant. Wait for this
little guy let his head fold open, and then barge into him. Be careful
to avoid the little guys he just fired at you as yo continue to the
right. Barge into that large watermelon to pick up a Large Coin. Step
onto the conveyour belt you see ahead of you and start walking to the
right. Ignore the Honey-Bees overhead and drop down the first little
hole you come to below. This will drop you down into a hidden room of
this stage.
Down here you will find a bunch of crates, as well as a couple of Mask-
Guys. Kill both of them, and barge into all of the crates, big and
small. Also be sure to get the Dragon Crystal and become Sea Dragon
Wario. Then walk back over to directly underneath the hole you dropped
down through, and jump up to reveal a couple of hidden blocks. Jump up
onto those blocks, and you can hop back up through that hole. Now jump
over back onto the conveyor belt to the left, and walk all the way to
the begining of it. Then directly above you is a Honey-Bee. The only
difference between this, and the other Honey-Bees, is that this one has
a small watermelon rather than a bomb. So let him drop that watermelon
on you, and Wario will catch it in his hands.
Now carry that watermelon with you to the right, and be sure to jump
over the small hole below. Right after that you will come to a small
launch pad. You can see in the background is another conveyor belt,
that is split up into seven small sections. Step up to the very edge
of the launch pad, and wait for the small pad in the background to be
even with the second small section from the left. That is the time that
you press B to launch the watermelon into the background, where it will
land on the pad there and destroy the large watermelon blocking your
path to the right.
So now you can continue to the right, until you eventually come to a
[?]. Jump up to hit that [?] and you'll reveal a Eagle Statue, which
will transform you into King Dragon Wario. Be sure to kill the small
Octopus-Plant down to the right before you continue on your way. Then
destroy the next watermelon, and then kill the next Octopus-Plant. Just
past it is a pipe leading into the ground that you can head down to get
into another hidden area of this level.
Once you drop down through the pipe, you can step to the left and walk
towards the wall. Shoot the mole with a fire blast before he gets you,
and then use the two Jump-Pads to leap into the background. Step over
to the left of the pads, and jump up to shoot a fire blast into the
two [?] above. You can then jump up onto them to get a Heart and Coin,
and then drop down below them. Step down the staircase, and onto the
small platform to the left that has a [?] on the corner. Drop down to
the left, hit that [?], and you'll get a Small Heart. Now drop down two
more platforms and break the three small bricks. Just make your way
down to the very bottom, and break all the bricks you can along the
way. At the bottom are a couple of Jump-Pads, that you can use to leap
into the foreground.
Kill the two Mask-Guys to your right, as well as the Mole that is
hiding in the right corner. Jump up onto the [?] that is just above
that corner, and use a fire blast to reveal a coin in the [?] above
you. Jump up onto that [?], and then up onto the one that is just above
it. From here you can fly over to the far left and land on a large
crate. Stomp into it to destroy it, and walk into the pathway you just
revealed. The path ahead looks blocked, but you can destroy it with
fire. Eventually it will lead to a line of [?], all of which contain
either a heart or coin. Then you can drop down and barge into the black
brick to that is below the path to reveal an extra life. So pick that
up, and then walk through the path and back through the hole you made
earlier.
Now drop back down onto the ground below, and burn through the large
crate to reveal another passage way. Break the two small bricks above,
and use a fire blast to kill the Mask-Guy to before he comes to you.
Then jump up onto the [?] and shoot a fire blast to take out the line
of small bricks blocking your way. Begin walking to the left, and pick
up all of those Hearts and Coins. Then you can turn around and go back
through the hole you came into here through. Now you need to walk over
to those two Jump-Pads in front of you, and leap back into the
background. Now start jumping from platform-to-platform in order to get
back up to the top. Once up there, you can use the Jump-Pads to get
back into the foreground.
Jump back up to the right, and jump back up through the pipe above. Now
barge into the large watermelon that is sitting directly to your left,
and jump through the doorway you just revealed. As soon as you land,
you need to crouch down and fire off a shot into the right corner. This
will kill that pesky Mole before he even makes a move for you. Now turn
you attention over to the Mask-Guys. Kill them from right here using
your fire blasts, and then clear out that line of large melons. Be sure
to pick up all of the coins and hearts you reveal before heading back
through the doorway.
Now quickly run across the little conveyor belt to the right so you'll
avoid the bombs from above, and drop down the little hole just after
its end. Down here you'll find a small collection of enemies. Kill them
all, and destroy any crates and watermelons lying around. Pick up all
of the Coins and Hearts you see, and then use the Jump-pads to leap
into the background. Break all of the bricks, [?], and watermelons down
here to get some more items. Then you can jump back over into the
foreground, and then back up the hole you dropped down here through.
To reach it, you'll need to stand underneath it and jump up to reveal
a couple of hidden blocks.
So now you need to hop over onto the conveyor belt to the left, and
walk around waiting for a watermelon to drop down from above. Catch
that little melon and take it with you, over to the right where you
will find a launch pad. In the background you can once again see a
conveyor belt split up into seven small sections. Except this time,
rather than a pad, it is a scale. You need to drop a watermelon onto
one end of the scale, so that the key will come sailing over to you.
So wait until the scale has just disappeared to the right, and then
launch the watermelon into the background. By the time the melon lands,
it will hit its target right on cue and toss you the Elevator Key.
As you continue to the right, you will soon come to a [?] between a
couple of small bricks. Destroy them all, and you'll get a Small Heart
and a Viking Helmet (if you need it). Then quickly fire blast the
Octopus-Plant before he releases his spores. Just to the right of him
is a large watermelon that is concealing a hidden doorway. Enter into
that doorway to be taken into a hidden area of this level.
Before you move anywhere, you first need to fly over to the left and
blast through the large brick to reveal an extra life. Then fly back
over to the doorway you came in through, and climb down the ladder. As
soon as you reach the bottom you must turn to the right and blast the
mole before he runs out. Then climb down the next ladder, and kill the
mole to your right. Walk over to the right now and kill the Mask-Guy
standing on the bricks. Hit that [?], get the Large Heart, and then use
the Jump-Pads to leap into the background.
Take one step to the side of the Jump-Pads and break a single small
brick above you. This will allow you to get up into the next higher
platform of small bricks. Keep using this method and you'll be able to
reach up to the very top. Jump up onto the [?] you find there, and fly
over to the left to reach the top platform. Get those hearts up there
and then drop back down. Now start destroying the lines of bricks with
your fire blasts one-by-one, and pick up the Hearts and Coins that drop
out. Once you get back to the bottom, you can leap back into the
foreground and climb up the ladder, which takes you back up to the
doorway you came in through earlier.
Now you are back in the main area of this level. Start walking to the
right, and blast through that first large melon you come to and pick up
the large Heart. Walk onto the conveyor belt ahead, and drop down the
first small hole you come to. Now you are in another hidden area of the
level. Once you land down here, you can destroy the crates to your left
to pick up some Hearts. Kill the Mask-Guys down there to your right and
break through the two large watermelons. Next, use the Jump-Pads to get
into the background, and break the two large watermelons to the right.
Hit the [?] over on the left to get a Large Heart, and then enter the
doorway to your right. In there are four watermelons to your right and
left. Blast through them all, pick up the items that litter the ground,
and then hop back through the doorway. Then back into the foreground,
and then up through the hole to the left.
Now start making your way to the right and run across the conveyor belt
underneath the Honey-Bees. Drop down the first hole you come to. Then
step over to the right and kill that Mask-Guy before he runs into you.
Jump up to blast the two Skele-Spiders that are on top of the large
watermelons to the right. Now blast through all of the watermelons
here, as well as the crates. Collect all of the coins and hearts that
are in here. Stand directly underneath the hole you fell down through
and jump up to reveal a hidden block. Jump up on this block to be able
to reach the hole above.
Now go over to the left and get yourself a small melon. Take it with
you over to the launch pad, and try to get it in one of the two baskets
you see in the background. So wait for one of the pads to be on the
second small section from the right, and then launch it. Now go back
over to the left, and travel back and forth across the conveyor belt
until you can get your hands on another small watermelon. Take this
new melon back over to the launch pad, and press B when the basket with
the little arrow over it is on the second small section of belt from
the right. This will cause the large angry watermelon to your right to
fade away, and reveal a hidden door. Enter into that door, pick up the
Hidden Treasure for this level, and then hop right back out the door.
Continue to the right, and you'll come to a couple more large melons.
Enter into the doorway that is now visible to be taken into another
hidden room of this level. Crouch down to the right and fire blast the
Mask-Guys walking toward you. Then pick up all of the items in here,
including the extra life, and then go back through the doorway over on
the left. Walk to the right a little more and blast through the small
bricks and [?]. Pick up any coins that you get, and then blast that big
watermelon to the right for a Large Coin. Just past that is an Elevator
that takes you up to the next level of the game.

LEVEL 10
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
First walk up to the [?] right in front of you and hit it to recieve
a Onion, which will transform you into Bull Wario. Then quickly run
underneath the Bomb-Bat and into the doorway to the right. In this room
you will find a Blade-Face in the background, which will then appear in
the foreground. So let it move around in its circle for a while, and
then jump up onto the small button sitting on top of it head. This will
destroy it completely, and let you continue through the next doorway to
the right.
A Small Heart will drop down as soon as you step into this room. Walk
over to pick it up, and then use the Jump-Pads to leap into the back-
ground. Once you land back there you can break all of the small bricks
to your right, and hit both of the [?]. Collect up all of the Hearts
and Coins that you earned and then walk over to the left and barge into
the large bricks. Jump into this door to be taken into another area of
this level. Once again you can see a Blade-Face to the right, as well
as a [?] to your left. You can hit that [?] to reveal a Dragon Crystal,
which will turn you into Sea Dragon Wario.
Jump on the Blade-face now, but don't try to kill him with your fire
because that only stuns him. You need to land on the button atop his
head to take him out permanetly. Now walk over to the right and pick up
those Coins lying on the ground. Jump up to hit those two [?] and get
both the Large Coin, and the Eagle Statue, which will turn you into
King Dragon Wario. Then walk back over to the left corner of this room
and enter through the doorway. Then step down to the right and use the
Jump-Pads to get over into the foreground. Now you can walk off screen
to the right and into the next room.
Jump up and shoot a fire blast to kill that Coo-Coo before he drops a
bomb, and then walk to the right and jump on top of that Blade-Face.
Now just walk into the doorway to the right and into the next room. As
soon as you walk into this room, you will be spotted by a Flaming-Mask-
Guy. So jump up over him, and then blast him from the left. Then walk
towards the small black honey pot and shoot a fire blast right into it.
This will destroy it, and give you access to the wooden box directly
underneath it. Stomp down into that box and then drop down the hole
left in its absence.
Now step down to the left and pick up the two Large Coins. Then turn to
face the right and fire blast through the bricks. Pick up the Coin,
Heart, and Extra Life; and then go on through the doorway to the left.
In here you will find an angry little honey pot called Vase-Based. As
of now he can't hurt you; but when he's thrown and lands on his side,
out comes a little enemy. So just walk over, pick it up, and throw it
to either the right or left. If it lands on its side, then you must
kill the little white enemy that jumps out. Then continue throwing it
wait for it to land sitting upright. Each time you can do that it will
spit out a Large Coin. So just do this a couple of times, and then get
moving into the doorway to the left.
Now walk over to the left and pick up the four Large Coins sitting on
the ground. Then walk over to the middle of this room and pick up the
Vase-Based. Now throw it to one side and use the Jump-Pad to leap into
the background. Pick up the 5 Small Coins above your head, and then go
over to the left and break the small bricks and hit those [?]. Pick up
all of the hearts from over there and then go all the way over to the
right corner, and jump through the doorway. In this small room are four
Small Hearts as well as a couple of [?]. Pick up all of those Hearts,
and then hit the [?] if you need to become King Dragon Wario again. If
not, then you can just go straight down the pipe to the left. (And if
you want a few extra Large Coins, then you can play around with the
Vase-Based in here for a while.)
Crawl to the right, and down underneath the wall in front of you. Break
all of the large bricks above you, and pick up the Coins, Extra Lives,
and Hearts that fall from them. Then you can walk into the doorway to
the right. As you've probably noticed; this is a room you were just in
earlier. So walk to the right, ignoring the Vase-Based, and through the
doorway over on the right. Continue right and you'll travel through
another previously visited room, and then into the room that you first
dropped down through. So now jump up onto whats left of the large
bricks directly below the small hole up to the right, and you can jump
through it and back up onto the surface.
Climb up the ladder to your right, and enter into the room you find up
at the top. Now walk over to the right corner of this room, and you'll
see a barricade drop down in front of you. A large white mask will rise
in from the background and begin dropping little masks around you. What
you must do now is hop on one of those little masks to stun it, and
throw the stunned mask at the large mask. This will both kill the large
white mask, and remove the barricade. So now walk through the doorway
over on the right.
Crouch down low and shoot a fire blast to the right, which will clear
out that pesky little Flaming-Mask-Guy. Now run along the bottom, and
fly up at the top, to pick up the Small Coins. And if neccessary, you
can hit the two [?] to become King Dragon Wario before you walk back
into the doorway you came in through. Continue left and walk through
the next doorway, which will take you back to that ladder you climbed
earlier. From here you must now jump up and fly over to the ladder over
on the left. At the foot of that ladder is the next doorway you need to
enter.
Inside here is another large white mask that you kill just like the
previous one. And then go through the doorway over on the left. Quickly
crouch down and fire blast the Mask-Guy before he charges you. Now walk
over to the left and pick up the two Large Coins that are lying on the
ground. Use those Jump-Pads to leap into the background, and be sure to
collect all of the Coins and such back here before you jump into the
black doorway. You enter this new room standing just below a [?]. Jump
up to hit it, and you'll get a Large Coin. Now shoot a fire blast at
the Blade-Face just to stun him, and run over to the left to collect
those coins and go through the over black doorway.
Now CAREFULLY fly all the way over to the right, and land on the small
block. Then use a fire blast to destroy the large brick directly to
your right, and enter into the newly revealed door. As soon as you walk
in here you need to run over to the right. Blast through the Mask-Guy
and crawly underneath the wall directly to the right of the two Cuckoo
Clocks. Jump up to break the two small bricks above you, and you now
have access to the black door up to the right. It is inside this room
that you will find the Hidden Treasure to this level.
Now jump back out of this room, drop down to the left, and walk over
past the two clocks and through the black door. Now you once again find
yourself in the background, at standing on a platform at the very top.
So now just drop down to the left and fall to the bottom floor. Pick up
the three Hearts down here, and then jump into the black door you see
over to the right. Crouch down as soon as you enter into this next room
and shoot the Flaming-Mask-Guy before he gets you. Then jump up and fly
over to the right to pick up those Small Coins, and enter into the
black door over on the right.
This will take you to the background behind a room that you've
previously visited. Walk over to the left now, but DON'T use the Jump-
Pads here. Instead you can just ignore them, pick up the Hearts and
Coins, and go in the black door over on the left. This is just another
pick-up room. So get all the items you can before you go through the
black door that is past them and in the left corner. This will take you
to the very bottom floor of the background. So walk over to the doorway
on the left, but once again you must NOT USE THE JUMP-PADS HERE. Just
go through the door on the left for now.
Once you are inside this room, you must run over to the left corner of
the room and wait there for a minute. When all three of those Cuckoo
Clocks open up, kill the two Coo-Coos before they drop bombs, and then
jump up and get the Elevator Key from the middle clock. Once you've got
that, then go ahead through the door over on the left. This room is yet
another location for easy Coin/Heart collection. So get as many as you
can, and then go over to the right and use the Jump-Pads to leap back
into the foreground. Now crouch down and shoot a fire blast to the
left, which will reveal a line of hidden blocks filled with Coins and
Hearts. Walk across that new pathway over to the left and get them all.
Now turn around and walk over to the doorway leading out to the right,
but before you go through it, jump up to reveal another hidden block.
Jump off of this to the left to land ontop of the upper line of blocks.
Walk over to the right and drop down onto the platform below the [?].
Use a series of fire blasts to destroy the wall of flame blocks to your
left, and then fly over there. Walk up to the large white brick and
destroy it, which reveals a hidden door. Walk into that door and you'll
enter a hidden room of this level. Pick up the Extra Lives to your Left
and Right, and then jump back out of here. Now go back over to the
right using that same upper line of blocks, and go through the doorway
that leads into the next room.
In here is another one of those large white masks. So (as usual), just
wait for him to release those little white spiked masks, and pounce on
one of them. Pick the stunned mask up off the ground, and throw it at
the large mask to get rid of him, along with the barricade to the
right. So now walk through the doorway to the right. You are now
standing just above a white ladder. Jump up and fly over to the right,
so that you can collect the Small Coins floating below the ceiling, and
just let yourself fall to the ground. Once you reach the floor you can
go through the doorway to the right, that is just past that white
ladder.
Once inside this next room, you will need to clear out that Blade-Face.
So just fire blast it to stun it a while, and then run to the right.
Do the same to the Flaming-Mask-Guy, as well as those next two Coo-Coos
ahead. Blast throw the large white brick that is just a little past
them, and step into the black doorway you just revealed. Inside here
you'll find a nice cache of Coins and Hearts, as well as a Vase-Based
that you can play around with for extra Coins. Just don't spend too
long in here, and then jump bakc out when you're all done.
Now continue running to the right, past through the Mask-Guy and past
the Blade Face, and go through the doorway over on the right. Break the
small brick and hit the [?] to get a Heart and Coin. Then jump up onto
that [?] and you can get that Bomb-Bat to score one last Small Heart
before you step into the Elevator directly to your right, which will
take you up into the next level of the game.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 11
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
First go ahead and hit that [?] to get an Onion, which will turn you
into Bull Wario. Jump up over the two small pillars and over onto the
first little pad over the fire pit. From there, jump over three more
little pads and then stop. Because the next pad will drop you into the
fire below, you must jump over it and onto the next one. Now pick up
the Small Heart as you jump over onto the one directly to the right of
it. You can see that the next little pad will also drop you into the
fire. So you must wait for it to pop back up and then quickly jump onto
it and then over onto the next one. Be sure to continue picking up the
Small Hearts that you see above.
The following pad is going to drop down as well, so you must jump over
it and onto the next two, and then onto the small pillar that marks the
end of this first fire pit. From here you can see, up above and to the
right, is a large alien looking orb. This will fire a laser down upon
you when you step down to the right, so you have to quickly run past it
and over the next two small fire pits. Barge into the two small pillars
that are blocking your way to reveal a door. Enter into this doorway to
find a hidden room of this level. So jump up onto that first small
pillar in this room that's overlooking the firepit to your left.
First jump over onto the second little pad to the left, and then over
onto the one you see holding up the Small Heart. Now look farther to
the left, and you will see that both of the next 2 little pads are the
kind that drop you into the fire. So carefully jump directly onto the
far one, and then onto the one just past it that holds the Small Heart.
Now jump over to the left to collect all of the coins and hit all of
the [?]. Be sure to get the Eagle Statue so that you will become Eagle
Wario. Now you can fly all the way over the fire pit, not bothering
with those pads at all, and back through the door over on the right.
Now once again start making your way to the right, but be careful of
the new Alien orb that is now overhead. After you run for a while, you
will come to four flame blocks. Just past those are a couple of small
pillars that you can barge into and pick up a Large Coin. And now you
start making your way across another fire pit. So jump over onto the
first little pad, and then over the next one and onto the one after it.
You have to keep moving fast because of the Alien Orb overhead, so now
quickly jump over the next little pad and onto the one just after it.
From here you should be able to jump up and fly over to the right, and
land just after the end of the pit. Jump up to hit that [?], pick up
the Dragon Crystal, and become King Dragon Wario.
Now is when you start to make your way back over the fire pit. You
should be able to fly over most of it, and easily land back over on the
other side. Now you can use your fire blasts here to clear out the four
flame blocks and enter through the newly revealed doorway. In here you
will find a couple of Extra Lives waiting there for you. Now you've got
all you can from this part of Level 11, so go ahead and make your way
back over the fire pit, and then through the doorway over on the right.
The first thing you see in this next room is a [?], which you really
don't need to hit because all it has is a Onion. So instead just go
ahead and jump up onto that first little pad over the fire pit. You
can't move slowly on these pads, because there is a machine overhead
that will drop acid on you. So as quickly as you can jump over onto the
3rd little pad over. Stand there until it flips you up and into the
background. But don't slow down too far, because the acid machine will
follow you back there.
Blast through the two black pillars directly to the left of where you
landed back here, and enter into the doorway. In here is one more Extra
Life for you to get. Then hop back out of here and start running to the
right. Soon enough you'll come to another pair of black pillars, which
are concealing another hidden doorway that you can enter. To get across
this next lava pit, you first skip over one pad and jump onto the next
one. Then jump over the pad directly following that one, and drop down
onto the floor that halfway between the next pad. Then hop onto that
next pad, and then over past the fire pit completely. Use a fire blast
to destroy all of the pillars underneath the line of [?], and pick up
all of the Hearts and Coins. Then jump up to hit all of those [?] and
jump up there to collect it all. Now just fly completely over the fire
pit, and go back through the doorway over on the left.
Jump up onto the two small black pillars that mark the beginning of
the fire pit ahead. From here, you can just jump up and fly over to the
right side of it. Try to pick up the Small Hearts on your way over
there. Then, when you land, you can carefully jump over the next small
fire pit. Use a fire blast to hit the next two [?], jump up onto the
[?] above you, and then fly over to the [?] over on the right. Continue
right, and hit all of the small bricks and [?] that you come to. Just
past them is another one of those small fire pits. Just fly directly
over this pit to collect all of the Small Hearts above, and then land
safely down on the other side.
Hit the next three [?] and pick up the Hearts and Coins. Then fire
blast through the next two small black pillars, and enter into the
doorway that it was blocking. This room is just a simple cache of Coins
and Hearts. Avoid the small fire pits as best you can, and use your
dragon wings to reach every item in here. Then you can go back through
the doorway in the right corner. Now once again start running to the
right, past the two Jump-Pads, and up to the large black structure. Use
a series of fire blasts to clear out the base of this structure to
reveal a hidden door. Enter into this door to find the Hidden Treasure
of this level.
Now you can hop right back out of this room, and start making your way
across the large fire pits to your right. They are all relatively short
in length, so you can just fly right over them. When you pass the final
pit, you can fire blast through the black rocks to the right before you
use the Jump-Pads to leap back into the foreground. Then once you land,
walk into the doorway to the right to enter the next area of this
level. Break the small brick that sits to the right of the [?] ahead to
get a Large Coin, and then continue to the right.
These first two fans that you come to above and below won't do anything
more than bother you here, so just ignore them and get the three Small
Hearts above. Quickly kill that incoming Flaming-Mask-Guy before he
gets to you, and then continue right. Fight to walk against the wind of
that fan and jump up onto it. Pick up those Small Hearts from overhead,
and then drop down to the right when the fans below have stopped below.
Step onto the platform directly to the right of those two lower fans,
jump high up into the air, and then fly over onto the next small
platform. Wait here for the next set of fans to shut off, and then jump
over them and fly onto the next fan, which is blowing horizontally.
Kill the Flaming-Mask-Guy you see to your right, and then jump up and
break the two large objects above you. The [?] you see over to the
right contains only an Onion, so it really isn't necessary to hit it.
So instead, just jump up and start flying over to the right. You'll
land up on top of another upright fan. Blast through the three small
bricks to your left and pick up the two Small Hearts that drop down.
Then hop over to the right and wait for the two fans below to halt. Now
run across them and up onto the next upright fan. Before you go through
the doorway to the right, you can break the two large objects that are
just above it to pick up a Large Coin and a Small Heart.
Be careful of the fire pit right in front of you. Jump over onto the
fan that is on the other side of that pit, and let it carry you up to
the line of blocks above. Then pull yourself over to land on the next
fan, which is to the right. Now stand here on this fan and wait for it
to turn on. When it does, you must pull yourself up and over to the
right, which will put you in path of the next fan. Now pull yourself
over to the left, and blast through the two small pillars to reveal a
hidden doorway. Enter into this doorway to be brought into a hidden
room of the level.
Take a few steps over to the right, until you are no longer standing
on the four angry little blocks. Now stomp down here to break the small
metal pillars below. Then turn to face the left and blast through the
remaining metal pillars, and pick up a Large Heart. Hop up back out of
this hole, and stary flying over to the right to land on a long line of
of small bricks. There are a few enemies down below you and attempting
to kill you, so you have to run over to the right. Then once you come
to a fan sitting in the right wall, you can stomp down onto the three
bricks below it and pick up the items. Then quickly hop back up onto
the line of small bricks, run over to the left, and go back through the
doorway.
Drop down onto the fan below you and to the right. Wait for it to shut
off, and then jump over onto the fans to the left. Kill the Flaming-
Mask-Guy there, and wait for the fans below you to turn on. When they
carry you up to the top, then you can pull yourself over to the left
and collect the Elevator Key. Now you can drop back down to the floor
below, so long as you make sure you don't accidently land in the fire
pit. Directly to the right of the fan sitting in the floor, is a pair
of small metal blocks. Use a fire blast to tear through those small
blocks, and then go down the newly revealed pipe.
As soon as you land down here, you can go and pick up the three small
coins over on the left, as well as the items inside the three [?] above
you. Then jump onto the small pillar to the left of the fan in the
floor, and wait here for the next fan to shut off. Then jump over that
fire pit below and get the items on the other side. Now once again wait
here for that fan to turn off, and use the other fan to go back up the
pipe in the ceiling. Once you come back up on the other side, you can
go through the doorway to the right to enter the final small area of
this level.
In here there is a long line of small bricks in front of you. But there
are enemies below that will jump up and knock into you, so the easiest
way to travel over it is by flying rather than running. And when you
finally do reach the end, you will find the Elevator that leads up into
the next level of the game.

LEVEL 12
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
Here we are in the outer room of yet another Mini-Boss battle. But
first, you have to deal with the enemy who guards the doorway. So walk
up to him to get his attention, and let him shoot a long flame at you.
Crouch down to avoid this first attack, and then let him fire again.
Once again you must duck to avoid this attack, and then get back up to
have him fire again. Crouch down to avoid this third attack, and then
run over to the right before he lands down on you. But as soon as he
hit the ground, you can run over and jump on the flashing button that
is on the bottom of his head. This will cause him to be stunned for a
second, and then return to where he started. Now go through this attack
sequence one more time, and this time he will be gone for good. So now
use the Jump-Pad to enter into the Mini-Boss Battle Room.
This mini-boss is actually the easiest in the entire game, mostly
because in this room you can jump into the background and foreground at
will. If you want to hurt this guy, then you must first reveal him,
and then hurt him. To reveal him, you need only jump on top of the pot
whenever you see the little guy inside pop his head out, which is
usually when he is about to fire at you. Then, when he is revealed, you
can jump on the little guy before he gets back into his robot. The best
way to do this is to always be standing on or near the one of the Jump-
Pads.
If he is on the same ground that you are, then you can either jump over
or run underneath his fire, and then quickly jump on him. But if he
happens to be in the foreground while you are in the background
(or vice-versa), then you can use the Jump-Pad to leap directly onto
him. All it takes is three hits to finish this little guy off. Right
after he fades away into the middle of the screen, it will start the
usual rain of Large Coins. So pick up as many as you can before the
game takes you back out of the battle room, and down to where you will
collect the Elevator Key. Now you can take that Key over to the right,
and use it on the Elevator to enter the shaft leading to the next
level.

--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 13
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
First, walk up to the [?} right in front of you, and pick up the Onion
to become Bull Wario. Now, while standing on this block, barge over to
the left and ram into the structure directly above the Elevator. Jump
up and enter into this newly revealed doorway to find the Hidden
Treasure of this level. Then hop back out of this small room, and go
right. Jump up onto the small block sitting on the floor that is
holding a Large Coin. Up here you will be safe from the spiked ball
below. Then crouch all the way down as you begin crawling to the right.
Stop in between the next two blocks, and jump over the Mask-Guy when he
comes at you. Then quickly barge into his back. Jump up onto the next
block above when the spiked ball is down to pick up a Large Coin, and
then once again start crawling to the right. Eventually you will come
to a doorway leading over into the next room.
In this room you can see a couple of blocks above you, both of which
are protected by a spiked ball. So wait for the lower spiked ball to be
down, and then jump up onto it and quickly up to the right. Kill the
Mask-Guy up here before he gets you, but be aware of the nearby spiked
ball. Now getting the Dragon Crystal and Eagle Statue up here can be a
little tricky. They are hidden in the second and fourth of the blocks
below you. So first stomp down on the second block from the left, but
land on the block to the left of it so that you WON'T pick up the Eagle
Statue. Now jump over to the fourth block from the left, and stomp down
on it to reveal a Dragon Crystal. Now pick up this, as well as the
Eagle Statue, to become King Dragon Wario.
Now walk all the way over to the left edge of this upper platform. Then
jump up and fly over to the right, where you will land on a small
platform directly below a [?]. This [?] holds only a Viking Helmet, so
you can just ignore it and enter into the room directly to your left.
This room here is just a basic Heart and Coin pick up room. So just use
fire blasts to clear out the small bricks, as well as the two Flaming-
Mask-Guys. Leave some bricks standing near the middle of the screen,
and walk over to the left. There you will find a large pipe sitting
below a small platform holding an extra life. So start jumping up here,
and you will reveal a line of hidden blocks above. Then, when you have
revealed them all, you can use some of the small bricks you left behind
to get up onto this line of blocks and over, where you can pick up the
Extra Life.
Drop back down to the floor of this room, ignore that large pipe below,
and go back through the doorway over on the right. Jump over onto the
block below you and to the right, and then fly over to the platform
where you earlier became King Dragon Wario. From here, you must jump up
onto the block above, and then quickly onto the one to the left before
the spiked ball gets you. Now jump up and fly over onto the block that
holds the Dragon Crystal over to the right. Jump up to break the large
brick directly above this to get a Large Heart. From here you can jump
up and fly over to the left, where you will then land on a small
platform against the left wall. Now break the brick above the entrance
to this door, and pick up the Large Coin that drops down. And now go
into the next room to your left.
This room looks a little odd, but is actually simply moved through. So
first shoot fire blasts at the two Mask-Guys that you see ahead, and
then run up to the large Thorn-Ball just after the Thorn-Ball in the
background shoots his projectile. Then wait for the Thorn-Ball in the
foreground to fire his projectile, and quickly jump up onto the thick
totem pole and jump up above it to reveal a large hidden pipe. Now
quickly jump up into that pipe before he fires again. You are now in
the background of the first room of this level. So first pick up the
Hearts and Coins to your left, and then start running over to the
right. Run past the two Jump-Pads sitting on the floor, and use fire
blasts to clear out the bricks you soon come to. This will reveal a
hidden doorway, which will take you into the next room.
This room looks similar to the room you were in earlier. So just like
below, you have to reveal a large pipe that is right up above the
Thorn-ball that sits in the foreground. Then go ahead and slide right
up that pipe, before you get blasted with a spiked ball. Once you pop
back up on the other side of the pipe, you're only option is to walk
over to the right. Continue right, and you will eventually come to a
bed of spikes. Much like in the very beginning of the first level, you
must now avoid huge spiked balls that are swinging in from the
background. So start jumping from platfrom to platform, and do your
best to avoid the huge balls.
The easiest way to do this is by jumping onto the first half of a
platform, while the huge ball swings around on the right half of it.
Then you can jump over past it, and onto the next small platform, as
soon as the huge ball swings into the background. Not long after you
pass by the third huge spiked ball, you will find a tube that takes you
into the next room. This room is a little tricky, because it not only
is full of Thorn-Balls, but is also a pretty small area to work in. So
just do your best to get over to the left side of this room, and go
through the doorway.
You now find yourself in the background of an earlier room. There is a
long line of small bricks above you, but not all of them are breakable.
So just walk underneath the 4th brick from the right and break it. Now
you can jump up through the hole you just made, and then up onto the
two small bricks that are above you and to the left. Continue this way
to reach the upper right-hand corner of this area. This is the door
that you take to enter into the next room. In here you will find a pair
of Jump-Pads, which you will use to leap into the foreground. Once you
land there, you can carefully make your way to the left and go down the
pipe. This pipe will drop you back down onto the floor of an earlier
room. But on the way down, you will pass through the Elevator Key!
Now quickly jump up and shoot the Mask-Guy to your right, before he
drops down onto you. Then hop up onto that platfrom, and then up onto
the second block above you. Now jump up onto the block directly to your
left, and from there you can jump up and fly over to the left wall. You
should land on a small platfrom, where it is possible to enter into the
room to your left. In this room, you can walk over to the left and jump
up into the pipe above the large Thorn-Ball. This will take you into
the background area of the first room of this level. So now run over to
the right, and go through the doorway you'll eventually come to. Once
inside this room, you can walk over to the right and jump up into the
pipe in the ceiling.
This will take you into a small room, where all you can do is go to the
right. Inside this room you will find the bed of spikes, and huge
swinging spiked balls, that you had to get past earlier. So once again
carefully make your way through this room, and go down the pipe that is
over on the right. Now carefully go left, past the Thron-Balls who are
in great number in here, and go through the doorway over on the left.
This will take you back into the background of an earlier room. So just
like before, you must make your way up to the top. Except this time,
you must go through the doorway on the LEFT, rather than the one on the
right.
You are now in the background of a room you have never visited before.
So make your way over to the far right corner of this room, and then
use the two Jump-Pads to leap into the foreground. From there, you can
just walk over to the right and use the Key to open the Elevator shaft,
which will transport you up to the Final-Boss-Fight!

--==========-----------==========--
LEVEL 14
==-------------------------------==
===============
---------
Just like in all of the previos Boss Levels, there is a "guardian" that
is blocking you access to the Final Boss Battle Room. But unlike any
other one you've fought before, this one will start fighting as soon as
you walk out of the elevator. As usual, he will fire projectiles at you
before he slams into the ground. Except now, his projectiles will not
disappear off screen. Instead they will continue to make passes on you,
like they are "heat-seeking." So let him fire off his first missile,
and then quickly run to the side to avoid his spiked head. Then, while
he is down, you can jump on that flashing button atop his head to hurt
him. Quickly run over to the right to let him fire off another missile,
and then act quickly to both avoid it, and land on the guardians head.
This time will knock him out for good, and reveal a Jump-pad that you
can use to leap into the Final Boss Battle Room.
Well, here you are, the Final Boss! This demonic creature will take a
while to rise up and meet you, so just be patient. But as soon as he
does appear, you must immediately make your first attack on him. How
you will attack him now, as well as throughout this battle, is by
jumping into his nose. This is the only way to hurt him. So after this
first hit, the demon will begin his attack on you.
Below is a quick explanation of each of his three attacks:
1. Claw-Pound: This attack is simple, and is just as it sounds. From
time to time, he will drop his two hands down upon the white cirle that
is in the foreground. The easiest way not to get caught underneath them
is to always keep moving. This won't gurantee that he won't hit you,
but it will lessen his chances of getting you.
2. Fire-Breath: This attack is the one he is most likely to use on you.
Just as it sounds, this attack consists of breathing fire onto the big
circle you are standing on. It will start out in a concentrated little
spot, and then spread out to the right and left. So the best way to
avoid this attack is by standing off to the side and waiting. Then,
when he does breath fire, you can jump into the center of the fire as
soon as it starts moving outwards. By the time you land, the fire will
have already moved away from you.
3. Claw-Slash: This is a rare move, as to say that you won't see it put
into practice very often. Basically it consits of him making an odd
little shrieking noise being made, his hand start to flash, and then it
takes a quick swipe at a small area of the large circle. The best way
to avoid this attack is by seeing which hand is flashing, and then
running over to the opposite side of the platform.
I find that the best moment to attack is right after he ends a sequence
of fire-breath attacks. Remember that it only counts if you hit him
squarely on the nose. A hit placed anywhere else is pointless, and
benign. All in all, you will need to score 5 successful hits to take
this guy out for good.

-VIII.---------------------- FAQ HISTORY ----------------------------
=======================================================================
07/22/2003: Today I began work on my FAQ/Walkthrough for "Wario Land"
on the Virtual Boy gaming system.
08/25/2003: It took me about a month to do it, but I've finally
finished it. This FAQ/Walkthrough is almost complete; all
that it is missing is the treasure in Level 5. So for now
this is FAQ Version 1.0, but I will update this document as
soon as I figure out where the final treasure is.
09/04/2003: I found the location of the final hidden treasure, so this
FAQ/Walkthrough is now complete. This is now FAQ version
1.1, which will probably be the final version. Also, I
added some ASCII art to the top of the walkthrough.
