Got my virtual back from John yesterday. It all seems to work fine now, just gonna keep playing it to test it, hopefully all should be well now. Thanks guys!

Supposedly he’s all done with my VB and is set to send it back and it’s working like new. I hope it all survives shipping and doesn’t glitch anymore! I’ll let you guys know.

Ok, he got back to me finally. He’s got my VB and will work on it soon. I’m not gonna lie, I was nervous, but now that he’s gotten back to me I feel a lot better.

Is this guy John reliable? I emailed him the first time and he got right back to me, then I emailed him a couple more times just asking about turn around time, no reply. I mailed it out yesterday and he will be receiving it today, so I emailed him to tell him and he hasn’t even gotten back to me about that. I’m starting to get worried that I just sent my virtual boy to be stolen :(.

I’m probably going to send it in to him. Price sounds reasonable, seems reputable, and the seller offered to pay $25 of it.

I sent him an email, lets see what he says. What’s crazy is I’m usually the one people come to to fix video game stuff and computers, and now I’m the one needing help. I can solder pretty well, but not SMD stuff, I don’t have the hands for it. I would really rather get this thing fixed and working properly so that I can play it and enjoy it rather than have it be a display item on a shelf somewhere.

I hope he gets back to me soon, I’m itching to play some wario land!

Thanks for the reply. I’m not really blaming the seller, even tho they said it works 100% in the auction. Is there anyone on these forums that I could send the cable to, or even the whole unit?

Thanks again.
