A New Title in the 3D Golf Series
T&Eソフトの代表作といえば、
パソコンやスーファミで発売され
ている3Dゴルフシミュレーショ
ンシリーズ。独自の3Dプロセッ
サー″ポリシス″を駆使すること
によって、ボールの飛行軌跡や地
形の起伏などをリアルに表現でき
るのだ。
When it comes to representative works of T & E Soft, there’s the 3D Golf Simulation series, which has been released for the PC and the Super Famicom. By making full use of their unique 3D processor, “POLISYS,” they’ve been able to represent the flight path of the ball and the ruggedness of the terrain very realistically.
基本的なシステムは、いままで
のシリーズとほぼ同じ。フェード、
ドロー、トップスピン、バックス
ピンなど実際のゴルフテクニック
を使い分けることができる。また、
ショット音や歓声など演出面もバ
ッチリ。プレイモードにはオリジ
ナルコース18ホールを総勢48人で
きそうトーナメントと、個人プレ
イのストロークが用意されている。
The basic system this time is almost the same as with the previous series. Actual golf techniques, such as fade, draw, topspin, backspin, and so on, can be selectively used. In addition, the production aspects, such as the shot sounds and cheers, are also perfect. For the play modes, there are available individual Stroke Play and Tournament Play, in which a total of 48 players compete in the original 18-hole course.

It’s a 3D Shooter with a feeling of solidity, in which a “Solid Line System” has been set up in all stages, which lets you freely move up and down between the two flight lines that are at different altitudes. Moving between the flight lines can be done easily with a direction key and a button, so you can push it cleanly into the 3D spaces.
