Pitching and batting occur with a viewpoint from the back net, and when the ball is hit, the viewpoint switches upward, with a style that lets you look out over the stadium. The game’s system incorporates action elements such as changing the speed of the ball to be pitched in accordance with the gauge in the upper part of the screen. Most noteworthy are the things incorporating 3D effects, which cannot be experienced with other hardware, such as the shot where the ball thrown by the pitcher comes close to you or the high-up shot when a batter hits a pop fly.

片方の目だけ暗色のフイルムを通してものを見ると、その目に映る像が
反対側の目よりコンマ数秒だけ遅く脳に伝達される。このため、片方の目
だけ一瞬前の映像を見ているように感じる。普段は気付かないほどの差だ
が、横に多重スクロールする映像を見ると、この一瞬の差が立体感を生み
出すのだ。簡単にできる方法なのでお気に入りのゲームで試してみては?
When you look at something with both eyes and have just one of your eyes looking through darkly colored film, the image visible to this eye is transmitted to your brain just a fraction of a second slower than that of your other eye. As a consequence, it will seem to you that this one eye is looking at the image from a moment ago. This is a difference that you will usually never notice, but if you look at imagery with multilayered scrolling in the horizontal direction, this momentary difference creates a stereoscopic feeling. Since you can do this easily, why not try it out with your favorite game?
