Section 1: Introduction/Using this Guide
Hello, and welcome to my walkthrough for Wario Land for Virtual Boy. If you're
here, needless to say, that means you own a Virtual Boy. Good job. Way too many
people passed over this system and missed out on some very good games. Wario
Land is easily the best game available for the system, but, there are certainly
many other games out there for it that are very worthwhile to own. Still,
you're not here to read about them, you're here because you want some help with
Wario Land.
This guide aims to be as accurate and covering as possible. That is, it will
direct you down every side path, to every coin and item you can come across.
While I may have missed a few things (and please let me know if I have), it
attempts to cover every single thing that there is to do in the game. There are
a few places where that involves retracing a path you don't need to go down
(that is, if there are two paths to a given point, it would have you going up
one, back down the other, and then returning), but, I try to let you know about
that in advance before heading down it, so you don't get to the end and think
to yourself "Hey, I just went in a circle!" Still, as I said, I did attempt to
get every single thing in here.
In most places, I specifically number the items you are getting. That is, I
won't just say "Run right and get the coins," I would say "Go right and get
twelve coins." However, if, for instance, I say "Get twelve coins" and you only
see ten, don't go insane trying to find two more, odds are I just miscounted.
Again, you can let me know about that if you want, but, that isn't quite as
critical. I included numbers for guidelines and reference, but, obviously if
there's a group of coins in front of you, you can get them just fine without
having to worry about me telling you exactly how many there are. In a few
places where it's particularly inconvenient I have omitted an exact number
(instead saying something like "Run through the room getting all the coins"),
but, in most cases there is an exact number. As I said, if nothing else, it
makes for good reference, since you could, for instance, say "Alright, there
are twelve coins here, let me find where in the walkthrough it mentions getting
twelve coins."
With enemies, as opposed to naming them, I instead describe what they do. Part
of that is because I don't know all of their exact names, and the other part
is, I feel it's easier to understand "Alright, an enemy is going to fly at me
and drop a spike on me," as opposed to thinking "Ok, the enemy is called This,
but, what exactly does it try to do to me?" I figure that's more useful to
someone using the guide, hopefully it works fine for you.
At various points, I'll use the terms "foreground" and "background." If you're
unsure of what these terms mean, you're bound to be confused. The foreground is
basically the front of the screen, where you start off and where most of the
action takes place. The background is the back of the screen, which you
occasionally can enter by "jump blocks" or through doors or pipes or whatnot.
That's all really.
This guide is written for the "normal" mode of the game. If that doesn't mean
anything to you, don't worry at all about it, if you don't know what it means
it's not something you have to worry about. I haven't checked this guide for
the other mode yet, I probably will at some point. You can try using it for the
other mode if you want, but, no guarantees as to its accuracy. If an enemy
flies out of nowhere and attacks you, well, that would be why.
The table of contents, next to the level number, contains a search string. This
string allows you to jump directly to that particular section, since the only
places in the guide that phrase exists is in the table of contents and at the
related section. Just to make finding what you need somewhat quicker.
That should be all the notes I really need before starting this, most
everything else should be fairly self-explanatory. If anything is unclear, or
if you need help on anything, please feel free to write and ask me, I'm more
than happy to help, and if you don't understand something chances are you're
not the only one and it's probably something I should further clarify in the
guide itself.
That should be good though. So, with all that said, on with the guide, I hope
you find it useful, and enjoy your time in the world of Wario Land.

Section 3: Walkthrough
3.01: Level 1 (WLL01)
After watching the opening sequence, you'll find yourself dropped at the
beginning of the stage. Walk to the right, and you'll come to a ball on a chain
swinging from the background to the foreground. Wait until it's in the back,
and then run past. Further to the right, you'll come to a hole with spikes,
with a ball and chain on the other side. Wait until the ball is back, and then
dash across the hole. Further to the right is another hole with a ball and
chain on the other side, do the same. Continue to the right, and go through the
passage to the next room.
Here, hit the question mark block to get a coin. Walk right, and you'll come to
an enemy, and dash into it to kill it and get a coin. Continue over a bridge,
and kill another enemy. Here, you'll find three breakable blocks. You need to
be big in order to break them. Inside the middle block is a heart, and in the
right one is a coin. Continue to the right and you'll come to a line of ten
blocks. The first five are breakable. Inside the first is a coin, a heart in
the second, a coin in the third, nothing in the fourth, and a coin in the
fifth. Then is a question mark block with a coin. Then, are two empty breakable
blocks. Then is another question mark block with a powerup. Then, the last
block contains a coin.
Go right, and you'll see a floating cloud with a coin on it. This cloud, if you
toss enemies into it, will toss out coins. Unless you feel like trecking all
over the level looking for enemies, just toss in the three enemies nearby to
get three coins. Continue to the right and you'll come to two large blocks. You
need to have the horn hat powerup in order to break them. Each block contains
one heart each. Further to the right, in the ground are two breakable blocks
and a question mark block. Ground pound the blocks to break them, the breakable
blocks each have a heart, and the question mark block has a coin. Then, to the
right is a block with a powerup. Continue right, and an enemy will fly from the
background into the foreground and drop a spike. Avoid the spike, then you can
kill the enemy. After that is a question mark block with a coin, and a
breakable block. Further right you'll pass by two more enemies.
At the end of the path is a block that will allow you to jump into the
background. In the back is a large breakable block with a heart, and then a
series of eight breakable blocks. The first contains a heart, the second a
coin, the fourth a heart, the fifth a coin, and the seventh a heart. Up ahead
is a block to jump back into the foreground. Jump forward, grab the key, and
then jump back. Now, to the right is a series of blocks, stacked two tall and
three wide. Dash into them to break them, to get a coin and reveal a door. Go
inside to find the treasure for this stage, and then leave. Go right, and then
use the block to jump back into the foreground.
Up ahead are three breakable blocks, with a coin in the second and a heart in
the third. Further on, on the ground is a series of blocks and gaps, with lava
below the gaps. Dash across the blocks to make it across, and collect six
coins. Then, an enemy will fly in from the back and drop a spike. After that
are three blocks, two of them breakable and one a question mark block. In the
first breakable block is a coin, in the question mark block is a powerup, and
then in the second breakable block is a heart. Up ahead, is another enemy that
will fly up with a spike, and then another enemy after that. After them, break
the block to reveal a block to jump to the background, and use it. Here, there
are six coins and six breakable blocks. Get the coins, and then break the
blocks. The first four blocks contain coins, the fifth contains a block to jump
back to the foreground, and the sixth contains a coin. After getting them, jump
back to the foreground.
Now, go to the right to find a large block, and break it to get a heart. At the
end is an elevator with a locked door. Assuming you got the key in the level,
walk up to it and you'll insert the key and open the door. Walk into the
elevator and press up to move on to the next level.

3.02: Level 2 (WLL02)
Go right, and there are two empty breakable blocks. Right from there is a big
breakable block, but, you can't break it right now. Go right, and you'll be
attacked by an enemy dropping from the ceiling. Further right, an enemy will
break through a door and attack. Continue right to find two breakable blocks
and a question mark block. Inside of the question mark block is a powerup. Now,
go back to the left and break the two big blocks, to get a coin and a heart.
Now, continue on to the right, and you'll come to a block in the ground. Stomp
it to get a heart. Stomp on the ground underneath that to reveal a jump block,
and jump to the background. Here, there are eight breakable blocks, containing
two coins and five heart. The block on the right contains a jump block, use it
to return to the foreground.
Now, go right and take care of the enemy. Continue right to find a question
mark block with a powerup. Further to the right, an enemy will break through a
door and attack. Continue right, to a pipe, and go down. Here, there are three
hearts and two enemies. Take care of the enemies and get the hearts, and then
go right. Stomp on the 2nd block on the ground for a heart, and jump above the
first block for a hidden powerup, then go right and through the door. Here,
there are three more hearts, and two more enemies. Stomp on the second block
for another heart. Then, go up the pipe. You'll now find yourself in the
background, across from the pipe you first went down. Go right, and there are
five question mark blocks. The first and second have a coin, the third and
fourth a heart, and the fifth contains the key you need in order to exit the
level. Now, go right, past the jump blocks, under the waterfall, and stomp on
the blocks on the ground to get five hearts and three coins. Now, go back left
and use the jump blocks to return to the foreground.
Here, there's a cloud with a coin on it and four enemies. Toss the enemies into
the cloud to get coins from it. Go right, and charge into the question mark
block to get a coin. Go right to find another question mark block, with a
powerup. Go right, and an enemy will break through a door and attack. Once you
take care of him, charge the question mark block for a heart. Go right, and
charge into the second part of the stairway to reveal a door. Go inside to find
a diamond that will give you an extra life. Now, leave the room and go up to
the top of the platform. Go right and kill the enemies. If you charge into the
end blocks, you can get coins from them. Go right, down the stairs, and an
enemy will break through a door. Kill it, then hit the question mark block for
a powerup. Go right, and another enemy will come through a door. Now, look for
a jump block in the background, and in front of where you see that, stomp on
the ground and you'll find a jump block. Use it to jump into the background.
Here, get four coins and four hearts, and then return to the foreground. Go
right, into the next room.
Go right and get two coins on the ground, as three enemies drop from the
ceiling, and one attacks on the ground. Go right and you'll find a question
mark block with a dragon hat inside, which will let you spit out fire. Spit out
fire to break the blocks in front of you, and go down the pipe. Go left, watch
out for the enemy on the ceiling, and get four hearts. Continue left, break the
first two blocks for coins, and then go up the pipe. Get seven hearts, and then
jump into the background. Get the four coins, break the block on the left for a
coin, and then there are two question mark blocks with a heart and a coin. Jump
to the foreground, go right, and breath fire to break the blocks. Get two coins
and a heart, and you'll also reveal a door. Break the two blocks above you to
get coins from them. Then, go through the door and get the treasure for the
level. Now, go back out the door, and retrace your starts all the way back up
the first pipe. Once you come back up the pipe, go right to the elevator,
insert the key, get on, and go up to the next level.

3.03: Level 3 (WLL03)
Start out by swiming right, where there's two empty breakable blocks, and one
question mark block with a fire-breathing powerup. Watch out for an enemy
swiming past above. Swim right, across the blocks, and at the end blow fire at
the two right blocks for coins. Go right, past two enemies. Spit fire at the
fire blocks above, then swim into the block above it to break it and get a
coin. Swim up to next room. Here, there's an enemy swimming between the
foreground and background. There are four breakable blocks and four question
mark blocks. From left, the breakable blocks contain: heart, coin, heart, coin.
The ? blocks, from left, contain: heart, heart, heart, powerup. Now, swim back
down to the previous room. Go right, under the spikes, and break the big block
on the ceiling for a coin. Hit the question mark block with a coin. Now, swim
right, through the pipe, to the next room.
Now, swim right, and hit the two question mark blocks to get two coins. Swim up
and hit the question mark block above with a powerup, then swim left. Here,
there is a fish that will attack from the background. Wait until it is back,
and then quickly swim up and right. Swim right, past another fish. Here, you
can get the powerup if you need it. Swim up, and avoid another fish above. Swim
left and down and spit fire at the blocks to break them and get a coin, and
then get twelve coins in the alcove. Swim back up, then left and up, and then
down past the fish. Hit the two question mark blocks for two hearts, then swim
up past the fish again and to the right to get them. Now, swim back up, and
right past a fish. Go right, then up and left. Get three coins, and then
through the pipe to the next room.
In this room are jets of water coming from the ceiling. They won't hurt you by
themselves, but, they'll push you down, into spikes or enemies or such. Go
left, past an enemy, and through the first jet. Hit the question mark block for
a coin. Go left, through the second jet, avoid an enemy, and get another
question mark block with a powerup. Go left, through the third jet, to two
question mark blocks with a heart and a coin. Avoid the enemy and go left
through the fourth jet, and then left through the pipe to the next room.
Here, swim left and spit fire at the two blocks to get a coin. Then, swim up
and break the breakable blocks to get into an alcove with six hearts. Go back
down, left, and up past the fish. Break the three breakable blocks and get a
coin, then break the big block above. Go right, get six coins, then go back
left and through the left path. In this room, there's an enemy swimming from
the back to fore, and nine question mark blocks. They contain, from the left:
heart, coin, coin, heart, coin, heart, coin, heart, key. Go across the top to
get them, then back down, right, and back through the opening to the previous
room. Then, swim right and go through the pipe on the right to the next room.
Here, there's rows of blocks on the left and right, and a jet stream in the
middle. Go down the stream (but not into the spikes) and left. Watch out for
the enemy swimming from the foreground to the background on the left. Get the
three coins below the blocks. The blocks here contain, from the left: nothing,
nothing, powerup, coin, coin, heart. Now, swim to the right, get the two coins,
and the blocks contain, from the left: coin, nothing, nothing, heart, coin.
Now, go right and through the jetstream, and under some blocks. Swim up into
the square blocks and get a heart, then breath fire at the blocks on the right,
and swim up through the pipe. Here, there's a diamond that will give you an
extra life. The breakable blocks contain, from the left: coin, nothing, coin,
coin, nothing, coin. Now, go back down through the pipe. Go down and right, and
through the pipe, into the next room.
Here, watch out for the enemy swimming from the foreground to the background,
as well as the spiked balls circling some of the blocks. Wait until they're up,
and then swim underneath them. At the end, jump out of the water and climb the
ladder. At the top, go left, jump on top of the big blocks, and go up. Breath
fire at the fire block to break it and get a coin. Now, above is a question
mark block with a bull powerup. Get it, and then go back down to the big
blocks, and stomp on the one on the left to break it and reveal a door. Go
inside, get the treasure, and then leave. If you jump at the right part of the
ceiling and break it, you can get a coin. Now, go right underneath the
platform, avoiding the balls. At the end, you're underneath the elevator. Go
right, into the next room. Here, there's twelve question mark blocks, with
water underneath and a couple of spiked balls. Go underneath and hit them, and
then go across the top to get the items. They contain, from the left: heart,
coin, coin, coin, heart, coin, heart, coin, coin, coin, heart, coin. After
getting them all, go back left to the previous room. Go back under the platform
and past the spiked balls, and then at the end jump up, and go right to the end
of the path and the elevator. Walk to it to insert the key, and then get on and
go up to the next level.

3.04: Level 4 – Boss (WLL04)
Walk to the right, and jump in the air to the right of the rock sticking from
the ceiling to find a hidden block with a powerup. Now, continue right. You'll
see a door in the background, and an enemy will come up from the ground. He'll
jump up into the air and then fly down trying to attack you. Avoid him and
then, when he's stuck in the ground, jump on him. Do this twice to kill him,
and he'll make a jump block appear. Use this to jump through the door in the
background.
Here, you'll be in the foreground, and an enemy will appear in the background.
Note that you can't pause in this room. The enemy will throw a ball at you from
the background to attack you and, after doing this a few times, will jump into
the foreground. Here, he will have a ball coming from his head, swinging back
and forth trying to hit you. Avoid the ball and jump on his head to hurt him.
Do this three times to kill him. After killing him, coins will begin to drop
from the ceiling, run around collecting as many as you can. Once it's done,
you'll jump back out of the door, and get the key. Walk right, to the elevator,
in, and up to the next level.

3.05: Level 5 (WLL05)
When you come out of the elevator, walk left and hit the question mark block to
get a powerup. Now, continue left, and avoid the enemy that will toss a spike
at you, and then an enemy that will fly above and attack. Jump on top of the
tree stump and get the two coins, then continue left, past another flying
enemy. There's a cloud with a coin here if you want to toss in any enemies to
get coins. Further along will be another flying enemy, then a question mark
block on the ground. Charge it to get a fire-breathing powerup. Now, go back
right to the tree stump and breath fire at it. You'll get a coin, and reveal a
door. Go in the door, to a room with two enemies and six question mark blocks.
Take care of the enemies, and then the blocks contain, from the left: heart,
heart, coin, coin, coin, flying powerup. Now, go back out the door. Now, go
left, avoid the three enemies and, at the end of the path, there are two paths
you can take. There are many things down both paths, and you'll probably want
to do both. I'll keep each path separate however.
Path 1:
Go left through the pipe, to the next room. Here, go left, and watch out for
the enemy that will jump out from behind the bushes. Then, go through the pipe
on the left. Walk left, jumping between the foreground and the background. When
you get on the left side of the row of trees in the back, spit fire at them to
get a coin, and then jump and break the ones above for another coin. Then,
continue left. In the foreground, avoid an enemy and hit a question mark block
for a powerup. Return to the back, cross the spikes, and hit the three
breakable blocks for coins, and spit fire at the tree to the left to get a
coin. Jump and spit fire at the third section to get a coin, and then jump and
break the one above for a heart. Then, jump back to the front, avoid the enemy,
and hit the question mark block for a powerup. Now, go up the ramp, and at the
top jump into the background. Jump down the right side of the tree to get eight
coins. Then, climb back up and do the same on the left side for six more coins.
Now, climb back to the top, jump to the foreground. Here, you can fly across to
the right back through the room, to get ten coins. Jump to the very end, get
two hearts, and then shoot fire at the trees to reveal a door. Go in and get
eight coins. There are six question mark blocks which contain, from the left:
coin, coin, heart, heart, coin, coin. There are also two empty breakable
blocks. Now, go back out the door. Go back left, climb back up, and then fly
across the room in the foreground. At the end you can stomp down on the line of
blocks to get three more coins. Now, go back left again, and through a pipe to
the next room.
Watch out for the enemy. On the branch above the pipe is a powerup. Now, go
left, up the ramp, past another enemey. At the top, stomp on the top of the
ramp to break it and go down to a jump block, and jump into the background.
Here, go right and shoot at the stump to reveal a door, and go in. Watch out
for the enemy, get the six hearts in the room. Shoot the stumps on the left to
get three coins, and then go left. Fly across the top to get twelve coins, and
then quickly fly back before falling into the spikes. Now, go back right and
out the door. Go left and shoot the six breakable blocks, for a heart and a
coin, and reveal a jump block. Jump back to the foreground. Watch out for the
enemy, and then go left, through the pipe, to the next room.
Here, watch out for the two enemies, and then go left and hit the question mark
block for a powerup. Go back right and up the ramp, and jump right to a tree
branch. Avoid the enemy and climb up the ladder. Fly across and get six coins,
then continue up the ladder, avoiding another enemy. At the top jump and break
the blocks, and then hit the question mark block to get the key for the level.
Fly left to a heart. Above you'll see the elevator to exit the level, but, you
don't want to do that just yet. Across the top you can fly and get six coins.
Now, go down along the left tree. You'll come to a branch with a powerup. Go
down to the branch below it and shoot the tree to reveal a passage. Go through
to the next room. Here, watch out for the two enemies, get the two hearts, and
hit the question mark block for a heart. Now, just to the right of the trees,
jump to reveal a hidden block with a coin. Stand on that block and shoot fire
at the trees to reveal a path. Go left through the path and get three hearts.
At the end, watch out for the enemy, get the four coins, and hit the question
mark block to get a powerup. Now, shoot at the trees to the right at the
bottom, to reveal a door. Go inside to find the treasure for the level, then
leave. Now, go back right, to the previous room.
Path 2:
Climb up the ladder, at the top jump to get three coins, and then jump over to
the ladder on the left. Continue climbing up, and watch out for enemies
throwing spears. At the top, jump to get three more coins, and then jump across
to the right ladder, and continue up. Jump and hit the question mark block to
make a powerup appear, then climb the ladder to the platform. Jump onto the
blocks, and across the top of the room you'll see twenty coins. Fly across the
room to get them all. Now, go through the pipe to the next room.
When you enter, watch out for the enemy throwing a spear. Hit the question mark
block to make a powerup appear. Spit fire at the three fire blocks below.
They'll disappear, leaving three coins, and two new blocks. Get the coins, and
then spit fire at the new blocks. Get the seven coins and six hearts as you
make your way across the blocks, and then spit fire at the blocks again and get
two more coins. Watch out for the enemy throwing spears above, kill him and
then hit the two question mark blocks for a heart and a powerup. Go left, get
the nine coins, and then hit the question mark block for a heart. Continue
left, and then spit fire at the stump to reveal a door. Go in, get the twelve
coins, and then hit the five question mark blocks. They contain, from the left:
powerup, heart, coin, heart, powerup. Once you're finished, go back out the
door.
Duck down and spit fire to the left to make a row of blocks appear, with items
above them. From the right, they are: coin, heart, heart, heart, coin, coin,
heart. Stomp the last question mark block for a powerup. Hit the question mark
block above for a powerup. Now, go left, across the top of the ladders. Spit
fire to the left at the stumps and get a coin, heart and powerup. Continue
left, avoid the enemy, and stomp on the question mark block for a coin. At the
end, go through the pipe, to the next room.
Rejoin:
Once you've finished both paths (or whatever you desired to do, as long as you
got the key), go to the top left of the final room, insert the key into the
elevator, and go up to the next area.

3.06: Level 6 (WLL06)
Walk left and go into the water. The water here has a strong current to the
right, so, you'll have to swim against it. Get the six coins, and hit the
question mark block for a powerup. Go left, jump out of the water, and kill the
enemy. Then, continue left, back in the water, and watch out for the enemy
coming in from the background. Also, be sure to not let the water push you into
the spikes on the right. Now, go left and get the three coins and three hearts.
There are two breakable blocks, one of which has a coin. Continue left, under
the waterspout, making sure it doesn't push you down into the spikes. Continue
left, get the three coins, and then left past another water spout and jump out
of the water onto the land. Watch out for the enemy, go left, and get back in
the water. Swim left, get the three coins, and watch out for the enemy. Jump
out of the water, go left, get back in, avoid the enemy, and get five hearts.
Go left, hit the question mark block for a powerup, and jump out of the water
again. Go left, through the shallow stream of water, past another enemy, and
get two coins. At the end, get out of the water and jump on the blocks to
reveal a pipe, and go down.
Here, watch out for the five enemies. Then, go right and charge into the
question mark block to make a cloud with a coin appear. You can toss the
enemies into it to get coins if you want, or just kill them. Once you're done,
use the jump blocks to jump into the background. Here, hit the two question
mark blocks to get two hearts. Go left and get four coins, then go into the
door. Here, watch out for the enemies running around in the room. You can break
all the blocks that make up the ceiling, and get seven coins and four hearts.
Then, go left and through the door. Now, you'll be on the other side of the
fire wall you'd seen a few rooms before. Watch out for the two enemeies, and
hit the two question mark blocks to get two powerups. Now, spit fire at the
wall on the right to destroy it. Walk right and you can destroy the wall at the
bottom to get a heart. Now, go back up through the pipe.
Now, go left and kill the enemy. Continuing left, you'll see five coins and
four hearts in the water. It's rather hard to get these without hitting the
spikes, but, you can try if you want. There are also two question mark blocks
with two powerups (just in case you get hit). Once you're done, go left, stand
on the blocks sticking out of the water, and spit fire left at the row of
bricks to break some of them, and get three coins. At the end, jump out of the
water and hit the bricks above for two coins and a heart. Then, continue left,
into the next room.
Here, go left to the other side of the room and get three coins. Now, swim down
into the water, avoiding the enemies, and shoot at the fire blocks on the left
to destroy them, get three coins, and reveal a pipe. Go up through the pipe, to
the next room. Spit fire to the left to destroy the blocks, then go left and
jump up. Here, jump on the button at the end of the room. Now, go back to the
left and back through the pipe.
Swim up and jump out of the water. Then, stand on the blocks and fire left to
reveal a path, and go through. Here, go left, past where there's spikes
underwater, to some bricks sticking up in the water. Shoot at them to reveal a
pipe, and go down. Go right, avoid the two enemies, get a coin, and go through
the door. You're now in the background of the room you had been before, where
there are many coins, hearts and breakable blocks. Without counting them all,
suffice it to say there's a bunch back here. Just run around destroying all the
blocks and getting everything back here. Use the jump blocks at the end to
return to the foreground. Finish getting the hearts and coins in this room.
Now, against the left wall, spit fire to reveal a path, and get two hearts. At
the end is a diamond to give you an extra life. There's also four question mark
blocks, containing two hearts and two powerups. Now, go all the way back right,
out of this room, to the previous room.
Jump on top of the block above you. Now, jump into the waterfall, and press A
quickly to swim up it. There's two question mark blocks with powerups in them.
Watch out for enemies as you swim up. There's also a hidden block above one of
the platforms with a heart inside. Go right at the top to get three coins.
Shoot fire to break the blocks to the right of the pipe, and then jump up and
go down the pipe. Here, walk right, kill the enemy, and at the end of the path
go down into the water. Jump from waterfall to waterfall, avoiding the enemies,
and get six coins and six hearts. At the end, go through the passage on the
left, to the next room. Go left, getting four coins and avoiding the two
enemies that fly in from the background. At the end, go into the water and hit
the four question mark blocks from underneath, to get two hearts, a coin, and
the key to the level. Now, go back right, to the previous room. Now, go back
right, up the last waterfall, left and up the pipe.
Break the brick above the pipe, and jump onto the platform above the pipe,
killing the enemy. Hit the question mark block to get a coin. Now, face left
and spit fire to reveal a hidden block with a coin. Jump onto the block, and
get the three coins to the left, avoiding the enemy hiding in the waterfall.
Now, go to the left edge of the waterfall and swim up. At the top, hit the
button and the bricks to your right will be destroyed. Walk over and use the
jump blocks to jump into the background, and go into the door. Here, get the
treasure for the level. Now, leave and use the jump blocks to return to the
foreground. Swim up the waterfall to a platform. Avoid the enemy, and shoot the
brick to get two coins and a heart. Now, swim up and on your left you'll see a
pipe. Go over to it and in, to the next room.
Go left and up, and left across the top of the platforms. Get taken in a circle
by the current, hit the two question mark blocks for two hearts, and get the
five coins. Now go back into the current, but continue left at the split. Go
down and into the pipe. Here, there's a series of currents, and a bunch of
coins. Swim around, being carried by the currents to get the coins. Once you're
done, go to the bottom left corner of the room. As you're being carried right,
spit fire to destroy the blocks. Then, once you're in the botton right corner,
go down where the blocks were. Here, swim along the currents, getting the
hearts and coins, and avoiding the spikes. On the left is a diamond to give you
an extra life. Once you're done, go back up through the opening. Swim to the
lower left part of the room, and go through the pipe. Walk left, and spit fire
at the row of question mark blocks to get three coins and three hearts. Then,
walk left, to the elevator. Insert your key, and go up to the next level.

3.07: Level 7 (WLL07)
On starting the level, walk left and hit the question mark block for a powerup.
Now, jump right, above the elevator, and stomp the blocks to get two coins.
Now, go left and you'll come to some quicksand. You can walk on it, but, don't
get sucked down in or you'll be hurt. Make your way left, past two enemies
jumping out of the sand, and you'll come back to land. Here, charge into the
blocks in front of you to reveal a doorway, as well as a heart and a coin, and
then go inside. Here, go left, kill the enemy, and hit the question mark block
for a powerup. Now, charge left and break the first two bricks, and get a
heart. Jump and break the bricks above to get a coin. Now, go back through the
door.
Fly across the sand, avoiding the two enemies that will jump up at you. When
you come to a platform, land and hit the question mark block for a powerup.
Now, continue left, across the sand and past more enemies. Here, you'll see a
pit with piranas, and a black tornado. You can land on the tornado and it'll
carry you across the pit, and you can get the three coins. Shoot the bricks
ahead, and go onto the second tornado. Get three more coins, and then move onto
the third tornado. As it carries you across, hit the question mark block to get
a powerup, break the brick for a coin, and then jump on top of the platform.
Now, jump and fly left, get the ten coins, and land on the next platform. Now,
jump left across the sand and shoot fire at the bottom blocks. A tornado will
come across and get rid of an enemy for you, revealing a door. Go through the
door to the next room.
Here, there's a cloud with a coin on it, and a question mark block with a
powerup. There are two enemies on the floor, and then one that will fly in from
the background. Now, go left and through the doorway, to the next room. Watch
out as an enemy will fly in from the background when you enter. Kill it, and
then jump to reveal a hidden block with a coin. Spit fire to the left to
destroy the blocks covering the hole. Go down to find two question mark blocks
with powerups and an enemy. Then, climb back up the ladders. Now, jump on top
of the hidden block you'd revealed, and then up again to two more blocks. From
there, jump up against the wall to reveal a hidden block with a coin, and jump
above that to break the block above you. Jump on top of the hidden block, and
then up to the next level, where there are two enemies. Take care of them, and
then hit the five question mark blocks, to get, from the left: heart, coin,
heart, coin, coin. Then, go back down through the opening. Now, fly across to
the left, spit fire to destroy the fire blocks, get a heart, and go left and
enter the door.
Stomp on the bricks below to destroy them, and then spit fire to the left to
destroy the rest of them. Go left, and at the end jump up and kill the two
enemies. Destroy the blocks to the right and get two coins and a diamond that
will give you an extra life. Now, go back to the right and out the door. Drop
down and go through the pipe to the left, into the next room. Here, jump up and
get the three coins. Now, stand against the left wall and jump up to reveal a
hidden block with a coin in it. Spit fire left to destroy one of the blocks
over there. Go left and jump up through the hole you had created. Go down into
the water and get four coins. Then, go left and watch out for the enemy. Now,
swim up and break the two blocks above you, and swim up to get the key for the
level. Swim down and go left to find a question mark block with a powerup. Now,
swim back to the right, to where you'd entered the water. Jump up against the
right side of the opening to find a hidden block with a powerup. You can also
spit fire to the right to break the wall and get two coins. Now, jump on top of
the block to get out of the water, and go back to the right and up.
Now, jump on top of the block above, and up to the next level. Go left, get
five coins, and watch out for the enemy that will fly in from the background.
Now, go back to the right, to the end of the platform, and jump on top of the
block to the right. Fly left, and when you come to the wall, spit fire to break
the top two blocks. Land, go back right, and then fly to the left again to go
through the opening you created. Go left, watch out for the enemy from the
background, and hit the two question mark blocks for a coin and a powerup.
Then, use the jump block to jump into the background.
Here, break the blocks above you to get a coin. Then, go right, to a stairway,
and break the breakable blocks. Go down, and break the breakable blocks below
for a coin and a heart. Then, jump and spit fire to the right to break the
blocks and reveal a doorway. Jump up onto the top platform and spit fire right
to break a block and get a heart. Now, drop down and go right, and enter the
door. Go right and spit fire at the two question mark blocks for two coins.
Continue right, across the pits, and get two coins. Then, drop down and go to
the right to get two hearts. Jump on top of the platform and hit the question
mark block to get a heart. Now, fly left across the top of the room, getting
the long line of coins and hearts. Once you're done, go back to the right.
Climb the platform and fly right to the top of the ledge. Go right and enter
the door to get the treasure for the level, and then leave. Now, fly back
across left and go back through the doorway. Now, go all the way left and use
the jump blocks to return to the foreground. Stand on the ground next to the
pipe and spit fire right to reveal a jump block. Jump into the background and
get twelve coins. Run to the right and use the jump blocks to return to the
foreground. Now, go left and through the pipe, to the next room.
Hit the question mark block to get a powerup. Now, go left, across the sand
pits, watching out for the enemies hiding in them. Along the way, you can pick
up a number of coins. When you get to the other side, kill the enemy, and spit
fire at the pillar, getting a coin and a heart and revealing a door. Go inside
and get thirty coins, and then leave. Go left, duck, and spit fire to reveal
some hidden blocks. Now, walk left, get fifteen coins, and a heart. At the end
of that path, jump onto the pillar, and left onto the second pillar. This
pillar, you can stomp to get a heart. Then, go left onto the third pillar. Jump
and fly across to the left, through the line of seven hearts, to the other
side. Here there's a pipe. Enter it to go to the next room.
Shoot fire to the left to destroy the blocks and get a coin. Walk left, watch
out for the enemy flying in from the background. Now, from the pipe on the
right, stomp on the third floor brick from the right to destroy it and fall
down below. Here, get eighteen coins, and hit the question mark block for a
powerup. Now, go back right and up. Don't worry about the door down there for
now. Go left, kill the enemy on the platform, jump up, kill the enemy on the
platform to the right, and jump up there. Kill the enemies, and spit fire at
the blocks to get, from the left: coin, heart, heart coin, and reveal a door.
Now, go in the door.
Spit fire at the enemy to kill him, then crawl along the bottom. Get six hearts
and five coins in this room. Now, go through the door on the right. You come
out of the door you saw before. Get the three hearts and one coin, and then hit
the question mark blocks to get a heart and a powerup. Then, go back through
the door, left, above the blocks, and through the other door. Now, go down the
ladder, left, down, and left through the pipe to the next room. Hit the
question mark block to get a powerup. Then, walk left, insert the key into the
elevator, and go up, to the next level.

3.08: Level 8 – Boss (WLL08)
Another boss stage. Walk right, jump over the sand pit, to an enemy. Kill him
the same way you did in the last area like this, jumping on him when he's stuck
in the ground. Watch out, as he'll fire missles at you. Duck under the higher
ones, and jump over the lower ones. Once you hit him twice, he'll be killed,
revealing a jump block. Jump from it, through the door in the background, to
the boss.
Again, you can't pause in this room. The enemy will be jumping in the sand in
the background, and, when it gets close enough, dive through the floor. If
you're under him when he does this, you'll be hurt. After diving through the
floor, he'll poke back up through the hole he made. Jump on him when his head
is flat, and you'll hurt him. He'll then jump to the background, and repeat the
process. Hit him three times to kill him.
Once you kill him, coins will begin to fall. Unfortunately, some of these will
fall into the sand where the blocks were broken and sink. Get as many coins as
you can, and, once they're done, you'll jump back out of the door and get the
key. Go right, over the sand pit, to the elevator. Insert the key, get on, and
go up to the next level.

3.09: Level 9 (WLL09)
Upon starting the level, walk right and hit the question mark block to get a
powerup. Then, go right and down the pipe. Here, you'll be standing on a row of
blocks. If you step on the floor below, an enemy will charge out and try to
hurt you. Drop down to make him charge, jump up before he can hit you, and then
when he's going back, charge him to kill him. Go left and do the same thing to
the enemy over there. Now you can get the question mark blocks. They contain a
coin and a powerup. You can also break the breakable blocks to get two hearts.
Now, go back up the pipe.
Go right and hit the question mark block for a coin. Then, go right and kill
the enemy. Watch out though, as it will spit stuff out at you. After that, go
right, where you'll see a big watermellon-like thing. Charge into it to break
it and get a coin. Now, go right, onto a conveyor belt. Watch out as you go
right, as enemies will appear and drop things at you. Drop down the first hole
you come to, and you'll enter another room. Here, kill the two enemies, and
then go right and get fifteen coins. Hit the question mark block to get a
powerup to let you blow fire. Destroy all of the crates in the room to get one
coin and three hearts. Now, walk underneath the hole you fell down and jump to
reveal a hidden block with a coin. There's another one with another coin to the
right of that. Now, get onto the blocks and jump through the hole to return to
the previous room.
Now, get back on the conveyor belt to the left, and walk left until the first
enemy flies in from the background. This enemy will be carrying a watermelon.
Stand underneath him and let him drop it on you, and you'll catch it and hold
it above your head. Walk right, and you'll see an arrow pointing to a platform,
with the words "Put On" above it. Suspicious. In the background there are
moving platforms. Stand to the left of the platform in the foreground, and when
one of the platforms in the background gets onto the second conveyor belt from
the left, press B to drop the watermelon onto the platform and launch it into
the background. It will land on the platform in the background. This will cause
the big watermelon blocking your path to be destroyed. If you miss it, you can
just go back left and get another watermelon.
Now, go right until you come to a question mark block, and hit it for a
powerup. Next to it is an enemy that will shoot things at you. Spit fire at it
to kill it. Continue right and shoot at the watermelon to destroy it and get a
coin. After that is another enemy. Further on, you'll come to a pipe, and go
down it. Go left, and under the question mark block an enemy will charge out at
you. Kill him, then hit the block for a powerup. Hit the block to get a
powerup. Then, use the jump blocks to jump into the background. Jump up, and
spit fire at the two question mark blocks to get a heart and a coin. Now, go
down, and when you come to a big block, shoot it to get a coin. Below that is a
question mark block with a heart. Go down to three breakable blocks, one of
which has a heart. Continue down to a question mark block. Shoot it to get a
coin. Further down you'll come to a platform with five coins on it. Next is a
big block with a coin in it, and below it a question mark block. Shoot it to
get a heart, and a heart from the block next to it. At the bottom, there's a
jump block, which you can use to jump into the foreground. Here, if you hit the
first question mark block on the left, a cloud with a coin will come out. Then,
either toss into the cloud or kill the four enemies, including the one that'll
charge out of the wall. Then, hit the other question mark blocks on the right
for a coin and a heart, and the one on the left for a powerup. Now, shoot the
crate on the left wall to reveal a passage, and go inside.
Hit the question mark block for a powerup. Then, break the line of breakable
blocks above you, and kill the enemy that charges you. Now, jump up to the next
level. Here, you can either crawl under the blocks, or spit fire at them to
break them. If you break them, you'll get three coins and two hearts. At the
end of the path is a heart. Now, go back right, to the previous room. Here, go
to the right, and jump to the top of the three blocks along the side of the
wall. From the top one, jump and fly to the left, and you'll land on top of a
crate. Stomp on it to break it, and then go left, into the next room.
Here, when you enter you're faced with a wall. Spit fire at it to break a path
through, and get three coins along the way. At the end, get five coins, drop
down, and kill the enemy. Then, hit the question mark blocks to get, from the
left: coin, coin, coin, coin, heart. Turn around and walk back right. Instead
of jumping up back onto the path, spit fire at the first block under it to
break it and get a diamond that will give you an extra life. Now, jump back
onto the path, right, and back into the previous room. Now, drop down to the
bottom of the room, and use the jump blocks to jump into the background. Then,
begin jumping up on the platforms, back to the top of the room. At the top, use
the jump blocks to go to the foreground, then go right and up the pipe. Spit
fire at the watermellon to get a coin and reveal a doorway, and go through.
Watch out for all the enemies around, including one that will charge out of the
wall. Once you take care of all of them, make your way to the left, destroying
the watermelons along the way. You'll get two coins and two hearts from them.
Now head back through the door. Go right along the conveyor belt, avoiding the
enemies, and fall down the hole at the end to go to another room.
Break the crates to the left to get a heart. Then go right, killing the
enemies, and get six coins. Then break the small crates to get three coins and
a heart, and the watermelon at the end to get a coin. Hit the question mark
block to get powerup. Then, go back left to the jump blocks, and jump into the
background. Hit the two question mark blocks for a heart and a coin and break
the two breakable blocks, one of which has a coin. Then, go right and break
through the watermelons to get three coins and a heart. Now, go back left and
use the jump blocks to return to the foreground. Walk back to the hole you came
through, stand under it and jump to reveal a block with a coin, then stand to
the right of it and jump to reveal another hidden block with a coin. Jump on
top of the block, get the coin, and then use it to jump back through the hole.
Walk left to the conveyor belt, and the first enemy will fly in holding a
watermelon. Stand under him when he drops it to catch it. Now, bring it right,
to the platform with the arrow pointing at it. As soon as you see the balance
in the background appear, drop the watermelon to have it tossed back there.
This will cause the balance to switch sides, and toss the key to the level to
the front. Go over and get it. Now, go right and hit the question mark block
for a powerup. Then charge into the watermellon to break it and get a coin and
reveal a door. Go through the door.
Fly left across the top of the screen, quickly fire at the block and continue
flying to the ledge to get a diamond to give you an extra life. Then, fly back
over to the right and go down. At the bottom of the ladder, watch out for the
enemy. Continue down to the bottom. Watch out for enemies that will charge out
from both the left and the right. Then, go left, kill the enemy on top of the
blocks, and hit the question mark block for a heart. Jump up to get three
coins. Then, go right and use the jump blocks to jump into the background. Go
up the levels of blocks, breaking a block above you to get through to the next
level, getting coins as you make your way up. At the top, hit a question mark
block for a coin. Then, jump on top of it and fly left to get a heart, and hit
another question mark block for a heart. Now, begin to make your way back down.
As you make your way down, break all the blocks above on your way to get some
coins and hearts. Then, jump back to the foreground. Climb back up the ladders
and go back through the door.
Go right on the conveyor belt, and drop down the hole in the middle. Watch out
for the two enemies, hit the question mark block for a powerup, get the two
coins above the crates on the left, then shoot the crates to get a heart. Then
go right and shoot the two watermelons to get a coin. Go left and use the jump
blocks to jump into the background. Here, go left and hit the question mark
block to get a heart. Then, go right and shoot the watermelons to get a heart
and a coin and reveal a door. Go through to the next room. Shoot the
watermelons to the left to get two coins and a heart. Then shoot the
watermelons to the right to get two hearts and a diamond that will give you an
extra life. Once you're done, go back through the door, use the jump blocks to
return to the foreground, go left, and jump back up the hole.
Go right on the conveyor belt, watch out for the enemies that will come up and
drop things on you, and then go down the next hole you come to. Kill all the
enemies, and destroy the crates to get a number of coins and hearts. Go left
and hit the question mark block to get a powerup. Then stand below the hole you
fell through and jump to reveal a hidden block with a coin, and there's another
one to the right of it. Jump onto the block and then jump through the hole to
return above.
Go left, and get a watermelon from one of the enemies dropping things. Then
bring it right, to the platform with an arrow pointing at it. Time it so you
drop your watermelon just after one of the cups in the background appears from
the left, and it will fall into the one after that. When you're going for the
second cup, wait until the one that already has a watermelon in it appears to
get it in the next one. After getting one into both of the cups, the big
watermelon to the right will disappear, revealing a door. Go inside, get the
treasure for the level, and then leave.
Go right to come to two large watermelons. Shoot at them to get a heart and a
coin and reveal a door, and go inside. Here, kill the three enemies, then walk
right to get six coins. Then there's a diamond that will give you an extra
life, then another coin. Once you have them all, go left and back out the door.
Go right, kill the two enemies, hit the two question mark blocks for a coin and
a powerup, and shoot the watermelon for a coin. Then go right, to the elevator.
Insert the key, get on, and go up to the next level.

3.10: Level 10 (WLL10)
Walk right and hit the question mark block for a powerup. Go right and watch
out for the enemy that will fly in from the background and drop a spike on you.
Continue right, into the next area. In this room, there's an enemy flying
around in circles. Jump on top of him to kill him and go right to the next
area. When you enter, you'll get a heart. Use the jump blocks to jump into the
background, and hit the two question mark blocks to get two coins. Hit the four
breakable blocks, one of them has a coin and one has a heart. Then, go right
and charge at the pillar on the side to break it and reveal a door. Charge the
block to the left to get a coin, and then go in the door. Jump on the enemy,
and then hit the question mark block for a powerup. Go right, get five coins,
and then hit the two question mark blocks for a coin and a powerup. Now, go
back through the door, use the jump blocks to return to the foreground, get the
heart on the ground, and go right to the next area.
Jump on the enemy, go right and hit the question mark block for a powerup, and
go right to the next room. Kill the enemy, shoot the pot on the ground for a
heart, and then stomp on the ground directly below where the pot was to break
open a hole, and go down. Here, get the two coins on the ground, then fire
right to break the blocks and get a coin, a heart, and a diamond that will give
you an extra life. Then, go left to the next room. When you enter the room,
you'll see a pot lying on its side. If you pick it up and toss it, if it lands
on its side, an enemy comes out. If it lands up, though, a coin comes out. Do
this until you get bored, and then go left. A bird will come out of the clock
and start tossing enemies and coins at you, shoot it to kill it. Hit the
question mark block to get a heart, then go left to the next room. Here, get
the four coins, then pick up the pot and throw it to get it off the jump pad.
Jump into the background, get the five coins, jump across the pit to the left
to hit the two question mark blocks for two hearts, and break the two breakable
blocks, one has a heart. Then, go right across the pits and through the door.
Get the four hearts, and hit the two question mark blocks for two powerups,
then go down the pipe. Now, crawl right under the ledge, and jump up breaking
the blocks above. You'll get five coins, one heart, and one diamond for an
extra life. Once you're done, go right to the next room. This room probably
looks a bit familiar, that's fine. Just continue right (don't worry about the
stuff in the background, you already got all of it), and at the end jump up
through the hole to return back above the surface.
Go right and climb up the ladder. At the top, go through the opening on the
right into the next room. As you walk right, the passage to the right will be
blocked, and the face from the background will fly forward. It will spit out
small faces. Jump on one of them and throw it at the large face to kill it and
remove the barrier. Now, go right to the next room. Hit the question mark block
for a powerup, walk right and get the five coins on the ground, kill the enemy,
and hit the question mark block for another powerup. Now fly across the top of
the room getting the ten coins. Once you're done, go back through the left
entrance, and left again into the previous room. Now, fly across to the other
side of the room, and go through the passage on the left.
Here, another face will appear like in the previous room. Kill it like you did
the last one, and then go left. Here, kill the enemy, hit the question mark
block for a powerup, and get the two coins. Then, jump into the background, get
the two question mark blocks for two hearts and hit the breakable block for
another heart. Once you're done, go through the doorway. Kill the enemy, hit
the question mark block for a coin, get the five coins on the floor, hit the
other question mark block for a powerup, then go through the door. Fly across
the room to the right, and land on the small block next to the lower wall.
Shoot at the wall to break it and reveal a doorway, and go through. Shoot the
enemy to the right, then shoot the fire block. If you take too long, enemies
will come out of the clocks. Crawl under the wall, break the two blocks and get
a coin, then jump up to the door and go through. Here, you'll find the treasure
for this level.
Now, go back through the door, under the wall and left, and through the other
door. Drop down to the bottom of the room, get the three hearts, and go through
the door. Shoot the enemy, get the six coins, don't take too long or enemies
will come from the clocks, and go through the door on the right. Now, go left,
get the two hearts and two coins, ignore the jump blocks, and go through the
door on the left. Get the ten coins, hit the two question mark blocks for a
coin and a heart, break the three breakable blocks for two coins and a heart,
then go through the door on the left. Walk left, get the two hearts and two
coins, again ignore the jump blocks, and go through the door on the left. Here,
there are three clocks. From two of them, enemies will come out. However, from
the middle one, the key to the level will come out. Kill the enemies, and get
the key (if it goes back in, just wait for it to come out again). Once you have
it, go through the door on the left. Here, go across the room, getting the
twelve coins and seven hearts. Then, hit the question mark blocks to get two
coins and a heart. Once you're done, use the jump blocks to jump to the
foreground.
Crouch down and fire to the left to reveal a row of blocks across the spikes.
Go across them to get four coins and four hearts. Then, go back to the right,
just before the entrance to the next room. Stand to the left of the wall and
jump up to reveal a hidden block with a powerup. From there, fly left to the
row of blocks above. At the end, drop down and hit the question mark block for
a powerup. You can fire right to complete the row of blocks across the bottom,
getting two more coins and two more hearts. Then, spit fire left to destroy the
wall of fire blocks, one of which has a coin, and once they're clear, jump
across left. There's a powerup on the floor here. Then, destroy the large block
against the wall to get a heart and reveal a door, and go through. Here,
there's two diamonds, which will give you two extra lives. Once you're done, go
back through the door, across the blocks to the right, and through the passage
to the next room.
Here, there's another one of those face things. Kill it, and then go right to
the next room. Here, fly to the right to get the eight coins across the top of
the ceiling, and then fall down to the bottom. Here, kill the enemy by jumping
on it, and hit the question mark block for a powerup. Then, go right, past a
few enemies, and a cloud with a coin on it. You'll come to a large block,
destroy it to find a door and a coin and go inside. Here, there's a room with a
bunch of hearts and coins, as well as two powerups and a jar, inside. Go around
getting them all, and then go back out through the door. Now go right, past
some more enemies, hit the question mark block for a powerup, and go right to
the next room. Go right, watch out for the enemy from the background, hit the
question mark block to get a coin, and break the breakable block for a heart.
Then go right to the elevator, insert the key, and go up to the next level.

3.11: Level 11 (WLL11)
Go right, and hit the question mark block for a powerup. Then, go right to a
row of platforms with fire below. As you make your way across, certain
platforms will flash and drop down. Either wait until they're up, or just jumo
over them. Along the way, get four hearts above the platforms. At the end, jump
down to the ground below. Above is a device that will fire at you when you're
below it. So, watch out for that and make your way across the fire, picking up
three coins along the way. After the second fire pit is a small section of
blocks. Charge into it to reveal a door, and go through. Inside, make your way
across the platforms to the left, picking up two hearts along the way. On the
other side, get the ten coins, and hit the five question mark blocks to get,
from the left: powerup, heart, heart, coin, coin. Once you're done, go back
across the platforms to the right, and through the door.
Go right, avoid the enemy and the beams, and get two coins. You'll come to some
fire blocks which you can't break just yet, you'll be back shortly. Break the
blocks just to the right of that for a heart. Then, continue right, across the
platforms, getting five hearts along the way. On the other side is a question
mark block with a powerup. Get it, and then make your way back across to the
left (watch out for the beam as you go. If it's already at the end, exit the
room to the right and come back). When you come to the fire blocks, break them
to reveal a door, and go through. Inside are two diamonds for two extra lives.
Now go back through the door, across the fire to the right, and through to the
next area.
Hit the question mark block for a powerup. Then, go right to a fire pit. Watch
out for the thing above dropping stuff at you, and go to the third platform
from the left. Stand on it, and it will throw you into the background. Watch
out, because the thing dropping stuff on you will also follow you into the
background. Here, spit fire to the left, and go through the door you revealed.
Get the diamond for an extra life, and then go back out. Go right and shoot the
blocks that you come to and you'll reveal another door, and go through. Go
across the platforms, and at the end get twelve coins. Then shoot the blocks
underneath the question mark blocks and you'll find a diamond that will give
you an extra life. Hit the question mark blocks to get, from the left: coin,
heart, coin, coin, coin, heart. Now make your way left, back across the pit,
and through the door.
Go across the pit, getting the five hearts along the way. Hit the question mark
block for a coin, get the three coins across the pit, then hit the other
question mark block for a heart. Watch out for the thing dropping stuff on you,
and continue to the right. As you go, get five coins, and hit the three
question mark blocks for two hearts and a coin. Cross the pit and get the nine
hearts across the way. At the end, hit the three question mark blocks for two
coins and a heart. Continue right to some jump blocks, but go past it for now.
Shoot fire to your right to reveal a doorway on the other side of the wall. Go
over the top, down inside the space, get a coin, and go through the doorway.
Inside is the treasure for the level. Get it, then leave.
Now, go right across the platforms, getting twenty coins and five hearts. At
the end of the path, fire at the short wall to the right to break it and get a
coin and a heart. Shoot the last set of blocks you come to, and you'll reveal a
door. Go left to get sixteen coins and nine hearts. At the end, stomp on the
breakable blocks to get a coin, and hit the two question mark blocks for two
hearts. Also hit the question mark block in the middle of the room for a heart.
Then, go back right and out the door. Now, use the jump blocks to go to the
foreground. If you want, you can go back to the left along the front path to
get the hearts and coins you missed when you were in the background. When
you're ready, go through the path to the right, to the next area.
Hit the question mark block for a powerup, and the breakable block on the right
has a coin. As you go right, there's a fan on the ceiling and one on the floor.
The one on the ceiling makes it hard for you to jump, and the one on the floor
blows you up a bit. There's no enemies around or anything though, so, neither
of them is really a problem. Continue right and get the three hearts. Shoot the
enemy on the floor (jumping is a bit dangerous since there's fire on the
ceiling). At the end of the path is a fan blowing left, making it hard for you
to walk right. Jump over it and get three hearts. Now, wait for the fans below
to stop, and when they do, walk past them to the, and jump up and hit the
blocks above for a heart and a coin. Then, go right, getting two hearts and two
coins. Now wait for the fans above to stop, and jump across the first fire pit
and get two hearts. Wait for the next set of fans to stop, and then jump across
the next pit and get three coins. Jump on top of the platform before the fan
blows you back to the left, and kill the enemy up there. Jump down and hit the
block for a powerup, and then continue right, over more fans, and get six
coins. At the end, jump up and break the blocks for a heart and a coin. Then,
go to the right, to the next room.
Here, jump over the pit and get the two coins, and then stand on the fan and
wait for it to turn on. When it does, it will blow you up, and you can move
over to the next fan. Wait for it to turn on, and it will blow you up as well.
Go to the fan on the right and have it blow you to the top of the room. Shoot
fire at the wall to the left to reveal a door, and go inside. Go right and
stomp down on the blocks to get a coin. Then, spit fire to the left to get a
heart. Jump back up to the right, wait for the fan to stop, and then go right.
Go across the top of the blocks, but watch out because there are enemies below
that will jump up and break the blocks. At the end of the path is a fan blowing
left. Wait for it to stop, and then go to the end of the path and break the
blocks for a heart. Now go back up, left, and through the doorway to the
previous room.
Drop down to the fan below, and then go left to the two fans over there. Let
them blow you up, and you'll see the key to the level. Move over and grab it.
Drop down to the bottom, and to the right of the fan on the floor are some
blocks. Duck down and shoot fire at them to reveal a pipe, and go down it. Go
right and get three coins, then hit the three question mark blocks for a coin,
a heart and a powerup. Go left, wait for the fan on the ceiling to stop
blowing, then go across the fire. Get the three coins, then hit the three
question mark blocks for a powerup, a heart and a coin. Then, go back right, to
the fan under the pipe, let it blow you up, and go up the pipe. Now, go right,
to the next room. Go right, watch out for the enemies on the blocks, and the
ones below jumping up breaking the blocks. Get the hearts as you go along. At
the end is the elevator. Insert the key, get on, and go up to the next level.

3.12: Level 12 – Boss (WLL12)
Walk right, and you'll come to the enemy guarding the door. He'll shoot fire
out at you, either jump or duck to avoid that. He'll do it a second and third
time, again avoid it. After that, he'll jump into the air and try to squish
you. While he's stuck in the ground, jump on him to hurt him and he'll go back
into the middle. He'll then repeat the process, shooting fire at you three
times, and then jumping into the air and trying to attack you. After hitting
him a second time, he'll die and reveal a jump pad. Use this to jump through
the door.
In this room, again, you can't pause. There's a foreground and background to
the room, with jump pads on the sides. The enemy will begin by shooting objects
at you. When he's about to fire, jump on top of him to reveal him, and then
jump on him again to hurt him. Do this three times to kill him.
After killing him, coins will begin falling in the foreground. Jump to there
(if you weren't there already), and collect as many coins as you can. Once
you're done, you'll jump back out of the door, and get the key. Go right, to
the elevator, insert the key, and go up to the next level.

3.13: Level 13 (WLL13)
Go right and hit the question mark block for a powerup. Then, stand on top of
the block the powerup was in and charge left, to the section above the
elevator, to break it and reveal a door. Go inside to find the treasure for the
level, and then leave. Go right, jump over the spiked ball, and get a coin. Go
right, avoiding the spiked balls and an enemy, and get a coin. At the end of
the path, go right, to the next room.
Here, there are individual blocks, with spiked balls circling around them.
Avoid the balls and jump on the first two blocks, and then left to a platform.
Above is a block with a powerup. Now, go right to the block below you and jump
down to the right to another ledge. Here, there are four individual blocks
below you, the second and fourth from the left contain powerups. To get them,
first stomp on the second block, but quickly move off it so you don't get the
powerup yet. Then, go stomp on the fourth block, and get both powerups, while
avoiding the spiked balls above. Now, jump across left, to the ledge where the
first powerup was, and go through the opening to the next room.
Here, break some of the blocks (only as many as you need to break for now),
kill the two enemies, and go up to the top where the two question mark blocks
are. Stand to the left of the left one, duck and fire right to hit the blocks,
as well as two hidden blocks, and get a powerup and three coins. Now, walk
left, shoot the block for a heart, and kill the enemy below. Now, above you
between the blocks to the right and the ledge to the left is a row of hidden
blocks. Jump to hit them all and reveal nine coins. Then, get back up onto the
blocks and walk across to a ledge with a heart and a diamond that will give you
an extra life. Now you can destroy all of the blocks in the room to get coins.
Now, go back through the entrance on the right.
Make your way across the room right, to a block with a powerup on it. Jump and
break the block above for a heart. To your right you can see the key for the
level, but you can't get it just yet. Fly across to the left side of the room
to a ledge, break the block above for a coin, and go through the opening to the
next room. Here, there are enemies in the foreground and background that will
toss spiked balls at you. Go left, avoid them and the enemy, and on the left
side of the room is a heart and a powerup. Now go right, to the platform in the
middle of the room. Avoid the spiked balls and jump up to break the blocks and
reveal a pipe, and go through.
When you come up, you're in the background of the room you began this level in.
Go left, get three hearts and three coins, and hit the question mark block for
a heart. Go right and break the blocks at the end for two coins a heart, and
reveal a door and go through. Here, walk right, avoid the spiked balls, and hit
the question mark block for a powerup. Then, go to the platform in the middle,
jump up to break the blocks and reveal a pipe, and go through. Now go right, to
the next room. Go right, over the pits, avoid the spiked balls. At the end, hit
the question mark block for a powerup, and then go down the pipe. Here, make
your way left, avoiding the spiked balls. In the middle of the room hit the
question mark block for a powerup. Continue left, and go through the door.
You're now in the background of one of the earlier rooms, with a row of blocks
above you. Break the fourth block from the right, and jump up. Go up along the
blocks, left and then back right, to a door against the right wall, and go
through. Go right, and use the jump blocks to jump into the foreground. Go
left, avoiding the spiked balls and the enemy, and go down the pipe. As you
leave the pipe and begin to fall down, you'll fall through and get the key to
the level. You'll continue to fall down to the floor, in a room you've been in
before, you'll be doing some retracing now, don't worry, that's what you need
to do. Jump up the blocks, to the opening on the left wall, and through. Here,
go left and up the pipe in the middle of the room. Go right, past the jump
blocks, and through the door at the end of the path. Go right, and up the pipe
in the center of the room. Go right, to the next room. Go right, over the pits
and past the spikes, and down the pipe at the end. Go left, past the spikes,
and through the doorway.
Now, jump through the hole and up the blocks to the top of the room. This time,
though, as opposed to going through the door on the right, continue up and left
and go through the door on the left. Go right, over a pit, and you'll come to
some jump blocks. Use them to jump into the foreground, kill the enemy and hit
the question mark block for a powerup. Now, go right, to the elevator, and up
to the next level.

3.14: Level 14 – Boss (WLL14)
Walk right to come to an enemy. He will fire off missiles at you, which will
stay in the room and continue to try to hit you. Watch out for them, wait for
him to jump and get stuck in the ground, and then jump on him to hurt him.
After hitting him twice, he'll die and reveal a jump block. Use it to jump
through the door, to the final enemy.
Again, you can't pause. The enemy will rise out of the ground and begin
attacking. The platform you're on, if you jump facing forward, will launch you
to the back, and you'll automatically jump off the back and return to the
front. What you're trying to do, is hit the enemy in the nose when you're
jumping. Hit him five times to take care of him.
Congratulations, you've beaten the game.

3.15: Odds and Ends (WLOAE)
If anyone's curious, at the end of the game I was playing through for this
walkthrough, I had 7003 coins and 33 lives, and it took 3 hours, 11 minutes and
42 seconds to complete. Of course, your coin total might vary slightly (in
particular, you can get coins from most enemies by killing them a certain way,
but often it's a pain and not worthwhile to do so), and your life total might
vary slightly depending on how many times you died (I did die a few times along
the course of making this).
Once you beat the game and watch the ending, when you return to the title
screen it will list your "best time" for completing the game on the title
screen. Also, the file you beat the game with, if you enter it again, is now
back at the first level, but with changes. More enemies and obstacles, and
likely other changes. As of right now this walkthrough doesn't specifically
cover that mode, but, chances are most things are similar enough where it's
still a help.
Your ending will vary slightly depending on how many coins you got, if you died
or not, and if you got all the treasures. Nothing too dramatic, but, it's
something else to try for. Now, get going on that new quest. Good luck.
